Personality: Bara is a dark, brooding, silent, lonely person. He hates talking to people, and the company of other people. Bara loves to be in the shadows, and enjoys collecting information. A true assassin at heart, he enjoys killing and finds it relaxing. He is slightly insane, and will often ramble to himself, speak in riddles, or hum the lullaby his mom sang to him as a child. Only when he fights and kills will the words come out. They come out warped and dark, a twisted version of the lullaby she once sang that revolves around demons and death.

Clan Name: Bara

Kekei Genkai: Members of the Bara clan are able to produce a fog-like chakra that it black in color. This fog will cover the field, eliminating all light in the area. It is impossible to see through this fog, but it is possible to get rid of it through wind based techniques or other similar means such as an explosion. They are also naturally adept and agile, making them perfect assassins. Their fog can be solidified into a dome of darkness, that no one can escape, but they also lose most of their sight. Some say that the fog can put opponents to sleep if they aren't careful.

Clan History: Bara was a prestigious clan of assassins long before the Shinobi took over. They are said to be the original users of chakra, and possible the fathers of the Shinobi world. Unlike the Shinobi they had no nindo or other codes of honor, they killed for money and breed for survival. The only thing that mattered to each and every member was that they killed enough people and brought at least two Bara into the world. When assassinations became less and less common, due to the arrival of the Shinobi, the Bara went underground. They began bounty hunting Shinobi, possibly out of revenge for the Shinobi stealing their skill and making a profit off of it. It was only after the Great Shinobi War that the Bara came out of hiding. They became a wandering clan, seeking work where it could be found. Each and every one of them was labeled a dangerous missing ninja, so legal jobs became hard to find.

Reido
Reido is the assassination blade that Hakuben chose when joining the ranks of assassins in his clan. It is basically two black metal poles that are the exact lengths of his upper arm and forearm, connected at the elbow by a joint mechanism. Right where his hand is another metal poles sticks out so the he can grip it for full control over the weapon. The blade begins at the highest part of his upper arm, extending to about two and a half feet past his hand. The blade follows the pole, and as soon as it hits the end extends outward so that it is about four inches wide.

Name-Fog ~ Enmu

Description- This technique is the most basic form of the Bara bloodline. The user creates a thick black fog with their chakra, similar to that of Kirigakure no jutsu. However, this fog eliminates all light in the area it covers. It can be blown away by a wind technique.

Description- This technique is a simple Kenjutsu. The user will disappear into the shadows, reappearing behind the opponent. The flat of their blade will come out to strike the opponent, disorienting them or knocking them unconscious.

Description- Another simple Kenjutsu, this technique uses Bara's agility to allow him to appear somewhere around the opponent, cutting them at an immense speed. The cuts add up to one hundred slashes in five seconds, literally cutting anyone caught by it to pieces.

Description- This technique is a more advanced form of the Bara bloodline. The fog becomes more thick and dense due to the higher level of chakra. If the fog is breathed in the opponent will begin to feel drowsy, and sleep in and out of consciousness.

Description- This technique is a wider-scaled version of Enmu no jutsu. The user releases enough fog to cover a 20 meter radius, as well as a ten foot height. The fog will solidify into a massive dome, taking away any and all light from the area. The dome can be blown away by an A and above wind techniuqe, or by striking Hakuben.

Description- As the name suggests, Hakuben will appear behind the opponent or above them, after hiding in the shadows. He will then quickly jab or slash at vital organs or arteries.

Description- These clones are formed from nearby shadows. When struck they dissipate into the black fog that is produced by Enmu no jutsu. These clones are genjutsu, meaning that if they strike the opponent the opponent will believe they were struck, but they weren't really. This is used as a distraction from Haku, who will be hiding in the shadows to wait for his chance to strike.

Description- By cloaking himself in shadows, Hakuben is able to completely camouflage himself in any black environment. This is especially useful at night or in combination with his bloodline.

Description- This technique is almost a reversal of the bloodline technique used by the Bara clan. It will turn the area around the user and his opponent white, all dark colors becoming lighter and all light colors becoming darker. Black is white and white is black. As a result, if the user cloaks himself in shadows, he is able to move around without being spotted by the opponent. This is a genjutsu, so any doujutsu specialized in breaking genjutsu will be able to break this if the person using it is the user's rank or higher.

Description- It is said that members of the Bara clan have a special connection to the shadows around them. Using this same connection, the person using this technique is able to sense when a shadow moves, and where it is when it does move. This allows the member to find people in hiding, or even get around camouflage techniques.

Description- A simple kenjutsu where the user steps out from the shadows where they are hiding, and pierces the opponent through their gut, impaling them.

Description- This simple kenjutsu utilizes Haku's agility. He will stand completely still until an opponent gets within cutting range. Then, using the stored up energy in his muscles, he will thrust at the opponent at a speed even greater than the speed he can normally obtain with his weapon. The action is similar to a snake snapping forward to bite someone, and nearly as deadly.

Description- This advanced kenjutsu is extremely difficult to block. The user moves so fast that to any normal person they suddenly appear on the other side of the opponent. When they do appear on the other side, three masses slashes will appear in the opponent's body if they weren't fast enough to dodge or block them. This technique is so fast that even to a trained it he will seem a blur, it would take a special doujutsu to slow him down effectively.

History

Life in Death:
Hakuben was born, literally, underground. He was born in a cavern built deep within the earth, that his parents had found through a maze of weaving tunnels. This cavern was where his parents had met, and fallen in love despite the father's clan's rules about love. They became lovers and met nearly every day in the cavern, a large hole in a mountain with a small underground lake illuminated by phosphorescent moss that clung to the ceiling. During the labor process the mother died, but Hakuben survived. The father had worried about this, paranoid that the curses of his ancestors would get to the child or his lover. He would have preferred it to be the child, but it wasn't. Shaken and destroyed by the death of his lover, the man could hardly look at his son. He took the son to his sister and left without a word.

Young Assassination:
Haku would then be raised by his aunt, though he was never told that she was anything other than his mother. She would treat him like a son, and raise him right, feed him, and train him in the arts of their clan. Despite the rules of the clan, Haku became attached to his mother and developed quite the affection for her. At the age of eight he would learn to activate his kekkei genkei, and by ten he was skilled enough to join into the ranks. It was then that he had to choose his assassination weapon. At the age of nine he took on a weapon smithy apprenticeship to earn money for his mother and himself, since she was too old to work and he was too young to join ranks. It was then that he had crafted Reido, and Reido would be his weapon of choice. His first test to join the ranks, however, would prove fatal to his mentality. He was told to assassinate his mother, because she had broken clan laws and was helping an exile of the clan. Haku thought he was strong enough to do this, but he wasn't. He successfully killed her, but it would shatter his mental state. He went insane, and left the clan to find a new way of life.

The Oath:
Haku began to wander the world, looking for bounties and heads to profit from. However, Haku failed to realize that Shinobi didn't like it when Bara clan members took their bounties. This made things very difficult for him, and he rarely escaped a "Bounty Bar" without getting into several fights first. He was a genius at assassinations and infiltrating, however, and proved to be one of the most famous Bara clan member on the Black Market. He became somewhat of a sellsword, offering up his fighting skills for money. It was then that he found the woman who would give him a steady life. The woman lead an organization of criminals, and she wanted to add him to her ranks. Haku swore to give his life for the organization, grateful for the commitment. After he gave the Oath, he expected to jump right into the organization. However, the woman said that she wanted to test his skills and see if they weren't all just talk first.
