| General Information:Name: Karei Nickname/Alias:Firecracker Ninja Weight: 143 lbs. Height: 5'6" Age: 24 Gender: Male Looks:Normal:Karei normally enjoys wearing makeup. Only in the form of interesting designs and eyeliner though, nothing big. He enjoys making diamonds below his eyes in various colors of eyeliner, black being the most common. He is a tall man, with childish features and a lean body-build. His face is soft and young looking, with childishly excited eyes and a small button nose. He is normally smiling or at least smirking. Karei enjoys wearing various hats, in combination with his black dress shirt and jeans. He also enjoys wearing a black trench coat on cool days, leaving it behind when it is warm outside. Karei has mouths on either hand, and carries several pouches on his belt filled with clay. Around his neck is a chain necklace with a pendant in the shape of the Iwagakure symbol. This is his version of a headband. Winter:In the winter Karei usually wears white clothing. This usually consists of a fur-line sweatshirt with a massive hood, and white pants. His boots are usually black, combat-boot style. He still carries his pouches of clay, though he switches them into fur-lined pouches to keep them at a warm temperature. In the winter he wears special leather gloves with holes in the palms for his mouths. He also enjoys wearing various kinds of scarfs, earmuffs, and warmer hats. Karei generally doesn't wear makeup in the winter, as his skin becomes dry in cold weather and he is afraid it will come out looking bad. He continues to wear his chain necklace, showing his pride for his village. Combat:When dressing for combat Karei does not wear makeup. He is always wearing his trench coat, and combat boots. Karei's physical demeanor changes as well. He looks much more confident, standing straight and tall, with a taunting smile on his face. He wears black pants, and some form of colorful shirt. The pouches of clay are strapped to his waist still, generally left constantly open in case of an ambush or surprise attack. At his waist he carries a tanto blade with no significant abilities besides the fact that it can cut people. His chain necklace can still be seen dangling around his neck. Personality: Karei is an artist at heart. Everything he does is careful, graceful, calculated, and precise. He never makes a move without thinking about it and visualizing the outcome. Obsessed with his artwork, Karei rarely allows himself to dabble in anything else. He knows plenty of jutsu but refuses to use them if they don't have a 'beautiful outcome'. He is a true believer in the beauty of nature, and enjoys being surrounded by plants and animals. Unfortunate enough to have been born in the stone village, he knows little of the beauty of forests and plains except through his travels and the paintings he has seen. Karei does not believe that his art is the only true art, as he believes anything with the person's soul put into is art. He is a true hippie, very mellow and not quite as hot headed as most would expect judging by his nickname 'Firecracker Ninja'. He is more of a lover than a fighter, but isn't afraid to fight if its necessary. Never one to start a fight, Karei will finish one even if it isn't his own. He has no concept of honor, as he finds it grossly useless. Karei is gay, plain and simple. He has no interest in women besides as combat partners and good friends. He is a very promiscuous person, open about his sexuality and not afraid to make an advancement on a fellow gay shinobi. Unlike many Kage before him, he is very trusting and willing to ally with any village that wants to. He is a helpful man, and will do anything in his power to help as many people as possible that ask it of him. However, he is still logical. He would not risk thousands of lives for a handful, nor would he risk a handful for thousands. If he can find no outcome with minimal risk of death he will go in himself. Clan InformationClan Name: N/A Kekei Genkai: Karei's mouths are quite possibly a kekkei genkei, shared with the akatsuki member Deidara. However, it is a possibility that it could just be a Hijutsu they both learned before Karei's loss of memory. The hands allow him to soften clay, so that he can form it into various animals or insects. These sculptures can be enlarged by Karei, or simply controlled like puppets. | RP SAMPLE: Rona strode confidently into a large cave within the abandoned coral city. In her hand she held a piece of paper she had crumpled into a ball. The paper told her to meet someone in the cave where she stood at the time she had arrived. She was on time and in place, and yet no one was around. Smelling a rat, she unfastened the pistol from its holster, removing it with a click as she turned the safety off. Her slim fingers wrapped around the handle of the gun firmly, her index finger resting on the trigger lightly. She took her steps carefully, one foot in front of the other. Each footstep was so light that it made absolutely no sound in the massive and silent cave. Her suspicions would soon be confirmed as three men entered the area. Each held a weapon, two with chains and a third with a long, rusty, metal pipe. They were all dressed in street clothes, hoodies and baggy pants. Most likely amateur gang members sent to do the dirty work. The biggest of the three, the one armed with the pipe the size of her arm, advanced on her first. With the metallic click of a trigger, the echoing boom of a bullet being fired, and the clang of a bullet hitting the ground, the boy was killed. She smiled and set the safety back on her pistol. Now was a time for training, not easy kills. She fastened it back into her holster and removed the balisong she stole from the guard from within her dress. It had been tucked neatly between her breasts, as she had no pockets. With a flick of her wrist she opened the knife, and with a click locked it open. Motioning for the bigger of the two that were left to come at her, she waited for her chance to get a good stab in. Before he could get close enough for her to stab him, he lashed out at her with the chain. She ducked beneath it, letting it whip past her and hit the rock wall beside her. Not missing a beat, she pounced at him. Her fist came up in an uppercut fashion, catching his chin and sending him hurtling backward toward the ground. She brought her right leg up above her head, spinning as she brought it down so that the steel-tipped toe of her boot would meet his sternum. She heard the satisfying snap of bone breaking off of bone and moved on toward the next boy. Picking up the chain from the boy she had just killed, she began to swing it at a rapid pace by her side. The boy looked frightened, but it was obvious that running was not an option to the boy. Whoever had sent them was looking for her dead, and if they failed that person would not be pleased in the slightest. Smiling, she released the chain as it spun. Having let go at the perfect time, the chain sailed through the air toward him. It caught on his chain, tangling with it and wrapping around his wrist. While he was distracted she charged him, kneeing him in the gut when she got close enough. When he bent low because of the impact with his gut, she brought her elbow down on the back of his head. He crashed to the floor, bleeding from his nose. Rona sat on his back, pulling his head up by his hair. She lowered herself down so that her mouth was by his ear. ”Not your lucky day.” She said as she drew the balisong across his throat. His reply was drowned out by the sputtering and squelching that came from both him and his neck as blood poured out. She stood up, wiping the knife off on a rag she had brought with her. Tossing the rag on the dead body of the boy, she closed her knife and put it back in its place between her breasts. Rona walked out of the cave, pissed and prepared to find whoever had ordered the hit. |

Kibaku Nendo - Exploding Clay Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Attack Karei is an artist at heart, and he uses his modeling clay to fashion animals which help him in combat. This clay is fashioned into destructive art using the Earth Element. For that reason, the art models are weak to Lightning based attacks. The art models can take the form of birds for flight and exploding seeker birds and spiders. Karei possesses two mouths on the palm of each hand. Withdrawing a bit of clay from his pouch, one of the mouths can consume the clay, imbue it with his explosive chakra and fashion it into a creature. Karei can then make the item bigger after forming the necessary handseals. He will retain control over the item and can decide what actions the clay art will take.
Each piece of art will be infused with one of four explosive chakra types: C1, C2, C3 or C4. C1 is used in most of Karei's smaller art pieces including spiders, centipedes and birds. C2 is used in his favorite attack, the C2 Dragon combo jutsu. C3 was seen in his most powerful large scale attack, his Speciality #18 Jutsu. And finally, C4 is seen in his most deadly attack, the microscopic bomb C4 Karura.

Kibaku Nendo • C2 Doragon - Exploding Clay • C2 Dragon Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Attack Karei is an artist at heart, and he uses his modeling clay to fashion animals which help him in combat. After withdrawing a bit of clay from his pouch, Karei will use his palm mouths to consume the clay and fashion it into a dragon which is infused with his C2 chakra.
Karei will act in conjunction with a clone to create a combination attack meant to stop an agile opponent. The large dragon will first drawn in some of its tail to create numerous spheres which it will expel from its mouth. The dragon can then take to the air and while the clone places the spheres underground, beneath the feet of their opponent. From his position in the air, Karei can launch smaller, more explosive C2 dragons towards his target. This combination of land mines and aerial attacks will box his opponent in, making any wrong move their last.

Karei possesses a specialty jutsu which can cause massive damage. Karei imbues his explosive art with his chakra, in this technique's case he imbues his clay model with his most explosive chakra, called C3. After he sends the model off, he can use a release command to detonate it. It is capable of leveling an entire village.
Nendo Bunshin - Clay Clone Rank: B Note: Secret Technique Range: - Type: Supplementary Karei is an artist at heart, and he uses his modeling clay to fashion objects which help him in combat. This includes using his clay to create a clone. Should his opponent become intertwined with the clone, they will be held in place and unable to maneuver. Because the clay is related to the Earth Element, it is weak to Raiton based attacks. This provides a means of release from the clay.
Nendo Kimera no Jutsu - Clay Chimera Technique Rank: S Note: Secret Technique Range: - Type: Supplementary Karei is an artist at heart, and he uses his modeling clay to fashion objects which help him in combat. His most powerful technique involves ingesting a large amount of clay through his two palm-mouths. He will then use his earth elemental chakra to begin covering himself in the clay. The end result will be a massive chimera made of clay which is controlled by Karei. Karei controls the chimera from the inside, being the center of the beast. The beast is able to fire a mist filled with microscopic explosives filled with C4 chakra. These explosives, if breathed in, will blow the opponent up from the inside out. Karei can also simply detonate the explosives from the air, creating a massive explosion all around his opponent. This technique takes up most of Karei's chakra, and can only be used in a battle.
Jibaku Bunshin - Self-Destructing Clone Technique Rank: A Note: Secret Technique Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Attack, Supplementary Jibaku Bunshin is a Ninjutsu technique used by Karei. High in skill, Karei can create the one unique bunshin without the use of his hands. The clay bunshin can ingest some of his explosive clay and focus its chakra to that internal spot in its body. The chakra will activate the clay causing the bunshin to blow up in a violent explosion. The bunshin and explosion can also act as a decoy, allowing Karei to escape from enemy detection.
Doton:
Doro Gaeshi - Mud Overturn Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Defense Doton • Doro Gaeshi is a defensive Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. After striking the ground with their hands, a large wall of earth will rise into place as defense. The defense is not perfect though, a hard or drilling impact can puncture the wall.
Doryou Dango - Mausoleum Earth Dumpling Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Attack Doton • Doryou Dango is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. After striking the ground with his hands, Karei is able to overturn the earth into a large dumpling shape chunk of earth the size of a mausoleum. Using his immense strength, he can lift up the ball and hurl it at his opponent, flatening all in its path.
Doryuudan - Earth Dragon Projectile Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Attack Doton • Doryuudan is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. The ninja will do the necessary hand seals and create a dragon from the river of mud made after using the Doryuu Taiga technique. This dragon will then spew mud projectiles from its mouth.
Doryuu Heki - Earth Style Wall Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Defense Doton • Doryuu Heki is a defensive Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. The ninja will do the necessary hand seals and then spew a line of mud onto the ground. The mud will then grow into a large mud wall to help defend against incoming attack.
Doryuu Jouheki - Earth Style Rampart Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Defense Doton • Doryuu Jouheki is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. The ninja will do the necessary hand seals. Then a large earthen wall will erupt from the ground.
Doryuu Katsu - Earth Style Split Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Attack, Supplementary Doton • Doryuu Katsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. The ninja will do the necessary hand seals, then place their hand to the ground. This will cause the earth to rise up and split apart. Once the ninja removes their hand from the ground, the earth parting will end.
Doryuu Taiga - Earth Flow River Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Attack, Defense Doton • Doryuu Taiga is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. The ninja will do the necessary hand seals and transform the ground upon which the enemy stands into a river of mud. Doton Kekkai • Dorou Doumu - Earth Barrier • Earth Dome Prison Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Attack, Supplementary Doton Kekkai • Dorou Doumu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. After striking the ground with his hands, Karei is able to overturn the earth and cause it to rise up around his opponents. Placing his hands against the dome he is able to suck out the chakra from the people trapped inside and bring it into his own body. At the same time Karei will use his own chakra to spread throughout the dome, this allows him to repair any damage his opponents manage to inflict on the inside. The chakra is not evenly spread out though, as the chakra flows away from Karei, it becomes more and more weak. Allowing the dome to be broken on the far side if hit by a hard enough force.
Iwa Yado Kuzushi - Stone Lodging Destruction Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Attack Doton • Iwa Yado Kuzushi is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. This technique allows the ninja to control nearby stone and rock. This can be especially useful if in a cave or a stone lodging. The technique can loosen the rocks and cause them to come raining down on whomever is trapped inside.
Moguragakure no Jutsu - Mole Hiding Technique Rank: C Range: - Type: Supplementary Doton • Moguragakure no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. This technique allows the ninja to burrow into the ground and hide out of sight. This allows them to avoid attack or travel underground.
Retsudo Tenshou - Revolving Split Earth Palm Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Attack Doton • Retsudo Tenshou is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. This technique allows the ninja to control nearby stone and rock. When the ninja forms the needed handseals and slams their palm to the ground, surrounding rock will begin to churn and twist up crushing all those trapped within it.
Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu - Double Suicide Decapitation Technique Rank: D Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Supplementary Doton • Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. The ninja will travel through the ground to appear below their target. They will then surprise their target by then pulling them into the ground. Once in the ground their target is thus immobilized.
Yomi Numa - Swamp of the Underworld Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Attack Doton • Yomi Numa is a Ninjutsu technique used by Karei utilizing the Earth element. After forming the needed handseals, a vast swamp can appear beneath his target to sink and kill it. |

| Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu - Great Fireball Technique Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Attack Katon • Goukakyuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals, draws chakra from their mouth into their chest and them immediately exhales it. They then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames the ninja will bring their hand to their mouth to control it.
Housenka no Jutsu - Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique Rank: C Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Attack Katon • Housenka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals and then emits a series of small fire balls. The ninja can also hurl a projectile which is covered in these same flames. To the opponent the attack appears to be only the balls of flame, they do not see the hidden threat within the flames. Meaning that even if the flames are put out, the projectiles still converge on the target. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai.
Gouryuuka no Jutsu - Great Dragon Fire Technique Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+) Type: Attack, Supplementary Katon • Gouryuuka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja will expel dragon head fireballs at their opponent. These powerful fireballs can punch through concrete.
Karyuudan - Fire Dragon Projectile Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Attack Katon • Karyuudan is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja will do the necessary hand seals and create mud projectiles using the Doryuudan technique. The ninja will then blow a large flame to ignite the mud projectiles.
Karyuu Endan - Fire Dragon Flame Projectile Rank: B Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m) Type: Attack Katon • Karyuu Endan is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does a string of hand seals and the proceeds to blow a large jet of fire from their mouth.
Kasumi Engo no Jutsu - Covering Mist Technique Rank: A Range: Close (0m ~ 5m) Type: Attack This jutsu allows the user to create and blow a flammable gas from their lungs. Once it comes in contact with fire or sparks, the gas ignites into a large fireball. Kagero used this technique while disguised as Kabuto Yakushi.
Suiton
Suiro no Jutsu (Water Prison Technique) Type: Supplementary Range: Short 0-5m Rank: C This jutsu is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. Clones can be used in place of the actual person, provided that the clone is the one that performed the technique. This jutsu can't be performed without a sufficiently large body of water to supply the water for it. Despite the fact that the prison is made up entirely out of water, and the target is unable to move while within it, the target is still able to breathe.
Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Technique) Type: Supplementary Range: Short 0-5m Rank: C This jutsu creates one or more identical copies of the user out of water. Like the Shadow Clone Technique, these clones are capable of attacking and using jutsu, but they are easier to defeat because they are only one-tenth of the user's power. Additionally, they can only be controlled within a certain distance of the user.
Suiton: Mizuame Nabara (Water Release: Syrup Capture Field) Range: Short 0-5m Rank: C Using this jutsu, the user can spit a stream of extremely sticky syrup that covers the ground and holds opponents in place. Any ninja capable of walking on water can avoid being stuck in the syrup, but need to do so before being caught.
Suiton: Suishoha (Water Release: Water Shockwave) Type: Offensive Range: Short to Mid 0-10m Description: B Using this jutsu, the user can spit out a large body of water and control it to attack their opponent.
Suiton: Suikodan no Jutsu (Water Release:Water Shark Missile Technique) Type: Offensive Range: Short to Mid 0-10m Rank: B This jutsu utilizes water to attack the enemy with a powerful water burst in the form of a shark.
Suiton: Suiryudan no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Dragon Blast Technique) Type: Offensive Range: All Ranges Rank: B Using this jutsu, the user creates a huge current of water in the form of a serpentine dragon and directs it towards a target. The water used to create the dragon must be present to perform the technique. This technique requires 54 hand seals to perform, more than five times that of almost every other jutsu in the series.
Suiton: Koku no Jutsu (Water Release: Black Rain Technique) Type: Offensive Range: Short to Mid 0-10m Rank: C This jutsu creates a flammable black mist that forms a small cloud. The user can then move the cloud above their target and disperse it, covering the target in flammable oil.
Suiton: Goshokuzame (Water Release: Five Eating Sharks) Type: Offensive Range: Short 0-5m Rank: A This jutsu is used when an opponent is knocked into water. From the water, five sharks are created and used to attack the opponent. |

| History: Birth&Childhood: Karei was born to the village of hidden stone. His father was a veteran shinobi who beat his mother and spent all of their money on sake and 'cheap entertainment'. Karei never quite understood why his mother could never look straight at him, or why she screamed in the middle of the night and ran from his father. He spent his life in the basement of a home with little food and no idea of what was going on. It was there that he discovered art. In the basement there was a large storage of clay from when Karei's mother had once been a sculpture. He began to sculpt statues of clay, making everything he could think of. He would make animals he saw through the small window to the basement, chairs, boxes, once he even made his own foot. Karei was given the honor of being able to see his grandparents once a month, that was the only time he left the basement except for when his father was so drunk he couldn't make his own instant ramen. Karei would grow to hate that word, 'honor'. His father used it all the time, for anything that he let Karei do. It was an honor to live under his house, to eat his food, to be called his son, to see his family. Karei hated honor. He found nothing pleasing about it. This was how he lived the first ten years of his life, the neglect stunting his growth immensely. One day, he decided to run like hell. He opened the window, crawled out, and ran. He ran past the borders of the village and continued onward. Tripping on the edge of a canyon, he fell down and blacked out. When he woke up he remembered nothing, not even why there were hands on his palms or his own name. He was soon discovered by a traveling sage who healed him and sent him to the hidden stone village. During the time it took for him to come back his father had died of a heart attack three days after he beat his wife to death. Karei wouldn't learn this, the only thing that this meant to him was that he wasn't going to be claimed.
Joining the Genin: Karei entered the ninja academy around the same age as most graduated because of his unfortunate history. Luckily, he was developed to the point where he was able to pass the exam and learn everything he had to rather quickly. He passed and was placed in a team with genin who were all younger than him by three years. However, due to his past neglect, he looked younger than them. They got along well, helping each other to grow and feel welcomed and accepted. This was especially important to Karei who had no family or friends before this. He had kept quiet and alone all through the academy, so he didn't make friends there. The only friend he had before his squad was the sage who had saved him and disappeared randomly. They began to do missions even higher than a genin team should, and were very successful. Due to the newly discovered clay techniques that Karei had learned to use, their team was nearly unstoppable. It was around then that he discovered his love for clay and art in general. He began to grow and mature, finding his love for all beauty and peace of mind. He knew he didn't need to grow any stronger or climb the ranks because he was fine the way he was. However, his squad wanted to join the Chuunin exam. So, that is exactly what they did. They all passed and became Chuunin, with two other shinobi from different villages.
The squad becomes stronger: Karei's squad was even more powerful than they were before. Having done B-ranked missions as genin, they were doing A-ranked missions as Chuunin. They rarely ever failed a mission, except for the one time. They were supposed to guard cargo as it was transported to the hidden leaf village. Except that on the way, Karei's teammate accidentally set off one of his land mines and blew the cart to pieces. They all laughed and went out to dinner, but made Karei's teammate pay as punishment. They grew and became known all around Iwagakure as a legendary team. However, one day directly before the beginning of the Jounin exam, Karei would come back to the village with bad news. The weakest of the four, a boy named Aku, died during their mission. They held a memorial for him, skipping the Jounin exams. The next year they would pass the Jounin exam together, and join their sensei in the elites. After they became Jounin they would part ways. His old sensei joined the ANBU, the only female of the group becoming a full-time medical ninja, and himself taking on the kage himself as a new sensei. The kage taught him to use earth ninjutsu like he had never used it before, and make it art. When the kage passed away, Karei would take over his position. |
