Personality: Aiko is a very quiet person. She is shy, detached, and almost always confused. She enjoys holding arguments with herself, but will never argue with someone else. When confronted, she is more likely to run or let someone else fight for her. She is a strong believer in loving, not fighting, and is always willing to lend a helping hand. However, she will usually try to do this in ways that people won't notice to avoid bringing attention to herself. She never speaks up, never stands up for herself, and usually just lets people push her around. After quite a few years of this, she has developed an extremely low self-esteem. This causes her to be extremely sensitive to insults, and put herself down an awful lot. She isn't very confident, but she is obedient and loyal.

History:
Aiko was born on the day of her mother's and father's death. Her father was killed during a mission that he was forced to take, and her mother died during labor. She had been born early, so the father would never know that she was even born. Aiko was instantly shipped off to her grandparents in the Lightning country. However, they were old and frail. They would soon die together in their sleep, holding each other's hands as they passed on painlessly and most likely without even knowing it. Aiko was told she could be adopted, but she refused. She didn't want to move anymore, so she was allowed to live alone in the house of her grandparents. Occasionally an adult would check on her, and her neighbors would always bring her meals. The village nearby, Kumogakure no Sato, offered her acceptance into the Ninja academy for free. Obviously she would take the offer and learn to become a shinobi like her grandfather had said her father was.

RP Sample:

Aiko fell to the ground as the larger girl shoved her, taking her onigiri from her hands. Rice grains scattered around her as the girl crushed the onigiri, opening her clenched fist and throwing the rest of the rice at her. Tears began to stream down Aiko's cheeks, her body racking with sobs as a sharp pain shot through her bleeding knee. There were no teachers on the playground that day, so it was fair game. The girl laughed and called her a nasty word she had probably heard from her sailor father. Covering her head and sobbing, Aiko listened to the taunts and insults coming from the bigger girl. Suddenly, she heard a cracking noise. Looking up, she saw another girl her age standing over her with her fists balled. When she sat up and grabbed her knee she saw that the bigger girl was a few steps back, holding her jaw. Aiko watched wide-eyed as the new girl fought to bigger girl for her.

The little girl was fierce and fast for a ninja-in-training, he kicked and punched at the bigger girl when a normal girl would scratch and bite. Aiko instantly recognized the girl. She was from her grade, the top of the class in taijutsu.
