Newborn

A new baby had just been born as the only child of Saruno, and Ryu, it was a female with dark redish pink hair, she was then named Hikari, also known as light.

Hikari was around 1 at the time and learned to walk very quickly, she began walking more steadily and carefully with each step she took.

Around the age of 3 she began wanting to be more like her father and mother who were Ninjas, she was very intelligent and had great balance so she would begin runing, though a little wobbly.

Hikari was now 6, walking down the hallway of the office, she heard footsteps coming her way, she quickly hid behind a large plant on the ground in a pot, though she wasn't hidden very well, she hoped she wouldn't be seen. There were 2 Sunagakure ninja that walked by, they looked down at her as they walked bye but stayed silent and only talked to each other quietly, Hikari looked up at them with her red eyes as she held the rim of the plant pot, being really short, and a lot shorter then them, she had to look up pretty far. Until they were gone she stood still there, she watched as they went to the back of the hall and turned the corner out of sight, she then walked out from behind it and stood in the middle of the hallway looking back at their direction for a few seconds, she then turned around quickly and started running the opposite direction.

Walking down the hall, with a slight yawn, Ryu walked by a few plants nearby the one Hikari had been behind, and slowly began to use her chakra to create a small crystal flower in her hand, shimmering in the light -- it was beautiful. It was so well designed, that all of the petals look real in detail, but the crystal's colour was a blue-ish colour, ranging from baby blue, to a light violet. Ryu's hair was clipped at the back of her head, her hair a natural white, her skin tanned, and her outfit consisted of blue denim shorts, with a black belt, with a large buckle, and a white collared top with a black tie, that had a few large white polka-dots on it. Her eyes were a blood-red colour, and in her hand was a small clipboard, with a few missions on pieces of paper that she had to give to her fiance, Saruno.

Hikaru stopped running at an instant standing there looking at her mother that was in the hallway now in front of her but at a distance, wearing a small black one piece skirt like outfit with no sleeves, and a black lite scarp type cloth on her neck that hung down split behind her, her hair was in 2 really long braids that went down behind her. she ran behind another pot and held the rim of the pot with her small fragile hands, she crouched down a little and peaked over it as her mother stood there

Saruno was doing his paperwork at his desk in his office, hearing a few footsteps just outside of it. His 200' tower was nearly inaccessible to anyone outside of his family. But, a thing was a thing. They were allowed in, no matter what happened. Ryu was his wife, and Hikari his daughter. A happy family. He smiled at the thought some, moving papers around as he wrote various words and letters down on the papers, approving things, denying things, everything. The papers moved fast because of his focused mind on his work. Being behind on papers was a nuisance, so he had to do it daily. Hospital forms, ninja release forms, everything imaginable came through the Raikage, Him. Hearing the footsteps of his beloved come closer to his door, he simply looked up from his paperwork, seeing what else was going to go on today. Interesting things, or not, it was still going to be something.

Ryu gently yawned again, for she had just woken up. It was early in the morning, around nine o'clock. Ryu looked at the plants behind her, and noticing locks of pink, she gently smiled, putting the clipboard under her arm, and moving to the plant and kneeling to Hikari's level. "Hi, honey. Do you want to see daddy, or do you want to go for a walk around the tower?" Ryu gently smiled, placing her slender hand on Hikari's shoulder, and with a simple motion, she kissed her daughter on a cheek, like a caring mother would and brushed Hikari's stray locks behind her ear.

Hikari looked at her mother as she crouched down eye to eye with her, her mother was much taller then her at the time as Hikari only stood around a few feet tall, she was very short for her age at this time and looked very delicate but serious. Hikari looked at her mother from behind the pot and walked out slowly, looking at her she stayed completely quiet, not answering the question she asked, she wanted to remain quiet and not let anyone know what she was up to.

Saruno turned back to his paperwork as he yawned just a little calmly, his head nodded a little bit as he felt a bit tired. Being up for 4 nights straight, even after something special had come up. Something special, he hadn't known about for a while, but, he'll start to remember it soon enough. Laying his pen down, he set his arms in a cross motion on his desk, putting his head in between them, his eyes resting themselves. "Mmm..." he mumbled to himself a little as he was falling only so lightly asleep. Being tired, bored, and waiting, made him think. What was his true purpose? Even he didn't know.

The girl in her arms was still a child, fragile, and a wish come true. Six years had her husband and her been engaged, for they didn't have time to plan their marriage. They first decided on a child before their wedding, to make sure they had no holdbacks against their love. Ryu was the first mother in Kumogakure, and Saruno the first father for two years. Ryu's slender hands wrapped more tightly around Hikari, as she gently picked her child up by the waist, and raised her onto her shoulders, holding onto her legs. Looking upwards, she smiled at Hikari, looking at the time. They grew up too fast, she couldn't even keep track of how fast her daughter changed. Ryu was a young mother, considering she didn't age, though she had lived for thirty years.

Slowly, Ryu changed thoughts, a happy mother, to a now depressed one. Her eyes watered slightly. Her family had only just started, but would the couple divorce, or would Hikari become an orphan? Ryu remembered about her life, how she changed it. She would stay with her family, even if it meant death. She would protect her daughter and husband if she had to. Her most reinforced, to protect her daughter, no matter what. Her nindo, changed. -- "I will protect my family, even if I need to go above the clouds. As long as my family is safe, I will always, and eternally, be happy."

Hikari sat in her arms as she held her, seeing tears come to her mothers eyes, she placed her small soft hand on her eye slightly under it where the tears were coming out, feeling the warm water, she still looked small but serious looking into the eyes of her mother eye to eye.
