Maikeru VS Maneki, battle of water (off rpg dm)

Maikeru strolls towards the lake pondering if he should learn a new technique. As he reaches the lake, he sits at its bank and looks over the surface. The lake was as calm as glass, and hardy a ripple showed. He saw a fish somewhere down the bank and as it darted away, he knew something was amiss. Indeed, he felt the water in the air shift, a tell tale sign of a water ninja. He hurridley got up and looked around. There! Off in the trees some distance behind him was a shadow. He quickly dashed backward onto the lake, barely keeping his balance as his chakra took hold of the water.
"Show yourself! Only a Coward hides behind shadows!"

Maneki who was napping a tree with a lakeside view was suddenly woken up by someone yelling for him to come out of the tree. Maneki stood up and immediately feel out of the tree due to his legs being asleep. Maneki then got up and dusted himself off. He then walked over to the water and saw a guy standing in the middle of it. Maneki had heard that someone could walk on water with the help of chakra. Since he didnot know how to do the technique he put his hand into the water and sent his chakra all around the late so he could walk on the waters surface without effort but he knew the other guy wouldn't realize this and would waste chakra on staying floating. Maneki took a step onto the water and said "Hello im maneki why did you wake me from my relaxing nap?" Maneki then waited for his answer.

Maikeru was suprised when the shadow fell out of the tree and walked over to him. The first glance told him that this kid probably wasnt that powerful, and yet this didnt put him at ease. Something had made the water vapor shift, and by the way the kid touched the water then walked on it, he certainly knew water. He was also suprised when the kid innocently asked why he had been woken from his nap. Obviously a ruse.
"Its not my problem if you nap on the job, if your here to fight me youve got more than youve bargained for. And if your here to spy on me your not doing a good job. And who are you anyways? You hardly look powerful enough to be sent to spy on someone. Although i must admit, you are good at staying in character even when found out. So why are you here? Im not one who likes to be stalked!"

Maneki became confused due to the weird questions the guy was asking. Maneki began to reply to them in orderly manor. First he said " well ill have you know I'm not napping on the job an if i was that would probably be bad." To the 2ed question he replied " i was only here to take a nap at a place with a great lake view and i take offense to being called a stalker." Maneki then said "well since im up already how about we have a little fight as payback for waking me up." After saying that Maneki preformed a hand seal and his two swords started to float around him. Maneki then stuck his hand out causing a sword to appear in it.

Name: Hyōrinmaru

Appearance: This swords is thousands of centuries old yet not a scratch can be seen on it. It has the basic template of a sword there is little difference is this sword compared to others. Beside it's Blue Sheath for some Strange reason this sword uses a blue aura no matter which element is used with it. There have been times when the aura has turned black and the sword began to crack but this sword can easily be remade when water is near. Little is known about this swords creator or it's purpose.

Abilities:Genin are usually unable to concentrate chakra into a weapon but the sword has the power to allow a genin to do so.If the genin started to run low on chakra the swords aura turns black increasing its power.Sword has a 2ed form that can be used when at jonin level.

nfo:This swords origin is unknown.Steve found this sword. It was buried 5 feet below his house. He had found this sword the exact same day a crater was formed after he sparred with his father before being badly injured. He he turned around he saw an object responding to his Chakra as he went to check up on it he found a sword with a large chakra supply of his own. The reason for this large amount of chakra is a seal placed on the sword. In Fact the only way to unleash this seal is to generate a large amount of chakra more than placed on the seal and from there release it this seal may have hidden it's abilities or many greater things what's hidden is currently unkown.

Info:The mizu blade is a sword that was made by the first member of the mizu clan.It is passed down every generation to the first born of the new generation.

Abilities: To use the Keyblade, Maneki summons upon the blade at will. Within seconds, the blade will appear in his dominate hand. If he gets seperated from the blade, the blade will disappear and then re-appear back in his hand. By channeling his chakra through the blade, this blade can pierce through almost anything. Even though this blade is considered the weakest of the Keyblades, it seems to be the most mysterious of the blades, so most of its abilities still yet remain unknown. Although, if someone else tries to infuse their chakra through the blade, the Keyblade will reject it and nothing will happen.

History: Maneki received this sword well on a mission. He was send to escort an old sword maker back to his small town. When he arrived back he noticed that maneki was a swordsmen. He said to maneki "thank you for getting me here safely wait here i have a gist fro you." Maneki waited there for about 2 minutes and the guy then walked out with a big sword. He then said to maneki "take the sword if you can use your chakra with it its meant to be yours." Maneki started to channel his chakra into the blade and got ready to try it out. He went up to a tree and slashed it with little effort. It then completely cut the tree down. The man then said "you are the swords true owner the sword is now a part of you. It will disappear if you don't want to use it and will reappear in your had if you concentrate and it is separated from you it will disappear and reappear in your hand." He then said "go and use the sword wisely." Maneki decided to stop using the sword and it disappeared, He then went back to the village.

Maikeru was obviously taken aback by the swords, apparant by the look the guy was giving (calling him kid seemed innappropriate now) and decided that it was fight or die time. Well if its a sword fight this guy wants then so be it.
"Suiton! Mizu Katana!"
At that water from the lake came up towards his hand, and once it reached it, it shaped itself into a sword.
"Suiton! Mizu Tate no Jutsu!"
Water again started to rise, except this time it surrounded Maikeru like armor, and glistened very much like a mirror.

"Your not the only one who knows his way around a blade, and though yours may be more... Flashy then mine, water doesnt dull. And as for your call to battle, I HEARTILY AGREE!"

And with that, Maikeru lept towards the Stranger(.. what was his name again... Maneki?) and fiented towards the left side.... then swung towards the head....

Maneki watched the guys movements. He watched the guy go to the left side. He moved one of his sword to the left side and blocked the water blade. Maneki then send his ice sword above the guys head and fired it out of the blade and its speed was even greater thanks to the help of wind chakra.

Maikeru obviously didnt see that coming, able to control all three swords indepenently? Maikeru hardly had time to dodge the guys second sword and jump back. This guy obviously was skilled, and Maikeru have foolishly taunted him into a battle... how unlike him. Well all that was left to do is analyze and evade... but of course Maikeru needed to see how that third sword worked... so he did something drastic.

"Good form, but can you block this?"

Maikeru threw his water blade at the Guy, knowing it would disolve a few seconds after hitting him, but he had to see how that third sword worked...

Maneki saw the guy throw his sword at him after dodging the attacks. Maneki decided to show off one of his jutsus to stop the attack. Using his free hand maneki gathered chakra into it. Maneki then sliced his hand at the water blade hitting it with the wind blast before it could reach him. The blast then continued at the guy. Maneki then lifted his hand into the air and water from the lake was lifted up. Maneki then turned the water into the form of a dragon and then fired it at the guy, Maneki knew that with both of thos attack heading at him the guy was gonna have a lot of trouble dodging.

Description: Suiryuudan no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Element. The ninja does a long string of hand seals which then causes a column of water in the form of a dragon to rise from the water and then strike their target.

Maikeru knew that his plan had failed the moment the guy moved his hand rather than his sword, and he knew that this was not gonna be an easy attack to repel... so it may as well be time.

Maikeru, probably unnoticed, did a series of handsigns no ninja not from his clan would recognize.

Maneki saw some mysterios force block the water dragon but suddenly manekis wind jutsu hit the guy. The guy was cut in half from the blast which he could have dodged. Maneki said a brief prayer and then left.

(off topic: i guess i have to finish this to truly complete it)

Maikeru gasped as the wind hit him, he assumed the dragon was more important of an attack, and failed to block, or dodge, the wind... and he had paid for it. As the last breath he would ever take left his lips, his only thought was of how he had failed the Mira clan....
