~General Information~Name: Yoko Yasumi
Nickname/Alias: N/A
Weight: 35.3 Kg.
Height: 5' 3"
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Appearance: Yoko has a very odd and distinct appearance to her face, body and clothing that others would find morbidly distracting. Unlike most ninja and kunoichi who prefer the dark and dull colors to their gear in order to support the idea of camoflauge, she has taken advantage of a vast tapestry of colors to assort her own special clothing into a variety of colors and hues.
Her torso is wonderfully wrapped in a multi-colored black, red, and royal blue color, her waist being tightly bound by an orange sash of sorts. The chestpiece itself contains the colors red and blue, shoulderpads reflecting the black origin of colors. Her arms are bound at the forearm with black leather-like fabric that shift into an edgy violet color as a protective layer for her hands, rounding her knuckles off with solid gold knuckle braces, in according a count of five on both hands for her five fingers. From the center of her back lays a candy cane-looking rope that connects to the back of the shirt where the tip of her spinal cord would be found, and creates a link to the area just above the orange sash that was mentioned earlier. The chestpiece spoken of in the beginning of this paragraph further elongates to the mid-thigh, where the shirt would be typically sorted as a tabard or improper kimono.
Her hair is a two-tone embrace that utilizes a dark purple that evidentally shifts into a lighter violet ending. This is due to some type of special water that Yoko carries around inside of a backpack. The water is infused with a liquidy substance found only in the Land of Rice Patties, just outside of a hot-springs inn. Her hair is practically short, and comes down the sides of her face in a hinata-like fashion. Her skin has a sensationally bright glow to it that makes anything she touches and wears appear to have a very low but concentrated cyan light being shone from it. This will be explained later in the decription of her kekkei genkai.
Personality: A medical ninja in training that uses the Yasumi clan's notorious 'Molecular Swarm Technique' to assist in delicate procedures, as they can operate precisely on a scale that even the finest surgeon cannot. She typically is known to dislike unnecessary confrontations, and the illogical, impulsive type of person that tends to bring them about. She prefers to maintain things and keep order quietly in a logical, efficient manner.
Seemingly cold and distant, she takes everything seriously and at face value. She can be incredibly critical and merciless of others in a most blunt manner because she has set high standards for everybody, herself, family and dearest friends included.
~Clan Information~Clan Name: Yasumi
Kekkei Genkai: The Yasumi are known throughout the world as elite surgeons, medical ninja, and elite medical drones. The term 'drone' in the Yasumi clan is traditionally known as an elite medical warrior, someone who thinks and reacts quickly with haste, progression, and utilizes both healing techniques and virtually enhanced medical combatant techniques in the midst of combat to overcome the opponent with strategy and cunning, rather than with brute strength and cowardice.
Although the Yasumi are capable of performing explicit miracles on people outside of their clan, literally channeling enough medical chi into the body of a dead person, though it would take a supreme X-Rank Kage in order to do so, to bring them back to life, although they will have an impervious case of permanent amnesia further decreasing the effectiveness of the technique into the credit of its vast abilities, and the Kage would have a lower life expectancy of about 10 years (30% reduction) -- Their specialized healing jutsu's effectiveness are decreased over 100% when they try to perform it on their own bodies, as well as the bodies of other Yasumi clan members. This is the cause of a unique bodily structure that was designed by the creator of the clan to ensure that the clan would not become too powerful, and decide to wage war against each other in the desperation of dominance, for a ninja who could do both paralyze an enemy, and fully heal themselves all in the same amount of time could be more than just lethal in combat. Overall, it was used as an invention for the clan's survival, instead of their downfall.
This flaw however is what influenced the effeciency of the Yasumi's elite medical combat techniques and jutsu. In order to compensate for the loss of a one-hundreth percentile decrease in the effectiveness of their passive healing techniques when being performed on themselves, they were graced with the capability of honing the worlds most feared and flawless medical combat Taijutsu style, known as "致死注射の姿勢", roughly translated into the 'Lethal Injection Pose'. With this immaculate combatant form, the user than inject not only deadly poisons, but molecular weapons into the body of their enemies, both severing the internal organs and/or paralyzing a chosen part of the enemy for a given time upon contact. Keep in mind, the use of either of these techniques can only be utilized when the hand, or any other part of the body capable of creating a forceful impact is in direct contact with any part on the enemy body. This form cannot be mastered until the mid-stages of Chunin level.
Another odd but useful technique the Yasumi Elder's created were the use of millions of small summonable insects, virtually unseeable with the human eye without focusing roughly. They do however have a type of chakra that is used effectively and justifiable when the time is right. Just like the Mushi Kokuou, a gigantic centipede-like creature that represents the very essence and power of the clan which will be explained furthermore, they have probosces that also excrete an healing salve, allowing it to assist allies as directed. However, as the salve is also a potent anaesthetic, it can cause paralysis when used in excess and be employed in a lethal spit or bite. Although the potency of this solvent is considerably lower than the solvent contained by the Mushi Kokuou, it can be equally compared when in the midst of facing nearly a thousand of these molecular creatures. Judging in accordance to how many bugs are summoned will determine the chakra usage that is required. These calculations must and will be rational depending on the amount chosen.
Now, as promised, the description and capability of the Mushi Kokuou can now be released. This massive creature cannot be summoned until the rank of Jounin is acquired by the user. Mushi Kokuou is an exclusive S-Rank summoning technique that is only given to those that the Yasumi Elder's deem worthy to possess. (This process must be role-played out in order for the character to possess this jutsu). This gigantic milipede is roughly 15 meters long, simplified into an eye-popping 45 feet. Its weight would considerably match the weight of 6 fully grown African elephants, which are typically known to be around 8 tons each, making this creature an earth-shattering 46 tons. The Mushi Kokuou is an ancient ally of the Yasumi clan during its formative years and progenitor of the "Molecular Swarm". Its armored hide and considerable girth, along with its multifaceted tendrils makes it an invaluable ally in land combat. Its probosces also excrete an healing salve, allowing it to assist allies as directed. However, as the salve is also a potent anesthetic, it can cause paralysis when used in excess and be employed in a lethal spit or bite, and as mentioned before, this solvent is at least 20% more effective in lethality and healing pastures than the simple molecular creatures that are summoned. At the rank of Kage however, the solvent is further increased to a virtually impervious 50% Tpl. (TPL can be translated from a unicode form into "Toxins per liter.") The direct injection of this amount of potent toxin would kill a human being in less than 3 hours. (In role-play this would practically match the analysis of about four posts from the injection. The posts will be universally divided.)

~Jutsu~Name: Lethal Injection Pose
Rank: -
Element: Kekkei Genkai
Description: In order to compensate for the loss of a one-hundreth percentile decrease in the effectiveness of their passive healing techniques when being performed on themselves, they were graced with the capability of honing the worlds most feared and flawless medical combat Taijutsu style, known as "", roughly translated into the 'Lethal Injection Pose'.
Name: Body Flicker Technique
Rank: D
Element: General Skill
Description: This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance and elevation between the user and their intended destination. Shisui Uchiha was feared as "Shisui of the Body Flicker" (瞬身のシスイ, Shunshin no Shisui), likely referring to this technique.
The Body Flicker Technique has various variations among the different hidden villages, all of which involve some extra element aside from the movement itself. The extra element is usually some sort of substance used to distract the opponent, such as leaves or sand. Gaara, for instance, uses the Sand Body Flicker (砂瞬身, Suna-Shunshin), which uses sand to cover his movements. Other varieties include the Mist Body Flicker (霧瞬身, Kiri-Shunshin), Water Body Flicker (水瞬身, Mizu-Shunshin), and Leaf Body Flicker (木ノ葉瞬身, Konoha-Shunshin). A has also combined the Body Flicker Technique with his Lightning Release Armor to dodge even the Amaterasu in a split second.
Name: Molecular Swarm Technique
Rank: C
Element: Kekkei Genkai
Description: Another odd but useful technique the Yasumi Elder's created were the use of millions of small summonable insects that can only be roughly seen through a 40X Magnified microscope, making them virtually unseeable with the human eye. However, as the salve is also a potent anesthetic, it can cause paralysis when used in excess and be employed in a lethal spit or bite. Judging in accordance to how many bugs are summoned will determine the chakra usage that is required. These calculations must and will be rational depending on the amount chosen.
Name: Chakra Scalpel
Rank: -
Element: Supplementary
Description: This medical technique forms one's chakra into a small, sharp blade. This can then be used for highly accurate incisions necessary for surgeries and anatomical dissections. Unlike regular scalpels, the Chakra Scalpel can actually make cuts inside the body without actually creating an open wound, limiting the risks of an infection.
The Chakra Scalpel can also be used offensively, although it requires great precision to be effective. Because of this requirement, using the Chakra Scalpel offensively is highly unusual. In heated combat, even the greatest medical-nin won't be able to exert the precision needed to make fatal cuts, but it can still effectively cut muscle tissues and tendons, rendering the target immobile. Due to the enhanced medical-combat training within the Lethal Injection Pose, this jutsu's basic power is increased incoherently. This makes it so that this scalpel can not only make open wounds, but if hit with by enough force, can completely sever the body parts of their enemy.
Name: Medical Ninja-Mode
Rank: -
Element: Supplementary
Description: This mode envelops the user in a flowing blue chakra and allows them to constantly heal themselves in the midst of battle while at the same time boosting their strength and speed. Only Shizune and Sakura Haruno have been shown to use it. Though one would think that Tsunade and Kabuto Yakushi must be able to use it as well, they use their own unique, more advanced versions of constant healing, which include Creation Rebirth and Secret Healing Wound Destruction respectively. Over time, Medical Mode consumes the user's chakra until it finally wears off by itself, though the user or, more specifically, Sakura, can cancel it whenever she wishes. Shizune, however, does not hold such control over the technique. A furthermore enhanced opposition of this ability is how the user can transfer the effects and channel the flowing chakra onto the body of an ally. If not, he/she chooses to keep it on themselves, the effects are incredibly reduced, but they are atleast still something.
Name: Strengthening Prescription: Chakra Injection
Rank: -
Element: Supplementary
Description: This jutsu creates dark snakes that forcibly connect with a person and inject them with medically altered chakra. This extra chakra will allow the user to utilize high level element ninjutsu. It also allows the user to use elemental techniques that they wouldn't be able to master normally.
Name: Chakra Enhanced Strength
Rank: -
Element: General Skill
Description: This is a jutsu in which the user focuses precise chakra control into their hands or feet and releases it with pinpoint timing, which greatly enhances their strength. Tsunade created the concept of this jutsu to intimidate enemies and keep them at bay while she healed injured ninja.
The training for this technique is quite arduous, as Tsunade repeatedly came at Sakura with full power to help her learn. Despite this, the outcome of this training is incredible, giving the user enough strength to easily make gigantic craters or kill opponents with single strikes. Combined with the Lethal Injection Pose, the user of these abilities becomes an essential contributor to the true meaning of "lethal".
History/Background Story:
Birth, Found Grace:
When Yoko was born, the villages were induced within a great war between the main five villages. Ensuring her own survival, her mother took the deepest care of her, wrapped her into a blanket, put her into a basket and allowed her body to float downstream inside of the container. Her father was not able to see what her mother had done, because he was currently fighting in the war. Formerly, they were a happy family, and things seemed perfect until the attack from Konoha took place, completely devastating the village of Sunagakure. The Sand Village's ally, The Rice Patty village, came up within the war ranks as a defensive and offensive friend, providing an incredible increase in skilled ninja within the boundaries of Sunagakure, assassinating a multitude number of Konoha Jounin, and even Genin if the situation had called for it. Better to be safe, than sorry later on.
About two days after she was sent downstream, a woman named Chiyo took Yoko in her arms and cared for her as her mother. Ensuring the emotional safety of Yoko throughout her life, Chiyo decided to never speak of how Yoko was discovered to her. However, due to her clan's containment of vast knowledge and comprehensive capacity, she was able to complete sentences and speak like a normal five-year old girl by the age of one. Chiyo, having a revelation and evaluating the dangers and determining the prognosis of the situation, she gave Yoko to a very close friend of hers named Augoror. Augoror is the Emperor of the Amarr Empire. The largest of the empires in the world of Naruto, Amarr spans 40% of the inhabited areas near The Mist Village. The Amarr Emperor is the head of a ritualistic, authoritarian imperial state, and below him are the Five Heirs, the heads of the five royal families from which a new Emperor is chosen. The Emperor's authority is unquestioned and absolute, but the archaic and bureaucratic system of government makes it difficult for him to exert his rule unless directly in person. Otherwise, the Five Heirs rule in his name, dividing the huge empire between them.
The Emperor and the Five Heirs can expect to live for at least 500 years. Extensive cyber-implants keep their frail bodies alive, even when their organs begin to fail. These cyber-enhancements date back many millennia, and have become a symbol of royal divinity in the eyes of the Amarrians. Always a deeply religious people, religion remains of great importance to every Amarrian, a fervour which at various times has been responsible both for great good and great evil. Shortly after recovering from the closure of the war against Konoha, they began to expand their realm at the expense of neighbouring states. The nations they conquered were enslaved, a practice justified by their religion. Ever since, the Amarrians have enslaved every nation and race they have encountered, and today slavery is an essential part of Amarr society. This has, of course, tainted their relations with other races, especially the individualistic Gallenteans, also known as Ninja from the Cloud Village.
With great prodigy, Yoko became the Princess of the Amarr Empire, and one of the five heir's.
Princess-Like Academic Training:
With Willpower being the highest trait, and Intelligence the second highest, there is no field in which a Liberal Holder will excel in beyond the other bloodlines within the Amarr. Strong willpower is handy when training with or against people much more powerful than you, and they have the charisma to back it up. The Amarrian, even their women including the Princess and Queen, are taught to never give up or show pain, no matter how badly it may truly hurt. This explains why most of their bodies are scarred with lash marks, even if they weren't born into a life of slavery - Although the bodies of the slaves of the Amarr are far more worse than the appearance of the True Amarrian's. They can also train for flying rickety ships that are
just capable of getting off of the ground rather quickly. Science, Engineering and Electronics are also amongst their strong points. They're not very good with training Drones and you definitely don't want one training in the branch of Corporation Management.
Yoko was a direct impact to the current society of the Amarr Empire with her vast knowledge and supreme willpower, it easily excelled over the rest of her peers during her time spent in the Academy. While others were crying and whaling in pain due to their mandatory beatings, Yoko would simply ask for more. This astounded her teachers and she became an icon in the future of the Amarr Royal Family. Although not many know of the Amarr due to them being so far off of the map, surrounded by a cascade of storming skies, withering waves, and land pools capable of complete devastation, there are however legends of their boundless power that slowly reach around the ears of outsiders from time to time. Yoko was granted the highest bloodline implant once she graduated, having it be given to her by the Emperor, and "father-figure" of hers himself. Augoror took her arm in hand, and implanted the Yasumi bloodline genetic DNA into her body. Once the ceremony was completed however, she walked away - simply brushing him and everyone else off. This was actually a sign of respect, instead of disrespect in the Amarr empire. This ensured that she was worthy and ready enough to be a Queen. Yoko, however, did not want that lifestyle. She had other plans, in fact..
Genin Life, The Rebellion:
In the Amarr Empire, it was against the laws of the city to go outside of the boundaries of the Empire walls. This was an act of complete and utter punishment that could make the antagonist suffer grievous measures. Yoko however, being of Amarr Royalty as a Princess in the Royal Family, had access to divisionary outputs beyond the walls of the Empire, therefore granting her the very right to breach the security status unnoticed. Knowing this, she left her home and joined an olden Empirion that was settled after enduring harsh slavery by the Amarrian's.
The Khanids were fellow settlers alongside the Amarrians in Athra, better known today as Amarr Prime, or Shibuki. During the height of the Amarr Reclaiming the Khanid's were swept up and merged into the growing Amarr nation. The Khanid's proved themselves as valuable allies to the Amarrians from day one and have ever since held exalted status within the Empire, with only a handful of them ever actually having to endure slavery. The name Khanid was give to the Khanid chiefs by the Amarrians. It means "little lord" or "lordling"; an affectionate term given to a cherished friend. The name stuck to the nation as a whole at some point and even after the Khanid domain was granted to one of the great Amarr Holder families, the family adopted the Khanid name as their own, winning the hearts of the Khanid people over in the process. Yoko joined the elite Khanid covert op forces that were similar to the ANBU, but much more advanced with technological machinery within their boundaries, such as rapid-fire shuriken and kunai launchers and even large thrusting bombs that would fire a detonated beam of exploding tags that activate in five seconds after launching. This would mean that the force these tags are sent out is extremely fast and extremely accurate, granting them devastating force upon contact.
Yoko was signed into the Conundrum, the group within the Khanid Empire that had the most sufficient and powerful ground fighters of this time. The warrior lifestyle of the Khanidian Conundrum males from ancient times has made its mark on the Khanid society. The Khanidian female is used to run the household on her own, making her independent and resourceful. Used to make her own decisions, the Khanidian female lets no one domineer her and is very much the mistress of her own destiny. Long before the Amarr Empire took to the sky the Khanidian males were recognized as the best ground fighters in the Empire. During the Reclaiming Khanid warriors were at the forefront in the subjugation of the Ealurians, the Ni-Kunnis and the Minmatars. Though physical stature and bravery counts for less today, many Khanid males and females keep up the warrior tradition. As mentioned, many Khanid's want to keep their warrior traditions alive, but the only way to do so in the modern world is through massive body enhancements. The extensive knowledge on cyber implants possessed by the Amarrian's is just the thing they need. Some still aim to excel in physical combat, while the more progressive ones seek to become masters of modern warfare. This is the inspiration that Yoko needed in order to command the Conundrum Division to initiate their strike upon the walls of the Amarr Empire.
Advanced Genin Life, The Infiltration:
A month after the disappearance of the Amarrian Princess, Yoko, she initiated a surprise attack on the far corners of the walls that she discovered to be most useful for their own personal breaching. Destroying the South Gate unnoticed granted them a swift entrance and extremely great advantage in the battle. The Conundrum moved in first, acting as a potential Marine-based fighting squad to eliminate the beginning and mid-forces of the Amarr. Within the walls, death was inevitable. Within a few hours, nearly 20,000 Amarr soldiers died, while a mere 500 or so Khanid had fallen. Once nearly 45% of their forces had been whiped out, the Corvien Khanid moved in. The Corvien Khanid were air-force comptrollers that natural patrolled the skies of the Khanid Empire, which is something the Amarr had never even thought twice about doing due to their prideful ways, believing their kunai, shuriken, and ninja who held them were powerful enough to withstand any type of physical measurements. With these massive battleships in the air, they fired all of their artillery at once, after being given the command by Yoko once all of the Khanid had left the premises. Consisting of over 500 Kunai and Shuriken Launchers, and an astounding 1,000 Tag Thrusters. Within a short ten minutes of bombardment, nearly 90% of the Amarr empire was destroyed. Buildings collapsed due to damage, the corpses and bodies of injured Amarr lay everywhere within the walls. Now that the forces of the Amarr were taken out, Yoko could move into the Amarr Throne Room. Expecting their arrival, Augoror had nearly 100 soldiers around the walls of the Throne Room, ready with weapons such as large executioner axes, whips, chains and the typical kunai. Hundreds of projectiles flew through the air, piercing the bodies of both races. Once they had stopped, the two charged into each other with compounding force. All that could be heard was the massive clinging of multitudes of weapons, screams from those being killed, and the buildings that were literally falling apart around them.
After an hour of increasingly damaging warfare, the Khanid had successfully breached the inner walls of the Throne Room. Yoko walked in with a large number of soldiers. Augoror peered upon the group and his eyes were immediately focused in the direction of Yoko. She had let out a slight smirk, raised her arms, and from the walls around them came a flowing wave of buzzing noises. Augoror knew what had happened, knowing he could do nothing to stop her, he still attempted to defeat her and her soldiers of the Khanid. Standing up, the Four Heir's aside him lept towards the forces of her ninja. Battle crowded the halls of the Throne Room. With her newly developed arm, and increasingly alarming speed, Yoko flew around the battle, while charging an alarming amount of chakra into her arm. Once reaching Augoror, she trusted an immaculate punch straight into his chest. She could feel the rib-bones crack against her fingers. The Four Heir's looked upon their fallen leader at the hands of such a child as they were all slain and eaten alive by both the Khanid's and the molecular bugs that Yoko had summoned. Yoko's fist had penetrated his chest, and she could feel his heart pumping aside her fist. With small breaths, he murmured into her ear.
"I should have killed you as an outsider on the day Chiyo granted me your soul.." She looked directly in his eyes, her hand completing a full grasp upon the man's fragile heart.
"Yes.. You should have.." He felt a small tug within his chest.
".. But you didn't." With that, the heart was ripped from his chest, rib bones flying out along with it. His body fell from the Throne and lay on the floor, lifeless. Holding the heart in her hand as a trophy, she took it to her mouth and bit into it, sucking a large portion of blood from the organ. This blood contained an ancient secret that Augoror had kept for hundreds of decades. The secret was a special jutsu that was used for explicit assassination using special kunai that could be formed from the very element Yoko possessed. Paralysis Solvent. She dropped the heart, as it became dust and shriveled up on the floor. The ashes floated in the air, since the walls of the Throne Room had been destroyed, the ashes corrupted the air within the Amarr Empire walls.
The attack, being successful, was a great accomplishment in her life, especially at such a young age. She returned to the boundaries of the Khanid. With great satisfaction of the Emperor of the Khanid, Maledi Xaviev, he allowed her to leave the Khanid walls with pride. Doing so, she traveled to the Stone Village to seek refuge, where she hoped the Tsuchikage would find asset and reason to.
Roleplay Sample:
The Earthmother's eyes shone down upon the lands she had breathed into creation. Her right eye, An'she (the sun), gave warmth and light to the land. Her left eye, Mu'sha (the moon), gave peace and sleep to the stirring creatures of the dawning. Such was the power of her gaze that the Earthmother closed one dreaming eye for every turning of the sky. Thus, her loving gaze turned day into night for the first dawning of the world.
While the right eye shone down upon the golden dawn, the Earthmother's gentle hands spread out across the golden plains. Wherever the shadow of her arms passed, a noble people arose from the rich soil. The Shu'halo arose to give thanks and prayer to their loving mother. There, in the endless fields of dawn, the children of the earth swore themselves to her grace and vowed to bless her name until the final darkening of the world.
Thus it was that the Shu'halo came into the world among the very mists that shrouded the dawn of creation.
For countless generations the Shu'halo served the Earthmother, caring for what had been made, hunting and slaying those minions of destruction and corruption that sought to unmake and mar the creation. Ten millennia past, when the corruption of the elves brought evil into the world, the Shu'halo were there. Wherever evil and corruption entered the world or lurked within it, the Shu'halo were there.
Then the day came when the centaur appeared. Children of chaos, cannibals and ravagers, the Centaur fell upon the Shu'halo in vast numbers, destroying all that stood in their path. They struck at the Shu'halo like a great wave, rolling over all they had made. Though they struggled, the Shu'halo were broken, driven from their ancestral homeland, hounded and stalked by hateful creatures intent on their complete annihilation.
The Shu'halo were scattered across the land, became nomads, constantly on the move, constantly battling for their survival. They roamed the grassy, open barrens of central Kalimdor for countless generations, hunting the mighty Kodos, skirmishing with their dogged pursuers, united only by a common oral tradition and their common hatred for the centaur.
That is how things stood a decade ago when refugee Orcs and Trolls - fleeing the shores of a far continent and pursued by a hateful enemy called the Alliance - landed on the shores of Kalimdor. Those refugees, badly equipped and exhausted, staggering ashore from what had been a torturous journey, saw the plight of the Tauren people and intervened, sacrificing their own lives for these people they didn't know.
Once they met, once tribesmen met clansmen and Shaman met Shaman, the Tauren people recognized the Orcs for what they were - Shu'halo, pure children of the Earthmother, sent to them in their need. No other people shared such a similar outlook on the world, no other people showed such selfless honor, no other people revered and understood the spirits of the world so well.
Thanks to the selfless efforts of the Darkspear Trolls and the Orcs, the Tauren of the Bloodhoof tribe were able to gather their might and perform their ancient duty. Together with these spiritual brothers, the Shu'halo marched upon Mt. Hyjal to once again meet the invading forces of the Burning Legion and cast them back into the Nether.
In the five years since those events, the world has changed for the Tauren people. The Orcs and Trolls settled into the land of Durotar. Cairne, leader of the Bloodhoof, was able to drive back the centaur and secure the grasslands of Mulgore as a permanent home for the Tauren. For the first time in millennia, the Tauren had a land to call their own. For this alone, they were forever indebted to their new brethren. Upon the windswept mesa of Thunder Bluff, Cairne built a refuge for his people, where Tauren of every tribe were welcome. Over time the scattered Tauren tribes united under Cairne's guidance.
The Shaman of the Tauren traveled widely, meeting frequently with the young shaman among the Orcs and Darkspear Trolls to provide counsel and support. Trolls and Orcs traveled among the Tauren, studying their ways, living among them As the three peoples mingled, the ties between them grew constantly stronger. The new Horde was formed, born of selfless honor, mutual respect, and a reverence for the spirits.
While Caern continues to preside over the gathering Tauren nation from their new capitol at Thunder Bluff, he is the first to admit that he is unusually old for a Tauren (he saw his one hundred and fourth summer this year), and the leadership of the Tauren may change very soon. Common wisdom hold that his successor will likely be Cairne's own son, Baine Bloodhoof, but, at this time, such talk is simply speculation. The Tauren continue to supply fierce warriors and wise shaman to the Horde, and are currently involved in the renewed conflict on Azeroth.
