| In a vast forest filled with many trees, lakes, small waterfalls, the land was at peace. It was rare for such peace to exist around these areas, though the peace was slightly disturbed. The animals fled to their homes as usual when they sense danger. A man known as Hotsuma Oboro was once well known to the Ninja world for being an excellent Anbu leader, but even more known for his skills in swordsmanship. A short time ago after he was dubbed the leader of the legendary swordsmen, by an old friend of his named Naizu, who is also the Mizukage. Hotsuma had disappeared after hearing news about a legendary criminal ninja that roamed the lands of Taro Island down south of the water country. But, that was long ago.
The nature in the forest suddenly broke completely as two ninja sped through chasing each other. The ninja up front wearing no head band, in all tan clothing and black hair, with a scar on his left eye. And the ninja behind him chasing him who wore a more strange outfit then a regular Shinobi. He wore a large headband on his head that had 4 blue glowing sharp eyes, and had his hair, and most of his face hidden, but his eyes which were slightly noticeable at the bottom of the headband. He wore no signs of what village he was in either. As he ran, a long red line followed behind him, which was the long red scarf that wrapped around his neck, mouth, and hung down behind him. The two shinobi ran through the forest with incredible speeds before the one up front, who was actually the legendary criminal ninja, came to a stop and quickly turned around. He quickly did some hand seals then placed his hands on the ground, which caused a large rock wall to begin rising out of the ground, which was to stall Hotsuma. As Hotsuma ran to it he placed his hand on Akujiki, the sword on his back, though he did not draw it. When he approached the wall, with a sudden slash, the sword cut through the wall at the bottom, allowing Hotsuma to kick it over. When he kicked it over, the criminal ninja had already began running once again. "He is going in the direction the Mist Village is in..i have to stop him before he gets there". In a split second, Hotsuma began running fast towards the direction of the ninja, and the mist village. He began picking up incredible speeds, and in a flash, he disappeared completely leaving nothing but the rustling wind behind. As the criminal ninja quickly approached the Mist Village, he was suddenly stopped in his tracks by a large thick pillar of lightning that shot down from the sky like a bolt. As the lightning disappeared, Hotsuma was shown standing where the lightning once was. Thinking fast, the criminal sped towards Hotsuma with a Kunai and tried to stab him. Hotsuma easily took off the criminals arm, but what surprised him was that when he hit it, the entire ninja disappeared as if it was a clone. The real criminal appeared in the air suddenly and sent his foot at Hotsumas head with a ton of force. Hotsuma quickly blocked it with the flat of his sword in both hands, though was still shot back through the gates of the Mist Village. Landing on his feet but sliding across the ground a little, Hotsuma was unharmed from the attack. The villagers stood around wondering who he was, and what was going on, but once they had seen the criminal enter through the gates, they began running for shelter. "I need to get him out of the village quick" Hotsuma silently said to himself watching as the criminal approached him.
"I don't know what you have planned to do here...but i have bad news for you.." Hotsuma said before he was rudely cut off by the criminal. "I could care less what your plan to do, because i will get my job done!" he screamed towards Hotsuma.
Standing there facing each other, the village grew quiet. With an instant, they both disappeared from where they stood at an instant, and began clashing swords in different spots around the village. Hotsuma made sure no one was harmed, and nothing was destroyed while they fought. At the right moment in the air, Hotsuma kicked the criminal lunging him towards a nearby body of water outside of the village, and followed him. As hotsuma reached the center of the water, he was hit by the criminal directly into the water with a splash. "Is that all you got? You gotta be kiddin me!" the criminal screamed.
The criminal who was acting cocky above the water didn't notice the sudden change in cloud color above, and in a quick strike, a pillar of lightning shot down and hit the water with a large crash, sending electrified water eyerywhere, and knocking the criminal out of the air, on the ground near the water paralyzed. "The crimes you have done will not go unpunished..and the only right punishment for you would be..." Hotsuma said in the far distance. Within a split second, he appeared behind the criminal with his sword out and in his hands. "Death...".
With the criminals death, Hotsuma began walking back towards the mist village. Right as he took a few steps, he fell to one knee and oput his sword into the ground breathing really heavily. It may not have seemed like it, but Hotsuma had been chasing, and fighting that criminal ever since he reached the island of Taru, and even chased him across the water to the water country.

| The basic gist of Jouijie's day had been quite simple to understand. After returning from a small mission to the North, he'd debriefed the Mizukage and then promptly collapsed in a heap in his bed for an hour or two. It hadn't taken long for him to recover though, he simply seemed to walk it off much better then some would think...The truth was he'd been quite exhausted. Nearly two days of constant moving, then some low level chakra manipulation to top it all off...He was amazed his hands still worked when he got back. Recovering was easier then working on empty chakra. It had taken him a while to even get out of his home, much less go out and do anything, but he decided to go about his day as usual for a genin. An hour ago he had stepped out of his home, adjusted his clothing and headed towards the herb and supply shop, using the money he'd gotten from this mission....And that's when it had happened.
It had taken him a second to even realize what had happened behind him as he'd been walking down the quiet Kirigakure street, the clashing of weapons blowing him away and the combatants fading before the sound had even finished ringing out. His reflexes were a full two seconds too slow and by the time he'd turned around, they were gone. He couldn't let it rest, he abandoned his plans in that instant. Were they under attack? Did one of the jonin just clash with an enemy? Whatever it was, Jouijie couldn't stop anymore and kicked his feet off the ground, not even putting chakra into it. He was weakened and returning from a mission, so he had to conserve his energy completely.
The part of Kirigakure he was on lent itself to height and he ended up being able to see over most of the village blow. Flashes caught his vision, metal and flurries of motions. By the time they'd reached the water, he'd kicked himself off the top of the house he was on and began to dash over rooftops towards the clashes. Then when they left the village, deeper into the wooded sections, he followed the clashing through the trees. It was quiet by the time he'd gotten there, rushing to the lake expecting to be able to help or at least form a distraction, maybe drag someone away for medical care...But really the last thing he'd expected was such a vicious lightning jutsu to crash down in front of him. Oh he recognized it alright, he was of the same element. His mind went blank as he stood there, watching the lingering effects of the lightning on the water.
The man who emerged from the water and walked away from it bore the symbol of a Mist shinobi and that was all Jouijie needed to see, hesitating only a split second before nodding to himself and quickly moving towards him, only stopping once to double check the water for the blood-red bubbles ceasing around it. "H-Hey! Oi! Are you alright?" he called, looking over towards the kneeling shinobi.

| Hitogoroshi had been hiding in his stone box. Waiting for the mist to lower itself enough for him to come out. The dark small space was comforting to him in that little box. As he looked around in the darkness picking out his memorized compartments, the places where he stores his clothing, first aid kit, his pet gravy and other things dear to him; He was listening to the sounds outside. It was almost hypnotic in the way those sounds were.
They were quiet at first, like a dog's tail thumping on the floor in the next room. Then they began to grow louder, coming closer to his little box. His little niche in the world, where he could be happy and safe. After a while, Hito could make out little distinctions in the sounds coming from outside of his comfort box. It was as if someone was fighting in the middle of the street. How silly were they to do that? The training grounds were not far off and much more fun than a misty street.
Before he could think of anything else in his simple slow mind, a huge BOOM rattled his box, sending it flying against a stone wall and under a wooden bench; jarring his bones, sending his fat possum flying into one of the many dark walls, and after all of this his ears were ringing. It took him several seconds before he recollected himself and opened up his box. His lightless eyes looking out on an akward scene. A black haired man looking down onto what he thinks is a superhero without the spandex.
After several seconds staring and registering the scene he realized that superhero man was hurt. Hito scrambled out of his box and streached. His scrawny 6 foot figure crawling out of a coffin (his box) made of stone with his own name and death date carve on the door of it. He then walked over to the man and knelt down trying to figure out where he was hurt. His eyes not registering well on the situation due to the 14 hours he spent in his coffin. He then turned to the black haired man and asked: "Do you know where he's hurt? I can't see very well right now."

| After kneeling to the ground from exaustion, Hotsuma stood back up and noticed a young boy run up to him. Swinging his sword off to the side quickly, to get any blood, or residue from the battle off of it, then sliding it into it's scabbard on his back. He looked down at the kid from beneath the mask with the four blue glowing eyes. "I'm sine, I've just been on the move for days". Rising his eyesight to the mist village, then back down, Hotsuma wondered if this boy was a member of that village, or perhaps someone just traveling, or passing by. "So..i take it your a member of the mist?" | |

| Hito nodded as he pulled up his coat, showing his pale stomach. For a few seconds he felt for the hinge along his left side. It wasn't long until his fingers fell into the niche, dipping his skin low into the crease. Without pain he pulled on it until the skin ripped and revealed that it was a compartment instead of organs that was in there. There were several things in there: paper clips, pretty rocks, crumpled leaves, scrolls, a matchbox and colorful clips of fabric. He pulled out a scroll and closed the door, while opening the roll of paper. As soon as he did, there became a flurry of medical supplies. First he pulled out a small emergency lunch and gave it to the man. If he wasn't hurt then he might as well eat.
Hito then sewed himself up and swallowed the scroll, hitting the compartment with a low thunk. Hito sat criss-crossed, his hands on his cheeks waiting for the man to eat the meal. It was fun to watch people eat, even if he couldn't eat himself. " I came here as a Gennin though." He said randomly, remembering that all he did was nod in his first response to the question.
