Appearance: A dual blade, Rin-Kokoro are two different blades that can either be used as separate weapons or as one whole weapon. Kokoro represents the obsidian stoned blade that is used most; the obsidian stone is intermixed with the strongest steel to make the blade harder to break, even if it shaped like a katana. The hilt of this blade is wrapped around in purple silk, which is tied around Teika’s right wrist. Rin, however, is made out of diamonds, also intermixed with the strongest steel. The blade of this sword is a pure, white crystal-like color while the obsidian is a dark, purple color. A light beige silk covers the hilt od this blade as well, which is tied around her left wrist. At the top center of each blade, on the hilt, is the imprint of the butterfly sign, in reference to Teika’s Clan.

Weight: 1.5 pounds each, even if the material of her katana’s may seem heavy, the blade is actually made with light material, how ever the material is still strong enough to cut through a wall twice the blade’s width.
Abilities: Because of having the large chakra pools from having Nibi, Teika’s usage on these dual bladed katanas are much stronger and more efficient. Originally, the blades itself had different abilities. Kokoro, the obsidian blade, reverses the chakra within in, allowing it to sap any of the chakra of another person it jabs into by at least 3%. Rin, the diamond blade, was supposed to increase Teika’s ability of using the Spirit’s Flame, her KKG, because of the blade enhances her ability to control it. But because of Teika’s large chakra pools, the obsidian blade bursts into the silver blue flame, her KKG, and any flesh it touches, an automatic burning yet chilling effect occurs. The flames would seep into the pores of another person, since at touch, Teika’s chakra automatically over coats the small flames, making them tiny enough to fit through pores. Rin, however, now takes the role of what Kokoro used to do. By jabbing another person, Kokoro is able to sap their chakra away from them, 4.5% of it, but it stores it within the blade. Once the blade is filled with another person’s chakra, and ultimate ability occurs, but it can be used to saved the person or ultimately destroy them.
Info: Rin-Kokoro was passed down from her ancestral line all the way down to Teika. This blade had a legend that once it finds the perfect owner, the blades will never leave his/her side and help defeat battles that may cause a threat. But most of the legend was torn or taken away because of the many invaders. The blades, once put together, causes an ability that would make most of the people incinerate into flames, but, that ability is unknown and banned.
