The Jurai Clan

History//Legend of the Clan:

The Jurai Clan was founded around three hundred years ago, they started off as a small clan trying to develop traits and unique characteristics to help them survive. The elders of the clan were busy getting developing this bloodline trait. The clan had reached a break through when it discovered that seals could be placed on the body like a curse mark. If seals could be formed on the body then what if you sealed a summoning scroll in their mind, on their brain, so that they could activate the scroll with a flick of a thought. The clan elders developed the Donki Yobidasu no Jutsu, literally meaning Blunt Weapon Summoning Technique but the clan simply referred to it as Weapon Summoning Technique, a technique that would implant a summoning scroll in the brain and allow the person to reseal items inside it. The clan soon realized this was too dangerous of a technique and began to pass it on throughout the elders. This caused the clan to split up travel away from the main clan to the other great nations. This spread caused the clan to develop different traits. The Donki Yobidasu was spread out around the clans and soon many people were dying due to improper use of the technique. The elders developed the Donki Yobidasu to seal only one specific class of weapons. This was their failsafe incase of someone giving out the technique. The clan stayed away from many of the shinobi wars for the risk of their Hiden techniques washing away throughout the clan and being used around the world. Once the last Shinobi war ended the Jurai clan came out of hiding and was soon frowned upon for their techniques because they thought that teaching children to “play” with weapons at an early age was dangerous. However, the clan disagreed and began to be more discreet about there techniques.

Kekkei Genkai//Bloodline of the Clan:

The clan’s Kekkei Genkai is the “Donki Yobidasu no Jutsu” or Weapon Summon Technique, the technique can be used by all that have gone through the Seishin Heigou no Jutsu initiation, or Mind Merge Technique. The Donki Yobidasu allows the caster to seal weapons of their class inside the scroll as well as summon them at will. The Seishin Heigou is the technique that only clan elders know it allows them to merge a blank weapons scroll to the mind, the scroll can only be sealed with weapons of a certain class depending on what area you live in, the classes are as follows:
KONOHAGAKURE: Projectiles such as: Kunai, Throwing Shuriken, Paper Bombs
SUNAGAKURE: Kenjutsu, swords, a sword classifies as a handle with a blade.
KUMOGAKURE: Bojutsu, staves and poles, blunt objects
IWAGAKURE: Sojutsu, spears, blunt objects with small blades at the ends.

The Donki Yobidasu scroll can have weapons of that class sealed into the scroll, as when it is merged it is blank. The Donki Yobidasu can be infused with elements and those are as follows:
KONOHAGAKURE: Fire
SUNAGAKURE: Earth
KUMOGAKURE: Lightning
IWAGAKURE: Wind

The mentioned above elements are the primary elements of those born in that area.

Clan Information:

- Clan Training :: The Jurai clan has many "unorthadox" trainings and cermonies to "initiate" a member into the clan. The first of which is during the first three years after birth the child is watched to see if they have a natural attraction to weapons, if not they are trained in medical Ninjutsu, when that child grows to turn three the decided weapon is tattooed in purple ink on the child's top of the foot, this shows the first step of training completed. Children that do not complete this, which is about one in every fifteen grow up to be trained in medicine and medical ninjutsu.

The second step of training is training in the class of weapons their clan belongs to (Konoha shinobi start with kunai throwing), once the basic form of the weapon is near mastered the child has the decision to train in other weapons under that class. This training usually ends by age twelve to fourteen where the child is promoted to Genin.

The third step in completing the "initiation" process is where the clan elder uses the Seishin Heigou technique passed on to the elders only. This technique merges a summoning scroll with the shinobis mind to allow for a "weapon projection" ninja art in which the mind unseals the weapons and summons them without physical possession of a scroll.

- Population :: About 100 in each village, none in Kirigakure

- Nature//Values :: The clan’s morals and values are not much above or below the average clan, they know in their hearts what they stand for and many a shinobi has gone missing due to the fact that the ability is very useful in close combat as well as dangerous situations.
