Description: A powerful jutsu, Ninpo Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon animals, objects and the dead to fight on their behalf. The ninja normally signs a blood contract with the animal species, which allows them to summon different size and skill levels of creature. The ability to summon more advanced animals largely depends upon the amount of chakra the ninja can muster to perform the jutsu. To summon the creature the ninja will wipe blood on the hand, perform the necessary handseals and then touch their hand to the ground or another object. Though it appears that as long as significant pressure is placed against the blood in some form, the summon will be complete. There can be variations to the summoning steps, some ninja like Temari will wipe blood on her fan, then by swinging the fan the animal is summoned. Other ninja like Orochimaru wipe the blood across a snake tattoo on their arm first, and then touch the ground.
Snakes :: Vipers of Death
Ryuu of the Yagami, has always had something of an affinity towards snakes. He, for one, chooses to see his connects to snakes as a curse, being the Jinchuuriki of the Hachi demon, a massive eight-headed and eight-tailed snake demon known as the Yamata-no-Orochi. However, whether it is truly a curse or not, at a certain point you lean acceptance of what you are, and in some ways Ryuu now embraces his affinity, through he still detests his demon. For Ryuu, his acceptance of the term Jinchuuriki had not come until he had been thrown into the Konohagakure Chuunin Examinations, more specifically when he had fought in the final round against one Onoda Hiro. Being forced into his demon state had nearly pushed him to the brink of being consumed by the beast's evil. However, thought his own will he had been able to pull himself form the clutches of madness, and from that day on he has believed that it is possible to tame his demon to the point where he not only can control it, but also lock it away within him.
After his had been bestowed the rank of Chuunin, Ryuu went into a life of solitude as he trained, keeping Konoha away from the evil he had to learn how to over come, while keeping his heart with the village he loved. It was during this time of loneliness and training that Ryuu had sought out the home village of his clan, only to find that it had been abandoned several years previous. It was a ghost town, and what was worse is that its ghosts were left in the area. The Yomigan of Ryuu activated without his control, and the Yagami was forced to relive the spirits of his clan being massacred again. In seeking out his home, Ryuu found the cause of his misfortune, the very reason why it had been him to be selected by the Orochi as a host, though a host that had been intended to die as a means of resurrection.
During this time of training and learning, Ryuu had encountered the remnants of the Kusanagi clan, former rivals of the Yagami. Though he sought no ill will by taking residences in the shattered homes of his clan, Ryuu was forced to fend for his life and defeat the Kusanagi that attacked him. In doing so, he had used his ability to manifest Hidden Shadow Snakes, which he had gained from his exposure to the Orochi's demon chakra. However, the oddest thing happened in the fight, for it appears that this small group of Kusanagi, living between Konohagakure and Kumogakure, had seen the technique before! Ryuu was intrigued by what would have to have been an alternate form of using the technique. From what knowledge he had gained from the Kusanagi, he made his way to the mountains around Kumogakure, hoping to be found out by a Kumo-nin that could direct him to the other with Hidden Shadow Snakes. Ryuu, as it would turn out, would meet such an acquaintance in the form of another Ryu, and though it had been tense at first, eventually they came to a mutual understanding, and Ryuu was taken into the walls of Kumogakure itself to find the one called Souzen, a beastly puppeteer that had neither reason or understanding in his opinion. Upon learning of the Snake Contract, Ryuu thought for a moment to obtain a signature upon it. After further discussion, he believed that Souzen would be too dangerous if the contract remained in his hands. However, Ryuu quickly changed his mind after he so easily got around the puppeteers defense with nothing but Taijutsu and Kenjutsu. Almost delivering a chopping slash straight through the puppeteer, Ryuu stopped his mighty blade and turned his back on the battle. It was apparent to him that the contract did not give power to the one that possessed it.
Ryuu left that battle, and he left Kumogakure. About the only thing that he did not leave there was his interests, for he now knew snakes that could talk his tongue. Serpents had always been able to sense his demon, and perhaps through communication with such verbal serpents he could come to understand more about himself and his demon. What Ryuu did next was something that could only be done because he is so affiliated towards snakes. Using his Yomigan :: Eye of the Dead :: which gave him the ability to see souls, along with deep concentration on nothing except snakes, Ryuu actually looked beyond his sight, seeing a large collections of souls to match with his snake concentration. This gave him only a direction as a guess, though the distance would prove more then he would have liked. However, Ryuu was one for perseverance and seeking out knowledge, and through he spent nearly a whole mouth trekking his path, he was eventually met with a very odd sight. Had he not been searching for talking snakes, he would have nearly thought he had lost his mind when he came across talking toads! Not just talking toads, but also spear wielding ones that seemed to threaten his existence because he was apparently trespassing. However, before Ryuu could talk his way out of the situation, another disturbance erupted, this time from the earth itself. A large cobra emerged from the earth, fending off the toads before taking Ryuu underground rather forcefully. It seems his guess was right, for no sooner had he found the collection of talking snakes he believed existed, but they had found him, drawn to him by the essence of the Orochi within. Ryuu would spend another month here, learning much from the snakes that had almost instantly liked him, some even calling him a snake on two legs. It was here that he signed a new contract, a pact with the snakes. He never did learn if these were the same serpents that Souzen has command over, for he never saw among them the one snake Souzen had actually summoned. However, he walked away from this place as a guest, with the gift of a brand new contract that bore only one name upon it, "Yagami Ryuu". With the help of Hebimaru, the cobra that had originally taken him to the snakes, Ryuu made his venture home this time, finally able to return to Konoha.
Cut, by training with Ryuu, and signing his contract, is now able to summon snakes.

Name: Dokueki Kushi [Venom Spit]

Description: By collecting a small amount of chakra within his mouth Cut can spit a concentrated dose of venom at his opponent. The venom is enhanced by the chakra added to it to the point where it does not have to be injected into the opponent to have an effect. If direct contact is made with the opponents skin the area hit will feel severely numb, which would be most effective when striking a bending joint, potentially preventing the opponent from using the limb until the effects wear off, which is usually around 5 minutes if only contact with the skin is made. However, in a far more effective situation, if the venom makes a direct hit with the eyes, even if they are closed in the cases where the venom is not instantly washed off, the effect on the target will be temporary blindness, lasting around an hour before sight is regained.

Description: This technique requires the user to collect chakra into either their ears or their throat, depending on which direction the commands or information is coming form. This technique is used in connection with serpents, allowing the user to either give out commands to obedient serpents through a chakra filled whisper of a hiss, or hear what the serpent has to say through listing to a whispered hiss form the serpent with chakra fill ears. Not all serpents can be used with this technique, and this is usually used to listen to the Hidden Shadow Snake Hand Messenger that is released for spying operations. Normal, untamed snakes usually do not have enough of an education to pass on useful information, but snakes from the summoning contract do, and this technique can even be used to understand speaking snakes, so that the information is passed on selectively.

Description: This is a technique derived from the ability to create Hidden Shadow Snakes from within the user's sleeve. The user of this technique will slam their fist upon the ground and release from their clothing a single black-scaled serpent. However, unlike similar moves this snake will fully separate from the user, becoming like a normal serpent on the ground. This snake is charged with the duty of delivering messages that the user will write upon a small patch of parchment. The message itself is kept safe within the esophagus of the snake, and the snake tracks the desired delivery location through its normal inferred sight along with any instructions given to it by the user. In the cases were this snake is sent to deliver the message to a specific person in an unknown location, it must first be presented with something that carries a traceable track of the desired target. After the message is delivered this snake will disappear in a puff of smoke. While this technique is usually used to deliver a message the user otherwise could not, the "messenger" in this case can also work as a spy, having the serpent witness things that the user is not looking at and then having it return to deliver the information it witnessed.

Description: This techniques is an extension of the Sen'eijashu [Hidden Shadow Snake Hand] that uses larger snakes that can more easily grasp onto the nearby opponents. This techniques is not usually performed through a punching motion because of the increased size the snakes used in this technique make it difficult to shoot them out farther from the hand. This technique creates black-scaled anaconda sized snakes that exposed themselves out of the user's loose clothing, quickly coiling around the opponent to restrain their motion almost entirely. Not only to these snakes physically bind the entire body of the targets, but they also instill a degree of fear within the opponents due to the murderous intent of these snakes. Though this technique has a downside that only a limited number of snakes can be used at a time, namely one snake per sleeve, these snakes do possess a paralyzing venom.

Description: After performing several hand-signs the user will perform this special summoning technique in which they spew from their mouth a massive jet stream of snake oil. This oil comes from the fat of Chinese water snakes, and is composed of eicosapentaenic acid, myristic achid, stearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid. Along with this the oil is mixed with a carrier material, including camphor, to give it a liquid flow to it. While this oil, made from snakes, is composed of may acids, it is not corrosive, and does not use the acid element, as it is actually being summoned from where the snakes reside. The acids actually have a numbing effect, as snake oil was once used in a miracle cure to relieve joint pain. However, in a more effective sense, this oil is very flammable, and so it ignites when exposed to a flame.

Description: This is a partial summoning techniques that does not summon a living snake, but instead summons the tough hide of discarded snake skin from the molted skin of snakes. After performing a snake hand-sign and collecting chakra into the part of the body that the user wishes to coat in snake scales, the skin will appear overtop the user's skin, stuck onto the area by the same liquid that snakes usually use for helping them slide out of the skin, though since the user is human their skin does not react the same ways as the scales of a living snakes. The scales appear as blackish blue, and appear directly on the skin, so it the region is already covered in clothing the scales will appear underneath the clothing. These scales can protect against physical attacks and bladed weapons, giving the user extra endurance, though this endurance is less when the scales are attacked by elemental attacks. At a Jounin level these scales can vertically cover the entire body of the user, being summoned form the molted skins of larger snakes, thusly giving more protection.

Description: This technique, after performing a few hand-signs and intentionally dislocating a few bones along their spinal cord, allows the user to elongate their midriff, making their movements and body appear in something of a snake manner. The user is now able to glide along the ground in the locomotion of a snake, moving quicker and stealthier then their normal movement. Furthermore, using this technique the user is actually able to coil around their opponent, constricting their captured prey with their malleable body in the same manner of a snake. This technique is useful in infiltration and spying activities because of the unique style of movement it grants the user. The user can also move faster in this form, not making it a good means of attacking the enemy quickly. This technique does not necessarily require the hand-signs if the user can mold their chakra and physiology well enough.

Description: This technique is an advanced level Hebijutsu that is performed with a single hand-sign, in this case the serpent seal, and then a similar style of bringing snakes forth as in the Sen'eitajutsu [Many Hidden Shadow Snake Hand Technique]. After forming the serpent hand-sign and the user will position their limb that the snakes will emerge from where he would like it, allocating chakra in order to create many more snakes then usual with the thrusting technique. The multiple black scaled snakes that shoot from with the user's clothing collect upon themselves as they begin to take a rather humanoid form, eventually turning into an exact, physical copy of the user. This clone is physical, and can deal damage as well as use any of the Hebiton jutsu of a B rank or lower. If struck with enough force, the clone will begin to break apart into the snakes it is made up of. However, if left alone these snakes can reform into the perfect physical copy of the user, or they can simply burst out of the clone form and attack as a large swarm of snakes until they are either destroyed, or withdrawn by the original user back into their clothing, in which they will disappear as mysteriously as they appeared.

Description: This is an advanced, more comprehensive version of the Hidden Shadow Snake Hand, taking advantage of the fact that it produces a serpent with a mouth as a means of bettering the attack of the user. Like the other technique, this move unleashes a single snake from within the user's sleeve, this viper striking out towards the opponent, but not in the same manner as before. By channeling the chakra through the demon, the user is now able to use the snakes' mouth in the stead of their own, or even use it along side their own mouth to increase the number of simultaneous attacks. This hidden shadow snake can be used with any C ranked technique the user knows that requires either touch or a mouth through which to spit the attack. The user will still form the necessary hand-signs needed for the technique, and then unleash it from the snake, instead of their own body. The user can also double the chakra cost of the technique as a means of using it with two snakes, one form each hand, or from using with a snake and then their own mouth. Finally, the user can triple the cost of the technique as a means of using it with two snakes, and like normal, potentially creating three simultaneous same techniques approaching from different direction and different angles. As an example of how this technique could work, a Katon user could have the snake perform the Great Fireball Technique, though the cost of the chakra for the Katon technique still comes from the summoner.

Description: This technique is an advanced level Hebijutsu that involves a unique style of summoning snakes. After performing several hand-signs, the user will release form their mouth a torrent of snakes, ranging in the thousands. All these snakes appear as the same variety, for Cut these snakes all appear as black-scaled vipers. However, at a certain point soon after beginning this technique, the sheer number of snakes this technique unleashes becomes too massive that it is hard to distinguish where one snake ends and the other begins. The aim of this technique is not to precisely injure the opponent, but instead to swarm the enemies with a virtual tidal wave of serpents, all biting down and lashing out at the targets caught within the ocean of snakes. Being vipers, these snakes possess a neurotoxin that can also kill anyone caught within them through an overdose of venom. To defeat this swarm, in which the summoner can even hide to conceal his location within the snakes, allowing him to advance on the enemies unnoticed from behind a veil of serpents, the opponent must unleash wave upon wave of attack, for these snakes with continue their advance right down to the last one of them. The name of this technique, "Mandara", comes from a play on the Buddhist schema of an enlightened mind.
The Summons
Name: Jatai

Physical Description: Jatai is a very unique female snake. This snake is white-scaled with red eyes, however, it eyes are rarely seen considering that usually keeps them closed in order to keep up with the illusion that it is a piece of clothing. The most interesting feature of this snake is that it does not have a diameter girth, for Jatai is a flat snake, no more then a half a inch thick and 8 inches wide. Jatai is not summoned by slamming the hand of the user onto the ground, but instead by slamming their palm onto a part of their own body. The reasoning for this type of special summoning is because Jatai is actually worn by the user that summons her, which suggests that the old legend about this creature is true, saying that it was once the obi of a kimono that was transformed into a snake. The texture of this snakes scales makes it look like it is made out of fabric, further creating the illusion that this is a piece of clothing rather then a snake. The tale of this creature is always held within its own mouth, and so the true length of this snake is not known, however it will always wrap around the one that summoned it, and in Ryuu's case it is worn diagonally hanging on his right shoulder as a sash.

Description: This technique is the main reason for summoning Jatai, for the snake will refuse to do any other work since it is worn as a article of clothing. Using this technique, Jatai is able to absorb one technique, preventing its wearer form receiving the damage in its stead. After absorbing the hit by sacrificing itself, Jatai will disappear, making this summon good for use as a shied for only one technique, though the technique may very. The snake can stretch out is cloth like body to absorb larger techniques, however if the technique is too powerful then it can still strike the user, meaning that the user has to be careful about what technique they use Jatai to shield against.

Description: By using its cloth like body, Jatai will extend outward from where it is worn and wrap is body around the victims face and throat, causing the person trapped within to suffocate if they cannot remove the snake. Jatai will use chakra to tighten its constriction to completely block air form getting to the victim if trapped. Even if the enemy is able to destroy Jatai, the amount of time that they are trapped could provide her master to get in an important attack, considering that being suffocated completely will no doubt distract the victim's attention away the one that summoned Jatai.

Physical Description: Compared with a normal snake, Akamata seems rather large. However, compared with a typical summon, Akamata is rather small. The snake's body stretches out roughly 5 feet in length, with a body diameter of only 3 inches in girth. Like most serpents, Akamata's body is uniquely covered, it's base colors being orange, with black scale patches all down it's back, and within the black are spots of yellow. The belly scales of this viper are a yellowish white, with lateral riffs like all snakes have. Akamata moves like a typical snake, slithering across the ground. However, as a summon it is meant for speed, thus explaining is relatively small size, seeming smaller then most full grown boa constrictors. However, the most unique feature of this snake is its fangs, which appear like hanging katana's in its venomous mouth. These teeth are designed for slashing across the opponent rather then biting down upon them. However, while Akamata aims at moving rapidly in order to deliver many slashes, it does leave its venom within the wound. It is not the most venomous of snakes, however, its venom carries with it a disorientating feature, three slashes being enough to make an opponent at as through they were drunk, giving them a hangover that will last until the morning. Akamata is able to talk, and speaks in a harsh scolding voice, especially when he is begging for more sake, his choice of pleasures even though he is usually always drunk just off of his own venom. --Venom - Akamata has unique venom that acts as a potent alcohol that enters the opponent's body when it is slashed across the opponent with Akamata's unique style of fangs. One slash will have little effect on the opponent, two will cause them to feel lighted headed and woozy. However, if three slashes are made then it will be as through the opponent was drunk, making it extremely hard for them to fight unless if they have mastered such a skill as the "Drunken Fist".

Description: This technique uses the natural ability of snakes to shed their skin in order to create a kind of substitution effect. Though the skin shedding is usually only done when the snake grows, this technique can be performed by the summoned snake sending chakra into its existing outer scales. By quickly shedding its old skin, the snake is able to leave its scales behind and quickly move to another location on the field. This technique will repair minor damage that had been done to it, but it also allows the snake to reposition itself while distracting the opponent, since there will be a snake form left behind form the scales being quickly shed, which can potentially hide what has been done if they scales are not blown away in the attack the serpent just dodged.

Description: By charging his belly scales with chakra, Akamata is able to increase its speed even more to allow it to not only dodge attacks, but close the gap between himself and his opponent, allowing him to get in close enough to strike the opponent with his unique venom. The speed burst lasts the duration of practically any straightforward distance within 5 meters. However, because of the chakra cost and Akamata's own tiring endurance he does not perform this technique more then three times per summoning.

Description: Akamata is almost always drunk off of his own unique venom. However, luckily for both Akamata and the one that summoned him, he is a master of the Suiken Ryuu style of fighting, and through he does not actually have "fists", he can use this technique to loosen the muscles throughout his long body to give him unstructured movements that are both hard to predict, and nearly accidentally nimble to make it harder to hit the fast moving snake. Not only does this style make the snakes motions more fluid and agile, but it also allows him to take more pain thanks to the impairing effect his alcohol has upon his sense of danger and feeling.
Name: Tsuchinoko :: Tsuchi

Physical Description: Tsuchinoko, or Tsuchi for short, is a brown snake with a white underbelly. Technically he is a member of the cobra family of snakes, but his physiology is very unique, particularly in relationship to his "hood". Whereas most cobra have a universal girth with an extendable hood at the head, Tsuchinoko's extendable physiology is at his midsection, which has a girth greater then his head or tailed. At first he appears like a fat-bellied snake, and this holds all the more true when his hood extended to increase both his vertical and horizontal girth. Of summons, when simply slithering his is not the fastest of snakes, but that is not only because of his girth, but also because his brown, thick scales have rocks embedded into them, making his back and head very tough to the point where he is easily used as a shield against physical attacks, and is more then willing to let a sword strike him, though that could be because it would be burdensome to attempt to dodge. Tsuchinoko is best at mobility when he travels beneath the earth, or when he curls himself into a unique ball shape and begins to roll. Of snake summongs, Tsuchinoko is the one that enjoys to rock and roll, or at least that is how his playful personality would describe it. In all Tsuchinoko is well over 200 pounds, and measures nearly four feet in total length, with an initial central girth of two feet off the ground. Tsuchinoko

--Fangs/Venom - Tsuchinoko has fangs like all snakes do, and the same neurotoxin as all cobras. This venom can paralyze an opponent, but since Tsuchinoko is not the most venomous of snakes and his bite can only paralyze an opponent's limb it is injected into, taken two posts before the paralysis occurs.
--Expanding gut - Tsuchinoko is a rather fat snake, and can increase the central girth through extending his hood, potentially increasing the surface area for attacks and defense. He can also use this expanded central girth to fold his head and tail into in order to curl himself into a ball shape.

Description: Similar to the Akimichi style of Taijutsu, this technique takes advantage of Tsuchinoko's large central girth. After expanding his girth and hood, the plump snake will fold his head and tail downwards, biting down on his own tail in order to form his body into a large ball shape. Once this ball shape is formed, Tsuchi will begin a powerful and rather fast roll, flattening obstacle in his way as he attempts to crush the directly hit the opponent. Given his size, this technique could cause the opponent to break several bones if a direct his is landed. This is a powerful technique, and the user is even able to change the direction of the roll in order to respond to the changing battlefield.

Description: To perform this technique Tsuchinoko will first dive into the ground and then begin to rip through the earth in front of him, remaining shallowly within the earth, turning his entire body into an earthbound torpedo. As the user travels through the earth a shark-like dorsal fin composed of solidified and sharpened earth forms above his path, slicing through obstacles above the user. However, while this "fin" is as sharp as a blade, it gives away the user's position more then the channeling quaking earth does as it rips apart above Tsuchinoko. Once the user reaches the target, he can burst out of the ground, causing the earth around him to explode, scattering the area with painful pebble sized debris.

Description: This is a simple yet effective technique. To perform this technique, Tsuchinoko will first swallow a large chunk of earth ground the earth, breaking the clod of dirt into gravel-sized pieces within his mouth as he combines it with Doton chakra. By drawing his head back and upwards Tsuchi can proceed to shoot in one massive spit countless pebbles towards his opponent. These pebbles mostly just deliver a stinging poke, but can prove more effective if they hit the thin skin of the face or the tender surface of the throat or eyes. Even if these pebbles do no hit the opponent in a tender area, this is still an effective technique for the shear number of pebbles that it creates and uses.

Physical Description: Unlike other snake summons, this is actually a swarm summoning, and not an individual snake. This summoning appears in the form of a massive swarm of snakes appearing at the same time. The snakes are all black scaled, and have yellow, glowing eyes that appear ominous, especially if summoned in the dark. These snakes are all non-venomous pythons, and as such generally aim at constricting their prey. The snakes area all around three feet in total length, but are regular in size for snakes, with a girth of about two inches maximum. One downside to this form of summoning is that it take longer, in that the user must keep their hand pressed down on the summoning location until all of the snakes appear, and when it comes to these snakes the more there area the more effective they are in combat. At Genin 50 snakes can be summoned, and at Chuunin 100. While the full amount of snakes do not need to be summoned at once, it is recommended.

Description: This is a very powerful technique that encompasses the entire area this swarm summoning spreads out across. By releasing Raiton chakra through their bodies and connecting their individual charges with that of the other snakes summoned through this group, this swarm of snakes can surge electricity across the field, striking anything caught within the field with dangerous lightning that could potentially paralyze the targets. This technique is made all the more effective if the pythons managed to constrict on the target, for they are able to channel this lightning chakra towards a localized area within the field, forcing the full might of the technique onto one individual snakes and the person they are binding. Remain in effect for no more then a minute at a time, but since it is meant to be an instant shock technique, drawing it out for the full length is usually not done unless if aiming to target such things as crops, which is the bases of this technique name.

Description: This is a defensive technique taken with the user of the Raiton chakra these snakes produce. By swarming around the summoner in a circular formation, these snakes can send their lightning chakra upwards, forming a small half-sphere dome around their master in order to protect him from some techniques. This sphere can be sued to deflect some minor attacks, and even some major attacks of the same or lower level. However, considering the high chakra cost of this move, it can be dangerous with extended use, and thusly is usually only effective when used directly before an attack is received, dying down after the attack is negated.

Physical Description: This is Ryuu's personal summoning that he favors above all other snakes considering that its personality and because it reminds him of a regular King Cobra he encountered during the first stage of his Chuunin Exam. Hebimaru is a black-scaled King Cobra with deep yellow eyes that looks as through they were looking through you instead of looking at you. Hebimaru stretches out 20 feet in full length, with a girth of 5 ft in diameter. When its hood is fully extended it can create a surface area of about 9 foot wide, allowing Ryuu to ride on top of it easily in either a closed or open style. The hood is usually only extended for defense or when it chooses, but like all King Cobra's it had a design of a circle on the back of its hood, though Hebimaru's symbol also features the leaf symbol in the center of its marking, something it had Ryuu add to him to honor Konoha. Hebimaru is a talking summoned creature, and commands the respect of most other vipers. The fact that the King Cobra is an Ophiophagus, snake-eater, is appealing to Ryuu for the fact that he has never been much of a fan of snakes. Like all King Cobras Hebimaru produces neurotoxins in its venom, which can paralyze an opponent if they are bitten. Hebimaru's eyes are yellow, and appear almost ominously in the black-scaled face of the cobra.

--Jaw: Like all cobras, Hebimaru can dislocate his jaw in order to swallow objects of a larger size then his initial mouth would allow.
--Belly: Hebimaru can neglect form digesting smaller objects that do not miscue his normal girth, allowing him to potentially transport objects without them appearing obvious. However, one downside to this is that, once coughed up, the object will be covered in fluid from within the snakes body, though non acidic in nature.

Description: This technique uses the natural ability of snakes to shed their skin in order to create a kind of substitution effect. Though the skin shedding is usually only done when the snake grows, this technique can be performed by the summoned snake sending chakra into its existing outer scales. By quickly shedding its old skin, the snake is able to leave its scales behind and quickly move to another location on the field. This technique will repair minor damage that had been done to it, but it also allows the snake to reposition itself while distracting the opponent, since there will be a snake form left behind form the scales being quickly shed, which can potentially hide what has been done if they scales are not blown away in the attack the serpent just dodged.

This is a large attack that can prove devastating when directed upon a single target. Hebimaru does not require hand-signs to perform this technique, considering that snakes do no have hands.

Hebimaru can also release this special oil through its skin, relating this technique back to the source of its name, which comes from a water serpent that would drip oil onto boats before igniting them onto fire.

Description: This technique uses Hebimaru's natural modified saliva, venom, to create a cloud of venomous gas around the area. Hebimaru will collect chakra and venom within its mouth and lungs before spewing out this cloud to cover the area. If the opponent is caught in the cloud for a minute then it will be the same as through Hebimaru directly bit them, and even if they are not caught for that long they will experience nausea and disorientation from inhaling the cloud. However, Ryuu, being immune to snake venom, can safely in the cloud alongside Hebimaru, who is immune to neurotoxins along with all other King Cobras. This cloud is meant to deliver venom to the opponent, but is also useful in creating a effective smokescreen for distractions.

Physical Description: Kiyohime is a very unique snake summoning considering that she is partially humanoid, and if you ask her she will tell you that that is because she was once human. Kiyohime has a dark-green scaled body, with lighter white belly scales, and well body. Her real length is about 20 feet long, but when she "stands", which is to say erects her humanoid upper body, she can easily reach 6 foot off the ground, showing that her waist reaches about 4 feet from where her head begins. Kiyo has a drooping hood with thicker scales at is head. This hood covers her snake-tail hair, which is green with yellow wrappings on it, some with beads hanging from them from how she had accessorized herself. Her face usually looks sad, except for when she sees Ryuu, who is her target of her affections, making Ryuu very awkward whenever Kiyo is around. Her wide yellow eyes possess mascara like tribal lines coming off them, and she had a very slender mouth and nostrils. She does possess venomous fangs, but she rarely bits. Her neck is long, and white like her belly scales, though she had a black strapping around it that connects to her top, which is a black halter-top with a cut at her cleavage. Unlike other reptiles, she does possess breast, but once again this is because she was formally human. The top has loose hanging robes hanging off them that connect to both her armbands, wrist cuffs, and lower sash, which stretches down to cover the front of her waist. Her upper body had a clear humanoid look, complete with all the normal curves, and even arms, which is very unique for snakes. On her forearms she wears extensive bracelets with a golden snake design on it. She has black claws at the end of her finger, though she only possess four fingers, including her thumbs. Kiyohime

Story: Kiyohime, or just Kiyo as she prefers to be called, was once a beautiful waitress who, according to Japanese folklore, worked in a teahouse on the Hidaka riverbank. A visiting preast named Anchin fell in love with her but after a time he overcame his passions and refrained from further meetings. Kiyo became furious and sought revenge. She went to the temple of Kompera to learn the art of serpent magic. After studying for some time she turned herself into a serpent women and hunted down the priest where he lived. When the priest attempted to hide from her benearth a temple bell, she released a great belch of fire and melted the metal thereby killing he priest. However, after enacting her revenge, Kiyo learned that she could not undo the magic that had transformed her, and thusly she would forever remain a monster. Eventually she found her way to the wanderer's mountain, and she was accepted by the snakes that live there, becoming one of the inhabitants of the snake filled tunnels and marshes, usually spreading her time sulking over her lost love and lost humanity. However, when summoned by Ryuu she instantly fell in love again, though if he ever betrayed her then he had better watch out!

Description: This is a Genjutsu technique that is released through a melody sung by Kiyo. While she sings this technique she is unable to move, however, so long as the opponent can hear this melody they will be placed under at least some of the effects of this Genjutsu. However, the full effects of the Genjutsu can only be reached if the opponent both hears this melody and is looking into Kiyo's eyes, meaning that if eye contact is made when the melody is begun this will become a total Genjutsu. If the melody is just heard by the opponent then they will be put into a dazed state, slowing down their response time to the situation, through not immobilizing them. However, if eye contact is made when this melody begins then they will also be immobilized by being placed into a trance like state, unable to move or look away from her eyes, similar to how a snake charmer charms a snake. The downside to this technique is that the one that summoned Kiyo is also victim to this Genjutsu, meaning that if eye contract is not made then both Ryuu and his opponent will still be fighting on an even battlefield. Furthermore, this Genjutsu can last only as long as Kiyo's own voice can carry it, the most time of this being 5 minutes in one use, and after one use her voice will need to rest, making this a one time use technique for a single battle.

Description: This is a poison technique that utilizes the venom produced by Kiyo's fangs. By making contact with the victim's mouth through a kiss, Kiyo will inject her poisonous venom into the victim's bloodstream though being absorbed in the victim's mouth. The venom itself does not need to enter an open mouth, but rather just leave Kiyo's own mouth through the contract of the lips, with the skin of the opponent's lips and oral cavity being some of the softest on the body, allowing for quick transport of deadly venom. If the kiss is successful this chakra-enhanced venom will immediately begin to corrupt the opponent. The skin around the mouth turning pale and flaky, and the veins around the area showing a dark blue, even the eyes of the user turning yellow, which is a common sign of some poisons. If the kiss is landed then the victim with faint within 10 minutes time unless the poison is removed by some other force, since it cannot simply be bleed out of the victim. However, up until the opponent faints, the victim will be disorientated with a gradual condition that will impair their body more and more as time goes on. While this is a powerful technique, its flaw is that it must be delivered though a kiss, making it a difficult one to deliver in the field of battle. This technique alone does not kill. However, its name is still appropriate since the victim will be left defenseless. Although the effects of this jutsu are much like what they would be if Kiyo simply bit the opponent, this style of paralysis works immediately, rather then when just a bite is landed.

Description: After performing several hand-signs the user of this technique will create at their base or hands a small flame that will rapidly expand and shoot forth according to how the user molds their chakra, since guiding the flames along the ground not only consumes chakra but also requires the user to concentrate on the attack path. This fire will travel in rapidly moving jets which will race towards the target and surround them in a ring of intense flames, which can be made all the more powerful with the introduction of wind from Fuuton techniques. So long as the user maintains the final hand-sign of this technique they will be able to direct the fire anywhere within the range limits of the technique, even splitting the traveling flame into multiple branches from the original source. While this technique is usually performed on the ground so as to limit the movement of the target, it can also be done in a mid-air spin, forming the fire from the user's limb into a ring that can be shot towards the target. These fires can easily rise above the height of a normal person even from being created with a very small initial flame, and the addition of more chakra can make the fires rise even higher if needed.

Description: Unlike other fire-based techniques, this technique uses a cloud of ash before actual flames. After performing several hand-signs the user will exhale a cloud of superheated ash, which is hot enough to burn flesh even before being ignited. This technique works off of an extended breath large enough to create a massive sized dome in the full attack range of this technique just in front of the user, though the side of the area this technique consumes depends largely on how long the user holds this breath, which is shot with the fingers held in front of the mouth in order to help guide this cloud as it forms. This cloud of lingering ash is hot enough to cause severe third-degree burns on the victim. Furthermore, since the cloud is entirely composed of ash, it stays in the air around the victim, making this a prolonged attack. The true deadliness of this technique, however, is that if the user clicks their teeth while expelling this cloud the stagnant ash will ignite at once, creating a violent explosion in the entire area consumed by ash.

However, while this is an effective technique it cannot heal all wounds, through it can with most injuries. This technique can also be used offensively by using the technique as a blade to sever muscle fibers or even the chakra circulatory system at the point of contact without actually cutting through the opponent's flesh.
