Request for a mission

Description: Iwa lacks green! You are to take all the small trees, which you can find before the Tsuchikage's tower. You have to plant those trees into various marked spots in the village. You also have to plant different kinds of bushes, which can also be found in front of the Tsuchikage's tower.

Netsuretsu hadn't been close the to the kage building since Talis had left. She had been within the shadows of the shinobi realm since then and had been collecting rust on her limbs. It was only until today that she picked up her headband and set out to join the Chunnin Exams. Though in order for that to happen she had to do a C rank mission. That- in itself- was the easiest part. The harder part was actually getting there.
Netsu was wearing her usual white Kimono top and blue hakama. Her wrappings peeking out from the collar. Her feet and hands completely wrapped in cotton and titanium cloth. Her black eyes making sure that every aspect of her appearance bears no conflict with the new Kage. She was for that matter simply a soldier for the Kage to move around as a pawn.
She then walked up the stairs into the main hallway and presented her headband to the main guards in front of the Kage's room. When one of the two guards went into the room to tell the Kage she had company, Netsu placed her heels together and stood up straight until she had enough time for her to enter and request the mission she needed.

The late morning sun shone through the Kage's French doors, illuminating the whole room. It was a Japanese styled large room, with a dark wooden tea table decorating the middle. The room looked pretty warm and comfortable; The perfect working place. However, it looked like something was missing. Something that was quite important to the whole furnishing. The Kage. Suddenly, an ANBU member opened the door and stepped in, only to find it empty. 'What the- How did she escape?' his thoughts stunned and anxious shot through his mind. ''What is it?'' a female voice came from somewhere the ANBU couldn't identify at first. Then he looked up, and saw his pink haired Kage hanging down from the ceiling, holding a mission report. ''L-lady Tsuchikage. Netsuretsu wishes to speak with you. Can she come in?'' he asked, kindly a bit startled though. Well, it wasn't everyday that someone saw a Kage hanging with the head down on the ceiling. The woman nodded and smiled as she released her chakra on her feet and jumped down the ceiling, her long pink hair flying behind her. She would land just in front of the girl that would walk through the door, and would smile at her in a friendly manner.

''Hello, Netsuretsu! We've never met before, have we? I'm Ralia, pleased to meet you.'' the blue eyed girl said as she stretched out her soft hand to shake the Genin's. Ralia didn't know much about Netsuretsu. Hell, she didn't know anything. She had just taken enough time to skim every Ninja's profile, to see their ranks. After all, she was spending all her day signing papers.

Netsuretsu walked into the room. It was a typical japanese-style room. Nothing to be alarmed about. Net turned her head quickly to the female Kage and stared for a long time with her stony face. It took 3 seconds to realized and understand that this was a woman devoid of tradition and ancient etiquette. Netsu ignored the handshake due to the fact that it wasn't proper to address someone as low a status as a gennin that way.

Net pulled out a piece of paper from the fold of her kimono and handed it to the Kage. " I would like a C rank mission in order to travel to the sand village and rank up to Chunnin level, Tsukage. Do you approve?" She took the hem of both of her sleeves with her thumb and stood politely with her hands in her lap waiting for a confirmation.

Realizing that the Genin had denied her shaking, she let her hand form into a fist and let it fall softly down beside her waist. Still smiling at Netsuretsu, her blue eyes were scanning the girl attentively. 'Hmm...' Rlia started overthinking things. It bothered her that the girl hadn't shaken her hand; Of course it could be because she was shy, but that didn't seem to be the case. It was something different. Something that the young female wasn't quite sure of. Furthermore, it could be because of their statuses but the Kage didn't feel that way. She firmly believed that everyone was equal.

''Oh, yes, yes, the Chuunin Exams.'' the pink haired female mumbled as she grabbed the scroll from the girl and read through it. ''Of course, you may go on that mission.'' she handed the paper back, smiling. ''If there isn't anything else I can do for you, you're dismissed.''

Netsuretsu received the signed paper back and folded it into her kimono for safe keeping. It would be an entire evening of placing the trees where they are designated. She would have to skip construction work with her father. Too bad, they needed an extra hand due to being a few short due to the landslide last week. No mind, with determination there is progress.

She bowed her head appropriately and backed out of the room, refusing to show her back to the Tsukage. She then left to the tower in order to plant the trees. When she reached the top she noticed that there were several saplings under the glasses sun, growing slowly. Having patience and understanding for the surroundings around them. She turned away from the plants and to the windows in which the light was filtering in.

As soon as she unlatched the pane from it's respective sill, she set it down and set her right foot on the bottom of the open window. She then took her right arm and clutched the side while swinging out of it. Her left side hanging out of the tower and being led by the wind along with her silky hair. After enjoying the breeze she looked at the stone handholds along the outer wall. She swung her left side onto the wall and let go of the sill. She climbed to the absolute top and took out the paper and a brush.

She then wrote down all of the marks from the tall tower and counted how many saplings she needed. After that, she climbed down and went back into the tower, returning the pane back into it's place. For that entire evening she planted all 12 saplings to their place in which was on opposite sides of the town. Once that was done, she put on a new kimono, hakama and obi. She then washed her face and combed the grime from her hair, making it silky yet again.

Once done with that, she walked back to the Kage's room. Hoping that she was there for the acceptance of the Rank C mission. Yet again she awaited for the Shinobi guard to declare her presence out in the hallway.

(why do I need to do that for a simple C rank mission that can be finished in one post? I think it would be a tad waste of space to make a topic only to lock it due to being accomplished in such a short time, though I have been waiting 6 days for an approval stamp.)

Ralia heard the guards knocking on her door saying that Netsuretsu had come back from the mission. 'So fast...?' she thought, since not even a day had passed from the mission; It was barely an hour. ''Let her in.'' the girl ordered and the Genin walked in. ''Oh, hey Netsuretsu. I see you finished your mission.'' said the Kage while smiling at the young girl. Stretching out her hand for the paper the female waited for the girl to give her the document. Once she had the paper in her hand, she walked over to her desk and stamped it with a big green 'Approved' stamp and threw it over to the approved missions. ''Good job. Dismissed.'' she said, while she was filling out the formular for Netsuretsu's mission account.
