| I believe since the admins were able to come to a conclusion as to how to embed Rinnegan without it being OP, now would be a a good time to discuss a good way to do sage abilities. The only person that's actually used sage mode was Jiryah however, there hasn't been any specific sage mode with Tsunade and her slugs, nor Orochimaru and his snakes. Therefore I believe we should find a proper means to satisfy those that may be able to hold the ability to be called a Sage of whatever. Feedback? | |

| I've already had this discussion with Kaze and I believe the topic was left on a conclusion of me writing up a technique draft to be approved, then training my character into it. The conclusion was based on a similar question I posed about a month ago, as well as the fact that I'm quite (if not the most) meticulous and unbiased when it comes to creating techniques.
In short, sages and sage mode will likely see introduction, after a well doctored creation process. This in no way means anyone gets to be Naruto, just as Revy isn't truly Pain. There will be plenty of balancing and drawbacks introduced, not to mention a presumably extensive requirements list.

| I say this because I've consistantly spoke of naizu as the canine sage and you were the first to to speak of there character as a sage in general. I'm curious as to how the system will work and play out. | |

| It's a work in progress. Unfortunately, breaking my arm has only slowed my ability to type these days. So between Sage mode, my Jinchuuriki app and day to day life, progress is at a crawl. | |

| As I had told Kitsuke, Revy, and you (Naizu), some things were to change. To be honest, I had unbanned Rinnegan without Revy's influence.
In my opinion, we don't need a sage mode to be a sage. Though I guess it makes sense for Jiraiya to have a "sage mode" and not Tsunade or another summoner. But true sages have always been here.

| A "Sage" and "Sage Mode" are 2 separate things. A sage is simply someone who's very wise, skilled, and is under a blood contract, or some type of contract with a species they are well known with. (So I've thought anyway)
Sage Mode is a form, I'm sure everyone knows what sage mode is. Basically being one with your summons. Just like if you use bleach for example, you fuse the power of a soul reaper and a hollow, and you get something even more powerful then both. It's just the combination.
Sages are allowed, but Sage Mode isn't, or at least not yet. It will be brought in soon, most likely, though i cant promise when. Sage Mode will need an actual introduction in the RP story rather then just being thrown in. SO basically as of now, it's a work in progress, and is planned to hit sometime mid RP when things pick up more, and it will be shown for the first time in RP in some epic batle or some crap maybe, idk, still gotta work everything out. But right now it's not to important seeing as it's not essential for someone to RP. But don't worry, it will be brought in sooner or later.

| I think that distinction is already well understood. Naizu distinctively stated sage "abilities", in which I assume he's speaking of Sage Mode.
As previously stated, unless Kaze forgot or changed his mind, I was given permission to work on Sage Mode, in the hopes that I'd be able to introduce it to RP in a viable, much like what has been done like the Rinnegan.
To further expand on my efforts, and to perhaps reassert permission to continue work on this, here's what I have so far.
Sage Mode Rules: 1. Sage Mode May only be Trained into. It cannot be obtained through ANY other means. 2. While there can be as many Sannin ranked ninja as those who obtain the rank, there may only be three of them who possess the Sennin Moodo, or Sage Mode Technique. 3. Sage Mode must be based off either a primary animal group, or a primary element. There can be no two sages of any one thing, the number of possible types of sages will be limited in this fashion. 4. Only two specialties can be trained into for Sage Techniques. No subs, no special characteristic versions. 5. A sage cannot be part of a clan that possesses a Kekkai Genkai. Clan's who focus on non-genetic techniques however, are still ok. 6. A sage may not learn any other "limited" techniques. Nor can someone with a limited technique learn Sage Mode.
Any suggestions are welcome. As part of the process, when the actual technique becomes approved, I was thinking of reworking my Masahiro character into a sage, dropping his rasengan and Yukina clan. As part of the introduction of Sages, I'll then bring him back into the RP as the Sage of Sages, or something that flows off the tongue a bit better. This way, he'll be unrestricted by Sage Type (Frog, Water, Snake, etc) and thus be capable of teaching anyone the Sage technique, regardless of the type they wish on going into. As a restriction, my character will be a teacher ONLY partaking in battle should his domain be breached (this domain being something akin to Mt. Myobokuzan, where Masahiro would reside). This restriction should lay to rest any doubts of me abusing the Sage Mode power, as handing it out is certainly a risk.
Annnnd, that's about it.

| Looks good, but as i said it's not something that needs looking into at the moment. It'd be best to save a copy of those rules if you haven't already though, they may be a good reference, and starting point when we actually get down to sage mode. But as for now, it's just a project for another time. | |

| With ample time on my plate, I'll continue to expand upon it. I understand the mods and admins have their hands full, but I do not, as such, I believe I'm more then a perfect candidate for the project. | |
