Hakudoshi's head snapped back to the Mizukage the very second he started to speak, listening and watching with rapt attention as his leader and self-chosen rival addressed the Nuke-Nin, raising an eyebrow behind his mask as he quickly realized that the Mizukage knew the Nuke-Nin on a personal level. He knew that would make bringing him and/or killing him should he become a threat to Kirigakure that much harder. He knew though that if he became a threat to his beloved village, earning the Mizukage's hatred and anger would be a small price to pay. After all, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few so he was going to do what was right for the village, not what was easy so he wouldn't let the Nuke-Nin's personal closeness to his Mizukage from striking him down in the event he will threaten his village.
He snapped to attention and gave the Mizukage an almost mechanical bow as he dismissed the meeting. After the Mizukage left, he heard his newest ANBU subordinate call him Short Stuff, causing him to clench his teeth tightly in anger as she disrespected him again. He was going to make sure that she started to respect her Taichou. He quickly flashed through a series of hand seals and disappeared in a swirl of water and mist.
