Rain Country The country shares borders with Earth, Fire, Grass, River, Wind and Bird. Being centrally located between many of these countries has caused it to be their battleground in past wars. Waterfall Country Not much is known of the Waterfall Country outside of Hidden Waterfall. The land surrounding the village resembles that of the Fire Country, with large trees and cliffs. Hidden Bear Village The Land of Bears is introduced in the anime, being a heavily forested country. Its ninja village, Hoshigakure, is located in the middle of the country surrounded by a canyon filled with poisonous gas that the locals call the Devil's Ravine (the Valley of Death, in the English anime).
