"i noticed." ki said. hardly paying attention to metaru and was preoccupied by looking over the black, dead hills. (oto is valley of the dead. close to the star and bear village.) the black rock was completley onyx. so no magnetism or chakra came from it. "hm...it should be arounf here somewhere..."

Cyrus looked from one man to the other repeating knowledge that he had already learned, As Ki said 'It should be around her somewhere' Cyrus thought. "I hope he's not referring to the stone the Ninja from the hidden star village use." Cyrus kept pace with the others as the ventured on. "What are you looking for Ki"Cyrus thought as he looked over at him.

ki stopped near a small shrine. it looked like one for a human. "eh, here it is." he retracted his claws to 6 feet and injected them into the holes. changing the atomic reaction. soon the shrine opend showing a dimond pit. going strait down and with no ladders nor steps. " well, lets go." he chuckled as he jumped in the hole.

Metaru raised an eyebrow, but was still confident enough in his abilities to trust in the fact that nothing would go seriously wrong. Stepping over the lip, he lowered himself slowly with his magnetism, calling out.

"How deep does this thing go?"

"few miles." ki called down. he was hovering by creating chi around the edges and blocking the fall. " plus, no one would dare come down here without my consent. Oi!! CYRUS, you coming down? or do i have to teleport you down here?"

Cyrus looked into the hole and couldn't see the bottm, "Here goes nothing."He says taking off his fathers kunai and dropping it near the sides so no one would get injured. Split second later he appeared next to Ki. "What is this place, it's all dark in here"He says trying to allow his eyes to adjust in the dark.

his eyes didnt. it was pitch black. "eh, its my home that i hang out in every decade or so. well. if we're going to fall down 6 miles of tunnels. might as well make it fun!" ki laughed as he gave cyrus back his onyx shuriken and let go of his chi. making them fall. "just keep your legs straight." he laughed.

Ok, Metaru wasn't one for falling in pitch blackness. So he did allow himself to speed up, he held his distance slightly behind Ki and Cyrus, ready to brace should something happen.

Cyrus took the kunai and placed it around his neck in just enough time before they began there plunge into darkness. "Do you have to climb out of here everyday or do you use some other method of transportation?"Cyrus asks curious about the subject. "I've got to get me one of these"Cyrus thought as the air from the fall began blowing his hair upward to the point it seemed as if he had an afro.

ki laughed. " nah. i dont climb. i just use this like an elevator. but there are hidden passageways. this place is meant for the thousands of willows. so there are catacombs for miles around. and its my job and several others to sweep the entire place. we switch once every decade. so its going to be slightly harder to persuade them not to eat you but they'll listen."

Cyrus gave a sort of laugh slash shudder as Ki spoke about persuading the other willows on not eating us. "Tell them I don't taste good, Im stuffed with ramen noodles."Cyrus says as his eyes Finnaly adjusting to the dark. As he looked to his sides he could see thousands of holes in the walls. "Sucks that you have to sweep all of these holes out."Cyrus says thanking that he didn't have to do it.

ki laughed. " nah, its easy. but its also fun. well..its time to feel gravity.". ki suddenly activated his chi and set up the same block, now it was slowly going down.

Willows, eat people? THough it was slightly discerning, Metaru wasn't any bit physically phased. He wouldn't need to worry as long as he kept that jar of Francium nearby. If what Ki said was true, the element could be potentially harming to a Willow, especially if they lived in some form of symbiotic relation with the cancer virus. Regardless, he continued to follow the Willow down the hole.

"So, why exactly are we going down here?"

"well, one i need to do my round abouts here, two there are some good snack and three you dont want to be 4 miles away from the death plains, because they are almost completely made out of metal and magnets. thats why people die here, and because of the noxiouse gas. so when theres a storm, weverything goes underground. because there will be fire works on the surface." ki smiled as they stepped on black stone. he released his chi and began to walk down the halway. no fire came since it was meant for willows so he raised his hand. it turned blacker than the walls. and soon, fire came out of hispalm. " better?"

there was a flurry of white hair. a smack, thump and the lights went out from kis hand. a red orb apeard and floated above them. there was a four foot two, white haired girl standing ontop of kis neck stabbing him with two hlaf swords. she was mumbling something in a different language. (red means willow language) " why would you bring them down here? you know im training down here and yet you bring them??!?!?!?"

"miyuki....stop stabbing me. your scaring them." ki mumbled through the pressure in his throat. miyuki had stabbed him in his rib cage, which was soaked with black blood. " now get off me so i can heal." the last part he made his voice flat to match the rolling and rasps of his main language.

Metaru had raised his hand, and was milliseconds away with blasting the new Willow with a large pulse. In his time with Ki, he had learned to tune his magnetism to their specific flesh charges, that is, if they didn't change them, then he needed to re-tune. Just before he could unleash a wave of his chakra, Ki spoke up, chastising the willow. Metaru's eyes watched them carefully, his hand lowering back to his side. Noticing the Willow blood on the ground, a thin strand of metal swept up a few droplets, then disappeared before it could even be noticed, returning the blood to where it was buried deep within Metaru's back disk.

"And I thought you were a calm people Ki..."

Cyrus raised his kunai to the what seemed to be girls neck. "I would do as he says, or pay the consequence."Cyrus says with a smile that charmed everyone. Cyrus lowered the kunai giving the girl a chance to release herself from Ki. "No need to kill her Metaru"He says as he saw him raise his hands up.

He smiled at Cyrus in turn, "No need to throw caution to the wind either. Besides, it wouldn't have killed her, just thrown her for a toss down this tunnel here."

kis eyes suddenly turn black and he frowned. even though he was still laying on the ground. " i would you suggest you not threaten my daughter."

miyuki hardly even glanced at cyrus before she cut the kunai in half with her black claw. " ill mess with my father however i want uzimaki." then she got up and pulled her swords out of kis chest.

ki got up and as soon as he did, his blood jumped back in his wounds. even the one stuck in metarus back. and sealed up the wound. making not even a scar. he looked at his torn robes. "aw jeez, first the fire, then the shards and now this!?!"

miyuki just stared coldly at ki. " you disgust me..." she turned and as she walked down the hallway the orb of red light followed her

ki streched and followed his daughter. smiling while he was doing it. he inclided for them to follow. " she may be hard on you guys but shes......wait- no shes hard on the inside too..."

Cyrus smirked at the childs failed attempts to break his kunai, he moved it out of the way in seconds before she swiped. "Temper temper little ladie."Cyrus thought as he followed Ki. "So where are we going now."Cyrus asked as he kept walking.
