The profits of recent discoveries.

"I know it happens to be the floor, but you know, water table? Underground river? You're how many years old and you don't know what a water table is?" Whatever..."

Metaru looked back at his hook, which was now trying to swim away from him, "Haha, got one!" Pulling it back, he set the hook. "Oooh, it's big..." Hauling back, he finally managed to pull the shark up and through the hole, reaching in it's mouth to remove the hook. Putting it on the plate, he looked expectantly at Ki, "I'm guessing you can make that thing cooked alot faster then I can, specially with them freaky eyes of yours. Just don't touch it, I don't need to eat something that has cancer!"

ki smiled. " i wont." ki quickly made a knife and cut it into peices and removed all the non edibles. he then put them in a bowl filled with some kind of broth and as he turned his hand black, fire emitted from his hand under the bowl. when it started to boil, he stopped and put some miso in. he set it in front of metaru with a side of rice. " miso fish soup." ki smiled and sat down waiting for mentarus comment on the food and cyruses reqest for food.

Metaru taste tested the soup, gingerly, his spoon floating to his mouth and ingesting it before his lips split into a look of satisfaction.

"Delicious Ki! I'm surprised, you're very hospitable. How often do the Willows have guests?"

"eh....not very often. the only reason why i can cook is because i took a job once at a tea shop..."

"Well it's very commendable of you. I must say, this humble little home of yours is absolutely delightful."

Shoveling his soup now Metaru stopped only rarely to ask another question. "So, do you have a leader, for the Willows that is?"

"...............yah...but hes morbid beyond beleif.."

Metaru paused for a moment, letting his tongue soak up the gentle shark flesh.

"Morbid?"

"yes, ever since i granted him the atom eye all he does is stare into space and talk about bloodlust....well, if i was human and i was granted that and was overwhelmed by power i think i would go goth too...actually at our base that is what everyone wears...."

Metaru coughed for a moment.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa... He's human?" Wiping his jaw he removed the extra soup. "The atom eye can be possessed by a human? And you can do this?"

"eh....every five years yes.."

"Only you can, or other Willows may do the same? Are you an elder of sorts?"

"....im sort of the chikage head advisor. im suposed to find, make and train the chikage. along with showing him how we run things...."

Cyrus leaned against the back wall as he heard the two speak of the Chikage. "How does it feel to have to make choices that will either benefit or harm your clan"Cyrus says as listens with his hands in his pockets.

"eh.....im not the chikage cyrus.....kitaro is..."

"Hm....is he from your clan. I believe he's the Raikage."He says pausing. "Right."Cyrus says as he looks around.

Metaru started back up on his soup, the bowl nearly finished.

"So, how are your people born then, or are they made?"

" we inject our blood in an animal fetus and let nature take its course. we all have a sugnature animal and if we discover it. we will 100x in power. unfortunaltly i havent found mine out yet since i ate my father and mother....lol. miyuki tried to do that to me...."

"So, what I'm hearing, is you used to be human, you're all spawned from one original. Now, you inject the blood of yourselves, this darker substance, into the animals. Interesting. Potentially, if someone had the right genetic code, as I'm sure not anything would work, they could start their own form of Willow clan."

ki sighed. " that has already happend...."

Metaru paused in wonder, noting Ki's, discontent with the subject.

"And I'm assuming a certain sect of your clan needed to go tie up the loose ends, correct?"

"eh.......yes."

Cyrus smirked, "Well guess that was a pretty little battle"Cyrusl says as he closes his eyes. He shuddered abit, "It's pretty cold down here. How can you stand it"Cyrus says reaching into his jacket and unrolling his sleeves.

ki turned around. " its cold?!?!?! sorry, since ive been cut like sushi so many times i cant feel hardly anyting..." ki made a clearing, threw a wooden chair in the middle of the room and set fire to it. "ah, is that better?"

Metaru shrugged, not really noticing the cold, but he was eating warm soup.

"Either way Ki, that soup was still delicious.Has the storm passed?"

Cyrus placed his hand to the cave wall, "Hmm it seems to have calmed down, there are still clouds in the sky, by the storm has passed."Cyrus says smiling. He then pulled up a chair near the fire, "Thank you, I needed that"He says rubbing his hands together.
