Looking For Hokou [AKATSUKI AND LEAF NIN ONLY]

I looked round the corner.
Nothing.
This part of town had been deserted ever since the fight started.
But now even the Leaf ninja had gone.
"Ugh" I groaned and rounded the corner.
There was just rubble.
No Bijuu.

A piece of rubble rolled out in front of me.
Two streets away and still nothing.
All the still-standing shops were locked with the curtains drawn.
It seemed that everyone was either hiding in their houses or they'd ran off to another part of town.
"Nothing" I spat harshly.
Hokou had to be round here somewhere.
Miyuki couldn't have moved her that far.

I held my arm out in front of me with my palm open.
"metaru".
Old beams,supports,bars and every other piece of metal in the square shot out from its hiding place
and formed a huge ball a metre in front of my hand and began to rust violently.
10 seconds later the ball of metal collapsed into a pile of rusty red dust.
I groaned again.
The ninja's hadn't even left any of their weapons.

My long fringe blew out my eye's
They were closed.
I was listening for something or anything that might help me find my target.
"Huh" I faltered there was someone breathing, I focused on the sound.
It was Kitsuke.
He began to move towards me.
I recognised his tread as well.
No doubt.

It was Kitsuke recognizing E who was one of his meant to be comrades...
"What are you doing here?"

"Looking for Hokou"
"I thought that fight earlier would have made that obvious".
I turned round to face Kitsuke.
"What do you want anyway".

"You didn't make your point there..."
"I wanted to confront you..."

"Confront me?!"
I smiled.
"Everyone's been trying to do that lately".
"And I'm guessing its beacuse of these black robes I'm wearing?"

"Yap..."
"Why did you join Akatsuki.."
"Care to tell me the story...?"

"I have my reasons" I said suddenly becoming defensive.
"Anyway what do you care what I do".
Kitsuke was staring at me unrelentlessly.

"I dont understand why?"
"It was just a matter of time when you joined Gyouan..."
"And I just heard the news...you've joined Akatsuki..."

"My idea's changed"
"thats all"
"I decided I could do more in Akatsuki than I could in Gyouan".

"What could you do with a group of mercilless killers...?"

"I could do what I want to do"
I looked into Kitsuke's eyes.
"Not that you'd understand".

"Hmmmm...ok"
"But I wont let you get Hokou.."

"Ugh"
I was still looking into Kitsuke's eyes.
"I need Hokou"
"But not for the reasons you think".

"What do you think I am thinking about what are you going to do with Hokou...?"
"Huh...Do you want it for Akatsuki or for your own good...?"

" I guess you could call it my own good"
I was chewing my lip while I thought about it.
" Either way I need Hokou".

"For it's powers....?"
"Or something else..."
The Wind breeze is blowing...like a balloon...

" Something else I guess"
" I wont be using their powers, or at least I'll try not to".
"Its complicated. So just let me get on with it".

"Try just dont include other innocent people..."
"If Hokou was a free demon roaming around I am going to let you..."
"But it has a host...."

"I have seals that can keep a person alive after extraction".
" Don't think that I didn't think this through".
I turned my head a looked across the square.
Still nothing.

Metaru flickered into position at Eiichiro's side at this point.

"No signs of her around the village perimeters, no chakra trails either. Wherever she is, she's still within the village." He then looked up, meeting Kitsuke's eyes. "Surprised you're up so fast, mercury poisoning and all." he then turned to leave, talking to Eiichiro again. "I'll check the western quadrant, call me if there's trouble."

Mizuki hid herself nearby, concealing her prescence by staying within a fair number of people. She prayed that this would'nt put kitsuke or any of the others in danger

"Mizuki come out I can hear you".
I looked in Mizuki's direction.
"Don't try and hide I know you breathing patterns".
