it is pretty much a message board that says new posts and things like that. You can also get to the normal index so there is no reason to not have a portal. I vote yes

I am sure that they do but i cant think of one off the top of my head. In the beginning i didn't like it because i thought it meant that we couldn't view the index but then i realized that there is a link to the index from the portal. After that i couldn't find anything wrong.
