| Eki walked along calmly, his eyes slowly scanning the cinder charred walls of what used to be some of the lower recesses of the Hidden Sound Village. To Eki's knowledge, the village itself was practically destroyed, or at least it seemed to be. The sound had few nin, and reconnaissance had told the cloud village that the village's leader was currently a major piece in another village's military, consuming most of his time. Because of this, it gave cloud the perfect opening to retrieve any information or interesting items from the bases' yet to be restored areas.
Continuing down the path, Eki dragged his halberd behind him, allowing it to make a high pitched grinding noise, the occasional spark coming off of it as the weight came down upon random pieces of metal and other scattered objects. Eventually, the path opened into a large chamber, crowded with what appeared to be operating tables and medical supply shelves. Making his way over to the supply shelves, Eki made a quick note of the other doors in the room, one appearing to be an office. After the scan through the medical supplies proved fruitless (Eki barely knew what half of it was), he moved on to the office.
Pushing the door open slowly with one hand, the cloud jounin tightened his grip around his weapon, only releasing it after seeing the office was clearly devoid of all life, cobwebs being the only hint of any intelligence. Taking a harder look, the office appeared to have belonged to Orochimaru himself, ornate designs resembling various snakes cluttered here and there. Moving round to the desk, Eki got to work rifling through the drawers, eventually coming across multiple scrolls, one containing detailed information on the curse seal. Lifting it out of the drawer, the Gisou member was shaking his head, and decided to withdraw some matches from his pocket, lighting a candle on the desk. Not only did this give him more light, he proceeded to burn the scroll. Going back to the drawer, Eki read through a few more scrolls, one making him raise an eyebrow. As he moved to burn it as well, he stopped, frozen holding the scroll inches above the fire. Closing his eyes, he then retreated, and the scroll found it's way deeper into Eki's robes. The door then creaked, Eki's hands shooting to his halberd.

| As the door opened, the silhoute of a man, could be seen emrging from the shadows. As the light from the candle, revealed who it was, the man said, " Eki-Taichou, i came as soon as i was informed of your wherebouts. Please excuse me tardiness. Awaiting orders ". It was none other than Koshiro, a Chuunin frmo the Hidden Cloud Village. As he stood in an attentive position, he looked at Eki, with his Deep Blue eye's. He was quite formal though that was not how he noramlly talked to Eki. But he knew that while on a mission, Eki was his superior, and due respect was in order. While he waited for a response, he notice the Wierd Snake Marking in the Room. He noticed the Open File cabinet, and the Candle, with ashes of the burnt scrolls, next to it. His smile turned to a scowl, when he saw the ashes. " Captain, With all due respect, only an idiot would burn these scrolls. It is important we store them, for we do not know, if Orochimaru is truly dead, or weather he has just changed bodies, and hiding to let his powers recupirate " and with that, his gentle gaze turned into a sharp stare. | |

| Seeing Koshiro, Eki's hands immediately left his blade, his eyes returning to the filing cabinet.
"At ease Koshiro."
He then listened intently, heeding Koshiro's advice, although finding it irrelevant.
"I've read through a few of them, and the reversal techniques are indeed worth saving, however, the knowledge of forbidden jutsu I'd rather restrict to Orochimaru alone. His cursed seals and resurrections don't need to fall into the wrong hands. There's a second office down the next hall, search it for any information pertaining to reversing any negative effects placed on the world by the evil sannin. Other then that, destroy all unnecessary scrolls, I'll be doing the same here."
He then returned to unrolling various scrolls, scanning through them, and burning them.

| Nodding his head, he stepped out and instantly used Shunshin, to move from the hallway to the passage leading downstairs. As he jumped down, 4 stairs at a time, he heard a clicking noise, and before he knew it, spears were shooting out at him from the walls. As his eye's spread wide open, he ducked and summersalted ont othe sealing, where he stood, as calm as a lake. As he dropped down to look at the spears, noticed that they were completely coated in a purple colored liquid, that seemed to corode the wall. He took out an ademantine scalpel, and stored it in, what seemed to be a small pouch, that seemed to be coated with platinium on the inside, to prevent a reaction. As he placed the bag in his pocket, he ran, with an even faster pace, till he reached what seemed to be a dark tunnel, covered in some sort of shining substance. Nodding to himself, he backed away a bit, and ran with all he had, and finally, as he reaches the enterance of the cage, he released a large amount of chakra from his feet, covering the entire distance in one leap. As he started breathing heavily after such a large release of chakra. He could see the ground from which he leapt was smashed to bits. As he proceeded further, he noticed a tall wall, with only one wall, placed 10 feet above the ground. Understanding that the Sannin Orochimaru was a genius at setting traps, he used the same technique as before, but instead of backing up for a running start, he threw a Kunai with a string attached to pull himself up, from 8 to a full 10 ft. As he reached the door, he charged his arm with chakra and burst through the door, and rolled down to avoid any traps. As he got back up, he took out two Kunai and dodged a dagger from his left, and two arrows from his right. He felt releaved that he managed to dodge them, because his Kunai were melting, from just touches the blades of the Projectiles. As he got up, he stood dtill and observed for any more traps. Finding no more, he proceeded to check the room, following Eki's orders to burn the scrolls and documents that were hazardous in the wrong hands, but not before memorizing them with his photographic memory. He placed the other scrolls in his bag, and continued the same process, finding, and either storing or burning. | |

| Burning the last scroll, Eki raised his head to the twang of arrows. Clearly what was in the other office may have been important, as there weren't any traps up to this point. Either that, or an enemy nin had found them and set them. Dashing out of the office, Eki reduced himself to merely a shadow, in order to avoid any other surprises that would be triggered by his physical self. Not seeing a body, he made it to the next office, returning to his good old self after seeing Koshiro was unharmed.
Breathing a sigh of relief, he then looked down at Koshiro's work. "More scrolls? It's amazing how many techniques Orochimaru knew... Anything else important looking?"
Daira Kage no Jutsu [Flat Shadow Technique] Rank: C Daira Kage is a technique developed by the Gisou clan. By charging themselves with chakra, they can flatten themselves thoroughly, turning into a shadow. Movement in this form is difficult, as it requires moving through the shadows of other objects. Any direct light will end this jutsu.

| "When you are able to surpass mortality, even if only by body snatching, its probably easier to acquire more and more jutsu, wouldn't you imagine?" The voice was clearly feminine, Sunari was leaning against a wall, twirling one of the arrows in interest, flicking some of the poison onto a wall and watching it corrode. Much like Koshiro she'd taken a sample, instead mixing it with a base so that it was now less potent and had put it in a pouch she'd long ago laced with Isonade's cold and smooth chakra, letting the poison mix further with that. This way she could just dissect the compound later without fear of it burning equipment. Kumori could be seen behind her, sending constant looks down the hallway and sniffing the air for enemies. In front of her was now a black wolf with striking blue eyes, looking down the other hallway lest there be enemies that way.
"My guess would be that he's been sneaking into villages left and right, or sending others, to steal some of the scrolls as they seem to be originals," this time she sounded almost ticked-off, rather than only mildly intrigued, though it was an understatement, as she'd found some of the original scrolls from her own clan back when they'd been excellent sealers of the bijuu. Although...if one thought about it, a bijuu's quick healing capabilities would at least prevent a body's decay, or slow it down dramatically. Perhaps such was his plan, as she'd found decaying corpses that he'd tried to combine either with lesser demons or with animals once summoned by the ninja. Truly a sick man. "Also found what appear to be promising medical scrolls in Kabuto's own little 'medical office'," only it appeared something like a second lab, but she'd found old reports on some of the old Sound Five.

| Eki turned his head, Sunari's entrance being enough to make a normal person jump. She had spend far too much time around wolves, that much was certain. Listening to his team member, he nodded to himself a couple times. Most of what she said was true, although not necessarily a surprise. Kabuto's lab reports were promising however.
"Perimeter report?"
He had just recalled what she had been assigned to do before making the hair on the back of his neck stand on end. All she had said until, though interesting, was relatively meaningless if they had already been compromised. Taking a glance down at the wolves, it seemed they were already weary for intrusion. This could mean one of two things; they had been found out, or they wanted to keep it so that they weren't.

| A smirk appeared for a second...before she stood straight, throwing the arrow at the wall and ignoring the resulting hissing sound. "There was not much in the ways of skilled nins, though we took out three that had been considering trying to raid this place for their own. Other than that there was a gang of rowdy drunkards we were forced to deal with as well. Made it look like the sound-nin took them out though and then hid the other three's bodies." Well...there was hiding bodies and then there was hiding ashes.
Meaning that any threats had been dealt with, and the two wolves were merely taking precautionary measures. Currently...she had someone else guarding the entrance who could hide a lot better than most, her left eye closed so as not to reveal the difference just in case. Shukaku would tell her if anybody stepped on him, and she'd be able to see their unlucky and untimely demise as well unless they were more careful about their foot placement near the entrance. Sand being spread out lightly on the dirt, but a mass pile underneath at the entrance.

| Koshiro just looked at Sunari, and nodded, acknowledging her presence. He didn't nessecarily approve of Sunari's methods, though he found them effective. As he went through the remaining documents, he found something funny. While most of the documents he brunt were important, they were about the Cursed Seal, and Ressurection. He found it strange that the only documents they found were about Jutsu they had either seen or learnt about, or the info on which may have been leaked.
He realized that there was another stash of scrolls, hidden somewhere, to avoid detection. Probably those scrolls that were far to important to let anyone aside from Orochimaru, even Kabuto or Sasuke, see. He thought for a bit, and came to the conclussion that the scrolls were in the office, seeing as this was the most well protected room in the base. He understood that the other scrolls were meant to make it look like they were the only important ones in the office, so that if anyone even avoided the traps, he would only look at these and leave. Ingenius, though not fullproof.
As he dropped the scroll in his hand, he pushed the desk, to a spot below the cieling. Apparently, this was the only spot that was not covered with any tattoos or markings. Probably to make it look inconspicious, but make vaguely noticable. As he stepped on the desk, he tapped on the spot twice. He was right. Hollow. He did it two more time's and heard the same sound, and confirmed that this was the place where the scrolls where hidden. He turned to face Eki and Sunari, and said, " If you thought those were important, then look at these ", and saying that, punched a hole through the wall, making sure not damage any of the scrolls that fell out from there. He picked up the one that was the most ordinary looking, and opened it, and his eye's Widened. As he read through it, his surprised look turned into an enraged scowl, and looking at it with disgust, he threw it at the flame, burning it completely before either Eki or Sunari could read it. Looking at them he said, " Don't even ask me what was in that scroll. I'd rather die than have to repeat what i read in there " and continued to unwrap, the other scrolls.
