Haneri walks to the gates of Konoha, and finds the gate. He knocks politely on it, and the shinobi guards tell him to leave immediately. He tries to convince them that he is just a wanderer only stopping for the night for a good nights sleep and some bread, but to no avail. Nevertheless, he will not give up on finding a good night's sleep and a meal, something that he has been craving for four years. He sits on the ground outside the village, and hopes that a passing shinobi or village member will come and help him get into Konoha. In the meanwhile, hunger and fatigue start to creep up on him, and he struggles to stay awake. No shinobi have passed in the last hour.
