Personality:
Warugi
Warugi is cold, pitiless, and merciless. He is, as his name suggests, a cold-hearted killer. He doesn't care about anyone, and sees no reason to believe that anyone is worth saving. He holds no value for human life, only sees it as a toy. Warugi feeds off of death, and prefers to bring about that death with his bare hands or hammer. He despises everything, and loves nothing. Warugi is abusive with everyone he meets, and is always the first to start a fight. He is also usually the one to end it.

Kidate
Kidate is a warm person. He is loyal to his organization, cares for all of its members, and hates the thought of any of them being harmed. He is also logical, however, and he knows how to control his feelings and opinions while doing his job. He is generous, loyal, and peaceful. He is never one to start a fight, but he will finish it if he has to. Kidate is friendly, but only to those that are allied to him. He is very promiscuous. Kidate is open and bold about his intentions with both woman and men, since he has taken a liking to both. Unlike the others, Kidate prefers fighting with ninjutsu and his kekkei genkei.

Tsumi
Tsumi is a very intimidating person. He is hateful, cold, and has a short temper. He is, however, intelligent. He has taught
himself how to calm down, and know when he can't win. He enjoys killing, because of his nature, but is disgusted with himself for it. He hates himself, and all "demons". Tsumi refers to anyone who likes killing as a "demon". Due to the self-hatred that he holds, he is very melancholy on a constant basis. He never has something kind to say about himself, but is always the first to compliment someone else. He likes most living things, but hates any and all "demons", or humans that would like to believe that they are "demons". Tsumi prefers to fight with his staff.

Batsu
Batsu is a spiteful person. he enjoys getting his revenge, and will not let anyone stop him from doing so. He can hold a grudge until the day he dies, and has an excellent memory. Unlike most of the other personalities, Batsu is a gentle person with those he doesn't want to kill. He doesn't enjoy senseless violence, and really doesn't like wasting his energy. If he doesn't have a grudge and its not his job, he won't raise a finger against you. Batsu is extremely lazy, and prefers to get others to do his fighting. He prefers fighting with his spear.

Gouzen:
Little is known of Gouzen's personality because he has only taken control once. He is a very proud and independent person, refusing to take help from anyone. This is why he never takes control, he finds it pathetic that he would have to use such a weak little body to live. He looks down on everyone, and will befriend no one. Gouzen prefers to fight with his sword.

Kugo sighed as a man charged at him at full speed. The man was named Haruko, and was a high-level shinigami of the Ragnarock’s 11th division. He raised his blade to Kugo’s rib cage, slashing out at a speed that would amaze and stun most. Kugo simply jumped backward, moving with agility that most wouldn’t expect from someone who focused everything he had into Kidou. However, Kugo had also spent many years training in Shunpo and hand-to-hand combat; he was just not very good with a sword. Haruko continued to slash as Kugo dodged, never coming closer than a half an inch from Kugo. Haruko’s final attack was a clever one. He released his shikai to distract Kugo, casting up a screen of dust because of the force of his reiatsu. As Kugo covered his face, he noticed a movement in the screen. Suddenly, a crescent blade shot forward and toward Kugo’s rib cage. It caught his Haori, and cut it but didn’t reach his skin; Kugo had shunpo’d away too quickly. When the screen cleared Kugo saw Haruko’s shikai for the first time.
The shikai was very similar to a farmer’s scythe, and it looked like it was only good for cutting crops. Kugo contemplated this as Haruko charged once again, the blade coming down on Kugo in a blur of brown and black. Cursing under his breath, he drew Seisen and brought it up to meet the blade. Suddenly, Seisen morphed. In a flash of brilliant purple light it turned into an elegant staff. The staff was made of pure black steel, with a head that looked to be made of amethyst. It was beautifully carved, and gilt in silver. Pushing on the heavy scythe, he sent Haruko back a few meters as he took up a defensive stance. He raised the staff to chest level, keeping it parallel to the ground and firmly grasped in his right hand. He raised his left hand and began to condense reiatsu around it. "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens." He commanded, as the reiatsu formed into two blue-white orbs. Hado number seventy-three, Sōren Sōkatsui. Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down!” They shot forward, arching around as they came in to crash on either side of Haruko. As they met they exploded, covering the area in blue-white flames and smoke. When the smoke finally cleared, Haruko was nowhere to be seen. He reappeared to Kugo’s left, only landing for a second before shunpo’ing to his right.
Haruko disappeared once again, reappearing exactly where Kugo had expected: Right above him. The scythe blade came down as Haruko fell straight toward Kugo. Raising his left hand to the sky he didn’t even bother with an incantation. White lightning formed around his finger tips and fired into the air, singing the man’s shoulder and cutting into the bone. ”Hado number four, Byakurai. White Lightning!” He howled in pain, spiraling in the air to land on his feet once again. Dropping the scythe, he cursed under his breath and admitted defeat. There was no way he could continue with the spar without his good arm, no way could he carry his shikai with one hand, and no way could he win without shikai. Kugo bowed to him, sealing his shikai into the form of a blade once again. Placing the blade back in its sheath, he walked over to examine the wound. With little effort he healed it back up, leaving a massive scar as a reminder of the battle. ”Next time, think before you act. You 11th divisions really need to keep a straight head in battle. It isn’t always about going full force.” He said, feeling like he was preaching. As if Haruko knew exactly what Kugo was thinking, he responded in an aggravated tone.

”Alright, alright. Keep your lectures to yourself, old man. I could have beaten you if I wasn’t afraid of killing you.” He said confidently, grabbing his blade with white-knuckle force. He placed the blade back in his black obi sash and stood back up. Cursing under his breath, he turned to leave.
”You’re leaving so soon? So you really don’t want my training?” Kugo asked with mock disappointment. The truth was training 11th division shinigami was a pain for anyone outside of the 11th division. They were so hot headed at times. He smiled at Haruko as he turned slowly, a look of confusion on his face. ”The deal was that if I won you’d train me.” He said to Kugo, obviously not happy about the fact that he had lost. He was even more pissed when he saw Kugo smiling. Turning around, he snapped back his fist in preparation to punch Kugo in the jaw. Suddenly, Kugo was two inches away from him. His slim, bony fingers wrapped around both Haruko’s wrist and his neck. The strength that Kugo possessed was easy to measure when he was that close, and Haruko felt the air draining from his body.
As Haruko gasped for air, Kugo began to talk. ”Listen, Haruko. You don’t like the way I do things you can leave. But never raise a fist to me unless we are training, you got that? Now, it is my obligation to train anyone who wants my training. You were the idiot that made the bet, and I’m a betting man. So, do you want the training or not?” He asked in a slightly malicious tone. Suddenly realizing that Haruko couldn’t speak without oxygen, he loosened his grip on Haruko’s throat and let him drop limply to the ground. Haruko gasped for air, taking in as much as he could for several seconds before wheezing a response. ”Of course I want the damned training. I need my bankai, and I need it fast.”
”Good, we begin next week at dawn. Until then, learn how to think.” Kugo replied, before turning around and walking away from the training arena. When he reached the trees he shunpo’d away, leaving Haruko to think and breathe.

Kyuui Tsukurite:
The Gyouan clan was formed by the five greatest elemental shinobi of their time. Kun, of fire; Shun, of Water; Fun, of Wind; Sun, of Earth; and finally, Jun of Lightning. These five shinobi banded together to form the "Kyuui Tsukurite" or, Peace Makers. They traveled throughout the five nations, bringing peace and preaching harmony. However, powerful as they were, it was difficult for them to stay alive. The nations that didn't fall to their preaching did not like the Kyuui Tsukurite, and placed bounties on all of their heads. The leaders who had placed the bounties knew that no one would succeed, but wanted to slander their name by pushing them to violence. The Kyuui would not fight back, though, and utilized the thousands of peaceful jutsu that they had taught themselves to stop the bounty hunters without actually hurting them. This only helped to improve their public image, and gained them even more support. After years of preaching and running, the Kyuui Tsukurite finally got all five of the main Kages to agree to sign the great treaty. The Kyuui Tsukurite had brought the world into a peaceful state for two decades before war broke out.

The Great War:
The nations broke out into war after Sunagakure attempted to invade the smaller villages of Amegakure and the River Country. They had already taken over the Bird Country before the great treaty, but they had gotten greedy. Infuriated, because Amegakure was under Kirigakure's protection, Kirigakure declared war on Sunagakure. There was nothing that the Kyuui could do to stop it, because Sunagakure had broken the treaty. Konoha took sides with Kirigakure, Iwagakure took sides with Sunagakure, and Kumogakure was divided. They split into two minor countries, Kumogakure and Raigakure. Raigakure took sides with Suna, and Kumo took sides with Kiri. The great war could not be stopped, and it raged on for hundreds upon hundreds of days. Days led into months, and months led into years, and finally the Kyuui said enough was enough. They broke apart and went to plead with each of the respective villages. Jun sent one of his masterfully crafted thunder clones off to plead with Rai as he went to plead with Kumo. The villages would not have it, and chose to capture and execute the five great shinobi. On the day of their execution, the five shinobi only smiled down at the protesters. These shinobi had been their disciples, and learned everything they could from their masters. As the blades fell upon the shinobi's heads they activated their final ninjutsu. Their souls broke apart and flew out to the shinobi that had been learning their ways. The last of the shinobi to die was Fun, and his voice resonated throughout the area. "We have blessed you, my children. Take this blessing, you are the new 'Gyouan'. A new hope for the world."

The Gyouan:
Most of the Shinobi had no idea what Fun had meant, but some did. These few banded together and formed a counsel, calling all of those who had been a part of the group of disciples to come to a meeting. It was there that it was decided that any shinobi who had been blessed that day would become a part of the newly formed Gyouan clan. The clan would work to make peace, in any way necessary. These peace preachers resorted to everything from civil disobedience, to war. They had great power, and they would learn to use it. They became a migratory clan, meeting once every year at sunrise to discuss the goings-ons of the world around them.

Each and every clan member wears the traditional armor, which bears the kanji symbol for peace on the back and front of the chest plate. The armor is bulky, and white with golden trim. The shoulder plates are massive, giving plenty of room for the arms to move. The chest plate fits tightly to the body, and is very flexible to allow for movement. The plate legs are less flexible, but have plenty of joints for the user to move their legs. There is no helmet that comes with the armor.

Kekkei Genkei: The Gyouan kekkei genkei is a unique one. It lies in the user's mastery of the elements. They have an innate talent for using the elements they are born with at a level no one else could ever hope to learn. They also gain extra elements as they develop, tapping into the deep innate talent given to them by their founders. The third and final aspect of the kekkei genkei is the melding of elements. Depending on what their elements are, the user can combine them to form new elements. This is not an ability, but every member of the Gyouan clan takes the traits of an animal. ((ie, Birds=wings, Cat=Ears and tail, etc.)) Elements are listed as such:

History

Birth and Academy
Kidate grew up in a rough neighborhood, and it was as tough as it got for a kid. He had only his father to support him, and he was old and near death through most of Kidate's childhood. Kidate had to fend for himself, and spent most of his childhood learning to fight. Everywhere he went alone he'd be jumped and attacked, the shinobi never doing a thing about it. However, Kidate never grew cold or hateful. He simply used it as motivation to gain power. Close to the death of Kidate's father, Kidate learned that he had an innate talent for using the wind element. His father never got the chance to tell him of his clan. Kidate went to the academy an orphan, and a surprisingly kind child. He made many friends, and excelled in classes. When he used his new wind-bending talents against the children who liked to jump him he gained respect. Now when he walked home alone he could do so without fear. He would soon pass the academy and move on to be a genin.

Genin in Kumogakure:
Kidate spent all of his short time as a gennin of Kumogakure without a teacher or teammate. He did missions alone and successfully, and he did so without complaint. Kidate became known as the Kaze Shokkou, the wind weaver. He was an elementalist of sorts, and rivaled by no other in the art of wind ninjutsu. It was shortly before he left the cloud that he fell in love with a woman rivaled by no other in his eyes. A kaguya, and a fighter, the woman was everything Kidate needed to live. But, she left the cloud suddenly and crush Kidate. Deciding to find the power it would take to be her equal when he found her again, he went to the sand. It was on the way to the sand that he found the first of the Apocalyptic thirteen. Warugi began to morph Kidate, feeding off of his soul and the souls of his opponents.

Sunagakure:
Kidate met his hero in the sand as a jounin, Sei the kazekage. Kidate found Tsumi and Batsu shortly after joining the sand and becoming close friends with Kisuke Maru. Even then, Kidate never forgot about Hybris. He now speculates that that might have been the only reason he had remained human for so long. Kidate took on a mission against the stone with his two new friends. It was successful in his eyes, though they hadn't destroyed it. Kidate was able to poison, crush, and destroy plenty in the stone village. The plan was brilliant in his eyes. Little did he know that his world would be coming to an end soon. Sei left to join the Akatsuki, for a reason unknown to Kidate. He left with Tsumi, and didn't look back. A few months after the departure, he returned for Kisuke's bijuu. Well, as far as Kidate knew that was the reason. Kidate fought him with all he had, but it was no use. He was hit by a puppet device that would seal his chakra away, and that would be his death.

The Deal/A new life:
As kidate lay in darkness, unable to move or call out, he heard four voices enter his head. The fourth voice was one he didn't recognize, but was introduced as Gouzen. The four voices offered him a deal. They would let him live if he gave up his body to them as a temporary home. Taking the deal, in the hopes that he would be able to see Hybris once again soon, Kidate returned to life. He left the sand that day without anyone noticing, and it was announced that his body was lost in the sand. Kidate traveled the country, trying to find relatives to stay with that his father might not have told him about. It was then that he found the Gyouan. They took him in and taught him to use his power, and of the lore of their clan. He promised to go out and spread piece, though the four voices that shared the body knew just as well as he did that he would not. Kidate knew exactly where to look for Hybris next, and he would do anything to get there. Kidate then went out in search of the Akatsuki. He was determined to join up in their ranks, and to find Hybris. If she wasn't there, he would use their resources to find her.
