"Yes, i know, but that happens so rarely for me that I've fallen out of practice, but I'm more than willing to brush up on my mental abilities."

ki laughed. " underestimate noboby."

Modorokie walks in with a medium soda and a bag of popcorn to watch the fight with.

"anyway, here are a few scrolls and things you have to finish before sundown." he pulled out hundreds of scrolls of acupunture, vein system, star mapping, riddles, diagrams, and arcutecture. "read these and memorise them. ill be over there. he walked torward a cherry tree.

Kisho looked at how low the sun was and than looked at how many scrolls there were and said "I might be a quick study but there is no way i can finish all of these scrolls before sundown, tomorrow maybe, but not today, but i'll finish as many as i can" he began reading a scroll on the vein system

"and memorise them too please. and when your done, finished or not, ill have to teach you throoughout the night."

"If that's the case than mind running back to the bar and getting me a cup of coffee or tea to help me stay awake" he finished reading the scroll he was on, put it down, and began reading one about battle field tactics

ki held up a bag. "already did. but its tea instead. plus, i bet youll be able to sleep right through it.heh."

"Thank you" he said as he took a sip from the cup of tea "And what do you mean i'll sleep right through it, i thought we were going to be training all night" he finished another scroll and began trying to figure out the riddles in another one

" what does training mean and what are we working on today?"

"Training is the bettering of one's skills through practice and exercises and what we are working on honing my mental abilities." as he looked of into the distance as he pondered the meaning of a riddle

ki began to take a nap, but he was holding a list of answers in his hand.

"You think i'm gonna take those answers, i might be a murderer but even i have ethics." he finished with the riddles and began reading one about acupuncture

"who said it was the answers to your work? its the answers to my cross puzzle." he sat up and pulled out the newspaper. "okay.......civil rights preacher......jessie jackson...."

"Well having the answers to a puzzle your doing seems to be a little cheap, just doesn't feel the same as something you figure out yourself." he took another sip of tea as he finished another scroll and began reading one about psychology

"ah but life is something that is confusing even to budda. life is fun when your confused. administration.....risheam..."

"Well you can be confused and have all the fun you like, i'll stick with knowing what is going on and messing with others sense of reality." he said as he picked up scroll about the pressure point of the human body

ki wrote something on the back of the paper. and laughed. "ah, so thats what the old coot was meaning..." then he turned back to kisho. " but isnt that making other people confused?

"Some times, but most of the time it will cause some sort of mental breakdown. Anything from paranoia, depression, converting religions, and i even convinced one man to sell all of his worldly possessions, give me all of his money, and join a monastery. Last time i heard i think he had taken a vow of silence, and the funny thing is, i still get thank you letters from him every now and then" he picked up a scroll about reading an opponents movements

ki smiled to himself. " whats his name?"

"I believe it was something along the lines of Weiss, nice guy too." he finished off the tea, looked at the pile of scrolls he had left to read and said "Well, i've finished about 40 scrolls, the sun has completely set, and i'm out of tea, if you want me to keep going, mind getting me some tea with ginseng?"

ki laughed. "now is the time to wind down. sleep under that tree and ill tell you what were going to do." there was a willow tree with a rock held in midair by a peice of rope. "you ll be holding the rope."

"I'm gonna sleep standing up, or am i gonna hold onto the rope and sit on the rock? Or am I completely off and it is some other thing entirely?" he walked over to the tree and grabbed the rope

"your going to be sitting under the rock while holding the rope. if you let go it will hit you unless you harness your instincts and dodge it. and every once in a while ill cut the rope and it will fall. same thing. and every time they drop we will have to put a bigger rock on.

"so if the rock falls or if i let go of the rope i'm gonna get hit, and every time you cut the rope your going to put a bigger rock on, no problem." he sat under the rock and held the rope. He locked his elbows and tightened the muscles in his hands
