Searching for the future (open)

Metal spires rose all around as a figure moved, quickly but rather cautiously through the village. His dark hair flailed freely without the restraint of a headband or the kage hat that the ninja despised so much. Traversing the lower districts of the mangled towered city proved to be anything but easy, the walks way where thin and barren and the few people who where present shot angry looks in the kages direction. Surprisingly the isolated city had not become a war ground, and were rather oblivious to the ninja identity, it was simply because he was a ninja.

The ninja’s golden eye’s were deep in thought, as they had been since he slipped out of the meeting, the day earlier. How Pharos would have loved to chase down the Hokage and put an end to the war, but more important things were present at the moment. Though he had ended up at the rain village by a whim, when a sudden realization of the disadvantage his village held, even with the aid of the Kazekage. Legends and rumors spoke of those who had gained insane power, that now inhabited the run down industrial village.

Pharos, body slowed as he conitued on through the narrow allies, as he was rather confused as where to look. Even worse was the fact that the kage, was not sure exactly what he was digging for in the barren streets. His masked off his mouth, showing a sign of peace and his golden eye’s surveying the kage pressed on.

Revy walked along a path in the rain country, wearing her hood up, hiding her eyes. Her long hair was hidden behind her hood, going straight down behind the back of the overcoat she wore, that extended down to her heels, except her uneven bangs that hung down, and two long strands of hair that extended down, and out from the sides of her hood, over her shoulders, and extended down to the top of her knees. Her large yellow, slightly transparent blade was crossed on her back, but it was as if nothing was holding it there. The blade was around 10ft long, and 2 ft wide, with a black, devilish guard, and handle.

The rain pour down hard, and seemed to move with her as she walked, not hitting certain areas until she reached that area. Revy continued walking for a bit before stopping at a large rock, and sitting upon it, after stabbing her sword into the ground next to it. The rain was heavy, and thick, along with the fog in the area that made it hard to see long distances.

A women crossed through the village, here feature distinct, yet hard to grasp. The spilt second decision of whether to attack, or to treat with caution was difficult for the dark haired man as he stood and watched the figure moved towards him in quick fluid strides. Golden eye’s perceived a strange yet unheard of phenomenon, the rain around him had faded, leaving all but a dark gloomy sky over head, only one section remained in an onslaught of whether, that being the girls’ path of movement.

Brief steps, backwards occurred as a gloved hand reach towards, Pharos’s waist. In a flash, a silvery object, was within the Kage’s grasp, though it was not moving, no threat came from it. Regaining his composure, something that he barley ever lost, Pharos, pivoted upon his right foot forward. His golden eye’s met the new comers, his dark hair swayed with the wind, as his head ban was currently at the depths of a murky swamp. In rare act of respect, the stone ninja pulled down his lower mouth mask, revealing his smooth features and of course his mouth, finally the man began to spoke in a cool calm tone yet confrontational tone. “The wind of war directs us in different paths, perhaps ours will collide.” A cryptic statement at best., though if the women’s air was a sign, she would understand and react accordingly.

Revy quickly turned her head to the side, seeing a man with a hat similar to that of a Kages. She heard the voice of the man, and began reaching her hand slowly to the handle of her large blade, which was in the ground next to her. With a second to spare, she quickly grabbed the blade and walked closer at a fast pace, with the sword in her hand pointing forward, and slightly down. After she had gotten closer, she noticed the color, and symbol of his hat. Brown, being that he is the Tsuchikage.

Revy immediately sprung into action, thinking he was here to kill her, for what she had done in the past. Killing the former Tsuchikage, and destroying the stone village under a massive tidal wave. Revy disappeared out of sight, as the rain came to an immediate stop. She then appeared to the side of the kage swinging her sword down at him with incredible speed, and accuracy, and enough power to fracture the ground under the swing.

ki was taking a quiet stroll through the rain village. wearing an orange robe and a pale raincoat. his shoulder carrying all of his worldly objectes that he valued and a bone-white staff in his left hand. his right hand hovering over his bag, just in case someone needed help, someone wanted something or some people found out who and what he was.
after the revealment of ki's race, they have been hunting them down considerably. though only the ones that were hunting them were found. and the ones that were killed were just a couple a year. still, that was staggering due to how little deaths occured in his clan.
soon he found a bench and sat down. the weak sun was about to go down and the streets were cleared out. the shops closing early along with paperboys. the houses glowings with their humble souls of fire.

Movements so quick, so many. As the attack as thrown, Pharos reacted following her last movements of grasping a sword before she faded into the wind, out of plain reflux, the tsuchikage was up in the air. In the arc of the dark haired man’s jump the kunai went flashing down prepared ot parry suck a blow, thinking it was an everyday ninja, oh how he would rue suck a mistake in the minutes to come.


The silver weapon, met the force of the blade and for a brief second help it in a full parry, but what happen next can only be described by….”Snap!” The end of the kunai, bent forward and eventually went flying under Pharos as the blades pressure met it, not only did the powerful steel meet the force, but also did Pharos body. Though untouched by the blade, the wind produced by it forced him to be fully pushed back through the air, and partially into a higher district. The dark hair man then landed and collided, with a large figure perched above, the only emotion that could be seen in Pharos’s face was that of bewilderment, as he attempted to remove himself for the man’s body. His golden eye’s stayed locked as he waited for the women to attack once again.

ki looked with a bit supprise as he saw the small brawl in the streets. ki quickly appeard between the man and revy. his hand deep in his bag. his staff about 8 feet tall and him 5 inches taller. " how is the staff i made you, revy-chan? is it apeasable?" ki grinned. the corners of his mouth almost reaching his eyes.
the rain peterd slowly down as the sun sank as low as the uneven pavement. he looked between the man on the ground and revy whom he knew for decades. " i hope you arn't planning to continue this in a pedestrian area. my hometown has had enough damage without you making anymore...fatalities." kis squinted eyes gleamed from between his eyelids. his waist-length hair was soaked from the water.

After the Kunai met the force of her blade, and then shot back the other way, she saw a man she had known for a long time in the background. A man that she had made a promise to, after a great battle. Revy finished the swing with her sword, smashing through the ground, and sending a small trail of cracked grown forward. Revy lowered her sword, letting the tip rest on the ground in front of her, still in her hand. From her movement, her hood fell back a bit, revealing a eye patch that was large, covering her right eye. The eye patch was simply white bandages, wrapped around her forehead, and covering only one of her eyes. As if she was wounded.

Revy paused for a moment and looked at the two, then looking at the Kage again and stepping back a bit, thinking he was going to attack, and gain revenge over the death of a Tsuchikage.

One way or another, things had become bad for the Kage, as he defended himself from the sunned attack, and was now face to face, with what one might call a giant. Putting one hand forward, the brown haired man sprang up into the air, and as he moved his golden eye’s made contact with those of the other man. Landing softly, Pharos began to appraise the man who was clearly bigger then him, meaning more physical prowess, and he was at the advantage as it seemed to the place he called home. Only one Choice made sense to Pharos, as he stepped forward.

Stepping forward, the kage’s golden gaze was cool and controlled, watching the movements of those around him. A quick stop was made in front of the huge man that stood between him and his attacker, his gaze did not waver as he spoke, Pharos was set on a goal. “Of course as you wish.” Full confidence was in his voice as he spoke, it almost seemed like madness, but compliance was in order. Dark brown hair fell over his face in a less than neat fashion as Pharos reached for his Kunai, holder on his waist, after a few seconds of maneuvering, the leather satchel dropped to the ground, with the clank of metal. Continuing to walk forward the stone ninja, removed his purple sweatshirt he had been wearing and with excellent precision, he tossed it towards the large man’s face,. With all dangerous items out of the way, the following events could at least be contained. “So are you ready to talk now?” Pharos said coldly as he looked towards the smaller women, his fists were held up and ready to help in a dodge or counter. From this scene it was rather obvious that the tall man with a slight build was not one to back down.

ki smiled and drew to a ridiculous girly pitch as if spoken by a 5 year old girl. " excellent, i hope you two have a wonderful brawl. you too revy, remove your weapons." ki had caught the sweat shirt and folded it neatly, setting it on a treebranch nearby, laying the scatchel over the sweatshirt so it wouldnt blow away. ki then sat down and made a fire underneath one of the trees, watching. "lets set some rules, no hitting in rude areas, no jutsus and no weapons. nice, hm?" ki started to make tea and watched to see if they would comply. he didn't want his home, nor forestry to be destroyed. other than that he didn't really care if they lived or died other than the fact that he would have to act sad.

Revy refrained from her battle stance, and lowered her sword slightly, and looked over at Ki. She shiefed her sword on her back, and walked to him, and sat down by the fire with him. She crossed her arms, and sat there for a moment, before realizing that she forgot to put her hood back up, to hide the bandaging. Revy quickly put her hood up, shading her eyes again. Out of the one visible eye, that was partially shaded, she looked over towards the Tsuchikage, seeing if he would continue a attack, or sit with them and talk.

The large man, demonic in appearance seemed to have an interesting aura that pulled all into it’s unwavering gravitational force. Said aura was not one of vicious man but of a peaceful, a prophet if you will. The fire filled the empty village as night slowly began to clutch it, the darkness came and the comfort of the fire called out every moment a little bit more. Sparks illuminated a white flash of moment that ducked in the comfort of the fire, as perceived by ever watching golden eyes. Perhaps life always had it’s interesting twists, one for better and ones for worse.

As if she had entered the kage’s head, the young female dropped to the ground beside the fire, her weapon no longer in sight, peace radiating more and more with every meager passing second. Throwing a small bit of caution the already unarmed man dropped his body to the ground,; brown hair fell down with the body and without a head band to restrain it cover Pharo’s face with a soft sensation. It was rarely ever that Pharos was this venerable, his mouth was not covered by it’s mask, his purple sweat shirt hung away from him, weapons joined the clothing in absence. No matter the empety feeling the Talis did not allow his golden gaze to waver away from the girl, who now he had a better chance to get an image of; her face had retracted back into the shadows of her looming hood, but looking more closely her figure she appeared to be close to Pharos in age, if not younger.

The silence lasted for a few minutes before the kage held his head up high and broke it into shattered glass. “I’ve come to speak to some of the recent visitors of this village,.” Oh how at this moment he wished he had some form of defense as he knew not what the others would do in reaction to his words, but alas he did not, only words would fight for him now. “To inform them of the threats of the world and perhaps unite them in an attempt to bring peace.” Carefully chosen words they were and the fire seemed to capture them even more.

ki took a kettle from his pack and set it over the fire, letting it boil as he talked. a waft of cinimon apple and cranberry tea. the tettle was blackend and old, it had seen many years of tea, talks and also lonely nights. " Peace?" ki looked at the logs, engulfed by fire and light. though also trapped in fire and light. " fire is good. it gives warmth, safety, and well-being...but if there is too much fire, you can be frightend, cofused, blinded, and can destroy you and everything else. just as peace. there are several ways to find and make peace. how are you going to make 'peace"?" ki looked up from the fire. his smile gone and his 160 years looked plain on his face. his eyes were dark and his large form threw shadows of things yet to come.
" if i join this peace, it will affect my family, my little girl reiki, my good brother kamoku and all of my student. former and ones i have now." ki retracted his black claws, blood was still crusted on them and the blood was not yet black from age. he checked the tea by tapping on the side of the earthen ware and i chipped slightly. he pulled his claws back into his finger; lost in the folds of his robes again.

Revy glared at both of the men only. Her head was tilted down slightly, and her eye was fixed, up looking at the both of them. Her other eye was still covered in the white bandaging, that had circled her forehead, and only one eye, and circled around the back of her head, under her hair. Revy remained silent, waiting for when she would need to speak. Peace wasn't really her topic, because she has started a lot of trouble, and has killed many people in the past. Revy was starting to get cold, even sitting near the fire. The rain she had traveled with held just the right temperature to keep her warm, in even the hottest of weathers, though it did not do so good against the cold.

Pharos gave Ki a cold yet reassuring stare as he began to speak of what and how, creating a new found peace would effect him. A chill ran down the kage’s spine, what exactly was the giant thinking, it would be easy? Of course not. If the goal could have been achieved so easily, Pharos would not had been sitting before the two. Relaxing the man shifted his wait to his left side, allowing his brown hair to once again fall down upon his gazing golden eyes, that were in fact arranging words.

“Before, peace must come the struggle, the strife.” The kage’s glare was golden and hard as it directed it’s way towards to the willow clan member, the words were of the truth every person had to push past hardships to attain self peace, and now it was time for the next generation to ninjas to see this. “I to, have those I risk in my plea for peace, a whole village. “ Words of stone, were strong and hopefully would reach Ki’s mind and help the young silent female to warm up, and speak.

ki pulled out a few bags that smelled bloody and fresh from bones. he then pulled off a few dead tree limbs and situated next to the tea prop. he pulled the whistling tea kettle from the fire and withdrew 3 cups; he poured the brew into the cups and passed them out.
ki opened the bags and layed slabs of meat accross the fire prop and tied the ends to gether to make it stick. he sprinkled spices over it in which he had pulled from his pack too. during all of this time he had not talked and his face remained blank. after a while as the small camp filled with the smell of food, he pulled out a cup of sugar with a spoon in case anyone wanted some. he then stared back at the Tsukage and laughed. " I know there will be a struggle, i still dont know how it will affect me and my family. my family remains the same whether there is a war or not. How will you convince people to choose your way to peace? Blackmail? War? Torture? i have seen many wars that wanted peace. for all of the nations to come together. How can we be different and to follow our own goals, if we have no ressistance to make us prosper? how will you make peace? If you force people to make peace then they will react with the oposite, if you force war onto them and try to make them bow to you, then they will lock their legs and grit their teeth." ki turned the meat and smiled quietly. " it is the same thing when people see something that they dont feel comfortable with." ki retracted his claws a few inches to poke one of the peices of meat to see if they were good. " the first time i went to the leaf, they tried to imprison me. which was quite fun." ki grinned, his needled teeth gleaming in the firelight.

As Revy sat near the fire, with the smell of food filling the air, her stomach began to growl a little. Revy remained quiet, looking up at both of them with her left eye, and with her head tilted down a little. She had no place to talk in this matter, as she is just a simple Jounin, from a village that remains Neutral in the war. She watched as Ki cooked the meat, and poked at it with his claws. Watching it sizzle, only made her even hungrier. As the aroma filled the air, and the fire got hotter, Revy lowered her hood behind her, letting her long white hair fall back, and unshading her eyes, which also made her bandaging on her right eye more noticeable.
