Maneki waited for reiki to show up.He placed explosive tag around the area well he waited.When he was done he stood still and drew his sword.

reiki listend carefully as she always did. her blind eyes blinked as wind hit her eyes. ( if you're going to fight me, make your posts longer so it wont be boring.)) she kept her hands out, balancing a bit by her ears. turning her head side to side minisculy so she can walk.
she sniffed the air and smelled a human. though she couldnt find out what rank. the resedue would usually stick on a ninja after its high ranked missions. either this was a pamperd jounin that hadnt seen battle since he was 5 or a very skilled gennin. reiki smiled as she heard the drawing of a sword a while off. she stood near a tree, just outside the clearing. unable to give way her urge to attack him in the clearing. her clan anbu days made sure to keep that in check.
" i hope you don't plan on fighting in the clear like a stupid samurai." she called out. her eyes looking here and there, not seeing anything yet not ignorant to anything either.

Maneki replied to reiki "i do plan on fighting you with my sword but you shouldn't underestimate a swordsmen."Maneki quickly charged at reiki and a bug flied down his throat as he charged.Maneki then stopped he decided to fight more strategically he then said l"ets see how the fight goes"Maneki then preformed the hidden mist jutsu causing a mist to cover the whole area making nothing visible.Maneki then began to breath quietly and waited for reiki to attack.

reiki made several clones, about 12 reikis surrounded the samurai (your new nickname) and made a few handseals together. they all took the same water from the air to use the jutsu and then combined it to create the dragon. 3 other reikis jumped to the trees, making reiki's senses complete. they all said the same thing together. " if you want mist jutsus, we'll give you Mist jutsus."

Effect: After a series of handsigns, they user makes a dragon made of water. It is very tall and strikes out of its own will.

Maneki saw up i the sky through the mist a water dragon coming at him.He decided to stop it and get away he would blow up 11 0f the 12 explosive tags he placed around the area.When the first one blew it destroyed the water dragon and sent maneki flying into a nearby stream.Then as he ws their the other explosive tags went off.

(( when tags are sent in a chain like that, it is only reacted by a body with chakra and cannot be activated manually. thats how they are usually set up and since you didnt post a jutsu that said it was activaed manually i will have to assume its an auto. which leads to the fact that since you ran into the clearing that had those on you were blown up before you saw my dragon. and since i already posted and proved that the dragon went torwards you. its a bit of overkill.))
