Revy's challenge, (Revy, Takeo, Genkou, orpgdm)

The world was still, peace was flooding the small wood land, only the noise of the moving wind could be heard, rhythmically in the scene of pure serenity. Among the nature lied, a clear blue pool of crystalline water surround by a grove of small saplings that eagerly budded towards the sky. Few clouds littered the sun light, peace was unwavering. In an unrecognized feat, a young man had mange to slip into the young piece of nature without, disrupting the peace, no animals reacted as he laid his head back, allow his blonde hair to fall away to the grass watching the clear sky. Days like these were so few for the man, why not enjoy them when they exist? Perhaps the past, had left him over appreciative of simplicities of the world, but it mattered no to the young man as long as he could revel in the nature around him.

Peace how fleeting, as it proved to be as after a second of pure bliss, the ninja awoke ot the real world, an incoming field of chakra, coming from all angles by the feel of it. Reacting out of habit, the boy reflexively jumped up from what could be called a careless stance, or as most would say, a nap. His body quickly found a good, defensive stance, his left leg placed in front of his dominantly right one, creating an easy back door. Crystal blue eye’s became alert searching the area for all movement, blond hair had fallen down cover the back of his head; saving his face, being protected by a set of goggles, replacing the normally average head band. The young cloud ninja, Takeo steady his breathing preparing for a strike, his right hand slipped down returning with a shiny weapon, prepared for an all out brawl.

By now, according to the young man’s calculating mind, the being would soon be with in the ninja’s s view, allowing him to have the upper hand if it should come to self defense. A wind stirred the area, causing the sunlit water behind Takeo to ripple, the warrior had to fight him self not jump; it seemed to just be an unlucky day, growing worse with impatience for the appearance of the mysterious figure.

The sun glittered on the clear blue crystilline water and as animals quietly sipped the fresh cold water. Instantly, next to Takeo, stood his battle assistant and friend, Genkou. Genkou stood peacefully next to Takeo, arms folded across his chest, as the light windy breeze flowed through his clothes and hair. "Sorry you had to wait Takeo, it has been long since I have seen such a beautiful field, so I had to take my time." Genkou said softly, not disturbing the animals that were about. He knew that a deadly battle was soon to begin when their opponent arrives. Takeo chose Genkou for a very stragetic purpose......to be his self defense. Genkou knew that he can't let his friend down, this battle would most likely require strategy and teamwork. They stood peacefully and alert, side by side, waiting to fight their most deadly opponent......Revy Izumi.

As peace was flowing through the lands, and the animals were enjoying the quiet, light breeze in the wind, it all came to a sudden stop, with a dead drop in wind, and the animals fleeing. The sky began turning dark, and the air thickened, as anyone who would be in the area at this time, will witness something that only 1 has ever returned from alive. As the sky's darkened, it also filled with dark clouds, and before one could realize what was going on, rain began pouring down, at a heavy, and thick rate. From the distance, two Kunai were launched with great accuracy, and speed, that each had a explosive tag hanging on the back. They zipped through the rain, leaving no time for the rain to damage the tag in any way, and they landed right by the feet of the two young Chuunin, side by side. The instant they got stuck in the ground, they would explode.

Description: Simply put, this jutsu makes it rain. The rain is normal and not increased in any way. Thus, it costs an unnoticeable portion of chakra. Rains for thirty Posts.

Peace faded away from the land, as one of the chakra sources flooded into the area, the entrance of the figure did not break the young ninja’s concentration as it had finally cemented it’s self. A state of inner peace was achieved, the man’s mind watched the scene taking in all of the slightest changes through eye’s of crystal blue, Caught in the trace like state, Takeo simply nodded to his companions statement, allowing his blond hair to fall back behind his head in response. The blue sky was rapidly losing it’s color, casting a shadow upon the world, quicker than most winds can move storms upon the land, something was approaching, a fearsome wind, one might say.

Not allowing a surprise attack, Takeo using the back hole he had created with his defensive stance quickly acrobatically jump towards the saplings, distancing himself from the other chuunin who had shown himself to be rather calm, perhaps overly calm, for such a time as this. Rain began to poor down on the small innocent field as Takeo attempted to get a clean, foot but alas the rain had created a mud pit, being trap was the worst thing possible, and could not happen. As these difficult thoughts ran through the young chuunin’s head, an explosion occurred where he had been previously stand, hopefully the other ninja had been able to move fast enough.

Attempting to regain the lost footing, Takeo ran a string of signs through out his hands and in a turn his cheeks began to swell as a fluid made it’s way up from his lower bodily area. The fluid it’s self, came out covering the field, it was a murky blue liquid that would immobilize those trapped in it. Simple chakra control allowed one to stand upon it without hindrance, as Takeo had planned, though his enemies could imitate him, he now had a firm footing. Standing upon the crystalline surface, the chunnin unleashed to kunai towards, the area the attack had come from. The battle had finally begun, and stakes were high for all those around.

Out of boredom, Genkou decided to view the animals while they waited for their enemy to make an appearance. He saw a small herd of deer feeding on the green grass that covered the open field and squirrels scouted the trees looking for nuts. A small swarm of birds began to fill the clear open blue sky, singing and chirping, filling the quiet air with cheerful sounds. Suddenly, some of the deer lifted up their heads, as if they sensed some kind of interference. Then, out of nowhere, a few rain clouds sprang up. The animals took it as a warning sign and fled for shelter. ”I better find shelter so my sand won’t get wet.” Genkou immediately jumped off the tree branch and hid himself in the small cave that stood hidden near a group of trees.

As he was about to walk inside, he heard a large explosion near the branch that he and Takeo were standing on. ”Good thing we both got off that branch in time.” He stood alert in the small cave, scouting the trees for Takeo. He then spotted Takeo a few yards away, who had squirted blue liquid on the field and thrown kunai towards the place where the tag explosives had been thrown. To trick their opponent from knowing that he was hiding in the cave, so he created a earth clone(solid and looks like a shadow clone). He told the clone to stand near Takeo and try to act like him as much as possible. The earth clone nodded, took out its umbrella, and ran off towards Takeo. When the clone arrived next to Takeo, he whispered, ”I’m just an earth clone, the real Genkou is in the cave, he has a plan.”

Revy, who was actually behind a tree at the moment, watched as one of the Chuunin entered a cave, then cave slightly in the distance, as Revy peaks out, a kunai quickly sipped past her, slightly cutting an area next to her eye, though it was a very small cut. She quickly put her head back and grinned a little. Well..one seems pretty good, but the other..........not even blinding me for a moment as he decided to run into a cave?..bad move.. She said to herself in her head. As Revy moved her foot back a little, she watched as a weird blue substance quickly flew around the corners of the tree, and nearly hit her, though it began surrounding her. Revy quickly jumped up, and landed in a branch of the tree, and looked back at the Chuunin, who was standing on the liquid, unaffected by it. Noticing she left herself wide open, she quickly held her hand out to the side, and a black blade, that looked similar to a dragons wing appeared in her hand. A black vine like material wrapped around her arm, and stopped, at 2 sections of her back, one on each side. two black wings quickly sprouted from her back, and she hoped off the branch, taking flight in the air. While in the air, Revy did a few hand seals, and the ground below began spinning around, sucking everything towards the center, including the mess that the Chuunin made of the ground. Knowing the other chuunin was still up to something, she payed very well attention to what was around her.

Description: This jutsu causes the ground and everything on and around it to be sucked in towards the middle of a large pit, much like the method an antlion uses to catch prey. Upon being dragged to the center, the victim will then be sucked underground. There the victim, depending on how deep the user make them sink, will be trapped and/or suffocated. The range of the pit is determined by how much chakra is put into the jutsu

Earthly of being, had been the clone who addressed Takeo of his masters will. A plan seemed interested but rather meaningless in the thick rain that continually left a murky view on the events to come. Speak of plan was echoed through the clones voice, only seconds before the young chunnin’s actions, leaving a large pound of crystalline blue, and another, supposed ally within a cave, cowering for the inevitable. If the poor child was afraid of little rain, how would he be able to fight the strange women, who her self seemed to act as an embodiment of the rain? The plan had remained unknown and the blond chuunin had little intention of taking a death run in the cave.

Surveying the area, crystal eyes caught sight of their enemy drawing a weapon into the midst of battle. The blade interested Takeo, dearly as they allowed the women to take flight through transformation; a talented smith had left a mark. The young weapon smith’s fascination over the finely built weapon was shattered as the liquid beneath his feet began to leak away into the enemy’s traps. Without a second’s hesitation, the chakra supporting Takeo dissipated with a flick of his hand, dropping the orange tinted goggles on to the boy as he fell down into the murky depth of the ooze. The slime tugged at his immobile body as it was drained into the earth, but the body it’s self stayed upon the ground covered in a teal liquid as the smile was designed to immobilize but not move the target. Takeo, blond hair coated with remnants reestablished the area; the women remained in the air, Genkou in his cave, though interestingly the pit had quickly been filled by the down poor of rain creating a second pond in the battle field.

With the changing environment, Takeo decided upon the strategy to meet his enemy head on, the boy began his head long dash towards the nearest sapling. Upon reaching the young plant, he allowed chakra to follow through his feet, thus in turn aiding him in the climb to the sky. Once the plant’s reachs had been surpassed the chuunin, propelled himself into the air, his blonde hair flowing in the wind, while being beaten on by the down pour.

Flying through the air, the ninja prepared a quick chain of hand signs as he finally for the first time and hopefully the last time he say his enemy face to face; the encounter ended as a heated ball of fire was expelled a few inches away from the jounin. The chance’s of it dissipating before it hit her was low, but whether the primary attack hit or not, was uncertain as a thick sheet of steam had been created thanks to the rain. Using the makeshift smoke screen, Takeo once again created a set of hand signs, while his body began to fall towards the ground, awaiting it’s fate. Beside the chuunin materialized two clones made of the water that surrounded him; each grasping a kunai in both hands, they sprang forward using Takeo as a push off, coming at the jounin from both side, attack, close behind also came two whizzing kunai from the master mind. Falling, Takeo focused some of his chakra once again to his feet, allowing him to land softly upon the newly formed lake, and gaze up above at his handy work.

After obeying his master’s orders, he turned around to look at the cave just in case the real Genkou were to give him a signal. Immediately, Revy appeared out of hiding, took out a black looking object, and began to take off into the air. ”She can fly?!” The clone thought as he began to walk on the blue liquid by sending chakra to his feet. The clone then jumped onto a tree branch close by and held his hands close together as if he was about to perform a jutsu, trying to trick their opponent.

Genkou stood silently in the cave, watching the battle from a safe distance. ”I can’t just let Takeo fight that woman alone. Even though I can’t use any sand jutsu or walk out in the rain, I’ll have to find a way to fight her from here. Though if I were to use Shukaku’s chakra, I’ll have access to his wind element. Since wind element is long range, but….” Genkou thought quietly. ”Wait. I can always use one of those earth jutsu that involves mud. Since its raining, I’ll be able to preserve more of my chakra since there is already mud available. ”Hmmmm….” He looks up into the rainy sky as he saw their enemy take off into the air. ”Dang. She can fly too?! Maybe I’ll wait on the earth jutsu.…atleast for now. I guess I will have to use weapons instead…until the rain slows down that is.” Due to the heavy rain, Genkou knew that using kunai or shuriken wouldn’t be a good choice. So he takes out a small scroll and summons a small pouch. Genkou then takes out twenty water needles and throws them at Revy. Because the needles are lightweight and so thin that they are nearly invisible, there would be a very low chance that Revy will be able to dodge them.
