Maikeru Riengoddo's self training.

Maikeru walked into the training area. After a sigh (this was going to be a long day) the put his pack down on the ground and pulled a kunai from his belt pouch. He faced a tree.

"Okay, 10 meters by lunch!"

Maikeru then ran up the tree as far as he could, then marked it with the kunai. It was about 8m 85 cm. Again he ran up, this time making 8m 90 cm.8m 95cm. 8m 96cm. 9m. 9.05m. 9.10m. 9.15m. 9.20m. He continued this way for a long while, until he found himself stuck at 9.65m and only an hour before lunch. He was running low on chakra. After a deep breath, He ran as fast as he could up the tree, reaching 9.95m. With only 5cm off, he decided he was close enough. He sat down on the edge of the lake and ate his lunch.

After he finished his lunch, Maikeru walked over to the lake and put both hands in, using his water fist jutsu. He then walked over to the trio of logs that were worn down from much use.

"500 hits before the hour is up!" self motivation of this type gave him a goal, and therefore a purpose.

1,2,3,4,5,6,7... each hit to a different log then the last... 15,16,17,18,19,20,21... each hit hurting a little more, doing a little more damage... 61,62,63,64,65,66, his hands have started to sting, 88,89,90,91,92,93,94, the water around his hands is starting to have a red tint, 115,116,117,118,119,120,121,122,123, aching and bleeding... pain... 220,221,222,223,224,225, his vision has started to blur, his mind starting to fog, 365,366,367,368,369... it was about here he lost count and just started hitting the logs furiously, twice as fast as before. When the hour was up, both Maikeru's hand, as well as the three trunks, looked worse for the wear. After 30 mins resting, he walked on to the lake. He gave a deep sigh, then started practicing his jutsu. Water clone, water rush, water explosion, water clone again, water fist... on and on till he had no chakra left. The sun was hanging low in the sky and he decided that he had better go home and finish the next day....
