Moving to Kirigakure (chuunin rank escort or higher needed)

Maikeru was done. Although his time in Konohagakure had been fun, there wasnt enough water ninja there. He had no uncertainty that his water jutsus could better be trained in a town that has more water ninjas than Konoha. Its not that he didnt enjoy konoha, and it was close to his home village of Mira, it simply that he wished to be a little better than he thought konoha could offer him.

He went up to the Hokage's office and knocked on the door. After being told to enter, He asked the Hokage if he could transfer to the Mist village and become a mist ninja. The Hokage looked sad, as if he was loosing a promising ninja, but he said that he would ask the Mizukage what she thought. Maikeru took that as an assent, for now, and asked when he could expect an answer. The Hokage said soon, although it would take a while.

In the few days Maikeru had to wait, he started packing things up in an organized fashion, getting his stuff ready to move. Due to his life as a ninja, he didnt have very much stuff, only a few spare sets of clothes, a spare belt, his sword, his falcon's cage, and the scroll he had written down all his jutsu on. Afterwards he went to the Konoha reality office and put his house under "Possibly sell soon" and went to go see if the answer from the Mizukage had came in.

The Hokage again gave him that look of disappointment, but said that the mizukage is fine with another village ninja, and that Maikeru was free to move, as long as he switched alliance from the Leaf to the Mist. Maikeru agreed (although he felt as he left, the Hokage gave him a dirty look for it) and headed off to the village gate to wait for his escort, which the Hokage said he would send once he had someone. Along the way, he stopped again by the realty department to tell the realtor that his house should be put on the market. He also stopped by a post office to send a letter to Hitogoroshi of the mist, telling him he was on his way.

Finally he got to the gate. Due to the long journey he was about to undergo, his dress was slightly different. Although he had the same black loose clothing, he now had a glove on both hands, and his belt and sword were strapped to his backpack instead of around his waist. The Cage had also been tied to the top, and Streak had been told that he would be moving in an easternly direction and let go to hunt. Maikeru then set down his pack, leaned against the village gate, and waited for his escort.

(off topic: i really do have permission from both the Hokage (lord vizer) and the Mizukage (Naizu Nimakee) to travel, but i still need a chuunin rank or higher escort. PM me if you wish to be that escort, or tell me in the cb. Make sure you ask vizer though.)

swift was already waiting by the gate. she had been waiting for quite some time now. i knew i should have taken my time in getting here. she thought. the sun was already pretty high in the sky. and the heat was getting to be to much for her. her black cloths didn't help much. she wore a black tee shirt with her bow and boomerang tide to her back with a small strip of cloth. she walked up to to the genin who was leaning agaist the get.
"are you maikeru. she ask politely."

Maikeru was startled, he hadn't noticed her.

"Yes, I'm Maikeru, are you my escort?"

The ninja nodded yes.

"Excellent!" Maikeru grabbed his stuff and slung it over his back. He reached into one of the pouches of his pack and pulled out his headband and used it to tie up his hair, which had grown kind of long in the recent months. He looked over to the Girl and nodded slightly. Both of them started walking on the road to the Port town. Just a few days on land and a day or two on the sea, and Maikeru was in the Mist. He could hardly wait.

"great lets get moving". swift said she turned her back to the ninja and started walking out of the gate. she walked not waiting for
maikeru to catch up. she hadn't really care to do this but she was bored and needed money. i just hope this goes fast she thought.

Maikeru increased speed to keep up with Swift (ironic huh). As the day turned to night they stopped at a town, renting a room in a cheap hotel. The next day they started again, and the day was pretty much un-eventful. Maikeru calculated that they would make it to the port town by sundown. A few hours away, Streak came back, and after feeding him, Maikeru let him go off again, telling him to meet them in the morning. As the sun dipped below the horizon, they made it to the port, and Maikeru went to go to the docks to reserve two spots on the next ship to Kiri, after giving Swift some money for a room or two at the local hotel...

So far the jouney had been relative uneventful. There had been no bandits or evil bounty hunters or assassin. Just hawk. It had look quite appetizing but it seem it was maikeru’s pet. She had never understood why humans bonded with animals. She had learned that you shouldn’t depend on any ones senses but your own. They had reached the port. Hmm now the journy across the sea begins. she thought. She took the money and went to the hotel and got her and maikeru a separate room. I wonder how his pet will make it across the sea. She thought. But she Was distracted by a show case of cigarettes. She used her own small store of cash to purches some and went up to her room.

After Maiku had made preparations for the trip by sea, he went to the hotel and checked into the room Swift had reserved for him. It was a pretty uneventful night, although Streak did come back and tap on the window to Maiku's room, but a few minutes later he was in his cage sleeping. The next morning Maiku met Swift at the docks, and they got on the boat, Streak still in his cage. It seemed the trip would only take a day if the currents stayed the way they were long enough, and only half a day longer if they didnt. They found their cabins on the boat and both put their things there before coming back on deck. Maiku had a ball using the sea water to use his water jutsus with, and was feeling a little reluctant to go to bed that evening. Streak was staying in his cage except for the few times Maiku let him out to get excersise, prefering Maiku's dried jerky to anything he could catch out here, and when Maiku turned in for the night, he was sound asleep, and by the Snoring coming from the next room, either another person traveling to Kiri was asleep, or Swift was as well. If everything went as planned, they would be there by late morning...

Satsu was hunting down the chuunin, and gennin for a good while now his hunt was started late but he began to pick up the pace jumping tree to tree. Satsu needed to hurry, and find the two shinobi before they could reach the mist village. Satsu looked up to see the giant wingspan from his feathered companion Harpy. Thats when he heard a loud screach from the Harpy eagle. Satsu knew that screach meant that the bird had found something. Satsu stopped on a stiff branch as he channeled in to his birds eye's view. Satsu began to see through the large eyes notcing a village not to far away from the both of them. Satsu regained his normal sight and quickly began to jump from tree to tree. His medium sized back pack was tigghtly holding on to the middle of his back. He finnally reached the village, he saw the morning dew cast over the rooftops and the peacful villagers below. Satsu jumped from the tree tops asking people for an Inn or a hotel that the ninja's could have been resting at. Nobody answered him at first, when all of a sudden he heard the screeches from his bird. Satsu quickly channeled in to Harpy's eyes as his bird was on a simple rooftop, first Satsu question what was going on when all of a sudden the bird cocked it's head towards the sign resting on top of the roof. The sign had a picture of a bed, symoblizing an Inn. Satsu jumped to the rooftops and looked for his bird. "Harpy!?" Satsu shouted, as a responding "Kaw" reached Satsu. The noise came from the west of him, satsu began running towards the direction where he heard the call. When he began to continuously jump from roof to roof he began to doubt his directional hearing. When all of a sudden as Satsu approached the edge of the roof top Harpy's large 7 ft wingspan grazed over his forehead. It scared him for just a second but then he looked down to see his bird circleing the Inn he was looking for. Satsu jumped down to the front of the shop looking at the Inn sign. "Great job Harpy" Satsu said as he lifted his arm. Harpy landed on his fore arm, Satsu than reached into his pocket for some meat feeding it to the bird, and lifting his arm to let the large bird fly. "stay close" Satsu said as he walked in the Inn.

The door of the Inn swung open with a gentle breeze touching Satsu's face, and a gentle ring of the door bell reaching his ears hidden beneath his crimson red hair. "can I help you" said the deep voice of the Inn worker. The Inn worker had a name tag; Jayu. Jayu had his hands on the counter. Satsu smirked as he unsheathed his sword and sticking it straight into the overlapped wrist collers of Jayu's sleeve. Satsu with his hand still on the hilt of the sword he began to speak. "Yes, you can help me I'm looking for two males they would've slept here last night. Do you have the sign in cards?" Satsu stated as Jayu looked over to a plywoodbox with cards sticking out. Satsu reached over grabbing the top card, he looked at the name at the top. It read "Maikeru" Satsu faced the cardtowards Jayuu. "This man where is he?" Satsu questioned, the imobilized clerk responded "I have no clue, but I could have sworn he was talking of a boat ride t-to I don't know, please don't kill me." "Don't worry I wont kill you, but please do tell me where the boat dock is that leads to The mist village?" Satsu asked. "Oh just North of here" said Jayu. Satsu smiled and removed the sword from the counter, and resheathed it. He walked over to a laundry basket, "Is this his sheets?" asked Satsu, "Y-yes" Jayu responded as Satsu lifted up the sheet and with quick hands he cut off a piece of the sheet and stuffed it in his pocket. With the same speed that he cut the sheet he sprinted out side the door.

Satsu ran with haste towards the boat docking, when he finnally found it he knew it was the correct one because on the sign there was the picture of a boat and an arrow pointing towards the mist village sign. "Harpy come" Satsu said as he lifted his arm out. The beast landed and looked into Satsu's eyes, with his other hand he reached into his back pack grasping onto two smaller bags. Satsu put the bags over the bird left, and right wing, the bags fit snug with the zipper in reach of her beak. The bag was over loaded with miniature kunais with explosive tag's. Satsu than reached in his pocket grabbing the piece of the cut off sheet, raising it to the birds nose. The bird took one great inhale through the nose. "You got it?" satsu said. "Go!" satsu yelled as the bird took flight soreing high within the sky. If someone looked up they would not see this bird due to the white underbelly, and the milk white clouds corresponding in tone. The bird finnally left Satsu's gaze.So Satsu channeled into the birds eyes, at first Satsu could see nothing but the bright sun, and white clouds. Satsu finnally saw the boats smoke, the bird sped up finnally flying above the boat. Satsu smiled as the bird reached over with her beak and unzipped the first bag, performing a quick loop the bag dropped out a single kunai with a note attached to it. Hoping they would noticce the note Satsu continued to look through his birds eyes. Satsu awaited for them to get the note as he also waited for another boat to get to the dock.

Swift was bored. The sea was boring the sights were boring all she could do was shoot at fish with her arrows. She had tied a line to the arrows so that she could retrieve them. After catching many fish this got extremely boring. She slept the rest of the day. But then night came. Swift was only able to sleep for eight hours max. she found it impossible to over sleep. she leaned against the side of the ship looking down into the water. she was on the alert suddenly as she heard the sound of something falling. looked up but didn't see any thing. hmm what the heck could that be out here. she thought. then she spotted something. her eyes where trained to pick out small details. she thought she saw thing dropping from the sky but it was quickly enveloped by the smoke.but she didn't see any thing that could have dropped any thing. strange she thought. her eyes never played tricks on her so she wasn't familiar with the concept that they could do such a thing. what she saw she knew she saw. if it was meant as an attack she didn't see how. but if it was indeed an attack then she would have time to get maikeru. " hey maikeru get up" she yelled. and positioned her self so that she was standing on the rail. it would be easy for her to jump off is it was an attack. and if it wasn't she would just look stupid. but oh well. she thought

Maikeru jolted up. His sleep had been rudely interuppted. He was about to go yell at Swift for waking him, but then he heard footsteps too heavy to be swift. He made a few clones and activated his miragan just in case. He heard a loud thump. He sent his clones out to investigate while he hid in the closet. If any of his three clones were destroyed, he would see what they saw. Plus if one was destroyed he could explode the other two to get his chakra into the air. Fighting a water ninja at sea was not the smartest thing to do. He sent his clones out and decided that relying on what the clones saw might not be the best thing, and should see for himself. He opened the door and followed his clones out into the hallway. The wood felt damper than usual, but he payed that no mind. As he walked along the hallway, keeping a somewhat far distance from his clones, he hit the door to the deck. He sent one clone out to investigate, and peered out the door. Swift was standing on a railing, looking at a man dressed in dark clothes. They seemed to be waiting for each other to attack. Maikeru could almost see the man's shadow move, quite a trick in the night, light as the moonlight was. He had his clone yell out "Swift! Watch out for his shadow!" He wasn't concerned if his clone's shadow got caught, but things could be bad for Swift if her shadow got caught. Maikeru sent another clone to talk to the captain. Anchoring the boat will make this fight easier.
