Lexion is a young teenager with steel-gray, neck-length hair with bangs that cover the right side of his face and light blue eyes. Despite being one of the Black Dusk's founding members, Lexion physically appears to be the youngest of the group, and is certainly one of the smallest in stature. He wears a Kusagakure forehead protector on his forhead, which has a slash across it since he no longer has ties with his village. He also wears the organization's distinctive black coat, pants, and boots. For his own reasons, he also wears thin, black gloves to go along with the clothes.

Personality: Lexion has a calm, patient, and emo-like personality, but not always letting what others say affect his beliefs and pride. He prides himself on being a member of the Black Dusk and believes that powerful young ninja, like himself, should always be treated with respect. Unlike the other members, he conducts his tasks in a veil of secrecy, suggesting a darker sort of personality. Lexion apparently also holds a fondness for literature and reading, which is noticed in the weapons he utilizes and the fact he is usually seen reading a book. Lexion to some appears to be emotionally distant and anti-social, but this is not completely true. He has an undying sense of duty to the organization, which is certainly not untrue as he is the most competent of the basement members and goes to almost any length to ensure the success of his missions. At times, he can also be humorous and jest with other members when the moment shows itself. He usually doesn't fight his opponents outright at the start of battle, but uses schemes and illusions to bring them down.

Kekkei Genkai (Unamed): Lexion’s KKG allows him to manipulate his enemy’s genjutsu and turn it against them. For example, if an enemy were to trap Lexion in Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death, Lexion can manipulate the genjutsu and reverse the technique or make a totally different illusion. He is also able to cast illusions with only one hand seal. There is some downfalls, however. Lexion isn't able to reflect genjutsu techniques above A-Rank.

~Special Characteristics~

Speed & Reflexes: Unlike some ninja, Lexion can run twice the speed than a average Jounin. His fast reflexes allow him to dodge attacks at a much quicker pace.

Chakra Control: Lexion has great chakra control, allowing him to perform jutsu or cancel Genjutsu techniques with little chakra drain.

Ninjutsu Mastery: Lexion utilizes the Fuuton and Katon Elements, which he has both mastered. For instance, Fuuton jutsu such as Wind Release: Great Breakthrough, only drains about 3% of his chakra reserves. Since he has been using both elements for quite a while, he is about to perform powerful combos with great ease.

Genjutsu Mastery: Like many other memebers of his clan, Lexion is also an adapt user of Genjutsu. He uses many types of illusions to trick and kill his opponents. He has a mastery over Genjutsu, allowing him cancel out many types of Genjutsu techniques with little difficulty.

Appearance: Lexion uses a book called a Lexicon, the Greek term for a dictionary. It is apparently named Book of Illusions. The pages contain special Ninjutsu and Genjutsu techniques that were native to only his clan. The cover is black with white edges and has a arrowhead-like shape, a fleur de lys pattern sprouting from the tip. Two white lines coming inward from the spine of the book curve slightly at the tips. The spine of the book displays a Roman number two (II), “Book of Illusions”.

Abilities:

Fire Resistant: Unlike normal books, this Lexicon is fire resistant for some unkown reason. If hit by flames, the words in the pages will immediately glow red and a very thin barrier will form around the book. If some of the pages were damaged by the fire before the barrier was put up would suddenly disappear.

Chakra Flow: Lexion has the power to infuse his wind-natured chakra into the Lexicon's arrowhead-like blades through ‘chakra flow’, enabling him to increase the length and density of his blade to strike an enemy from several feet out of the physical blade's range.

Levitate: This Lexicon has the ability to levitate in mid-air when Lexion isn't holding it.

Manipulation: Since the Lexicon is linked to his mind and body , Lexion is able to manipulate the book at will. This allows him to control the Lexicon from a distance and even follow him when it is levitating.

Defense: Due to the Lexicon's large size and steel cover, Lexion can use the book to block weapons(kunai, shuriken, & swords) and some types of jutsu.

History


Childhood Arc- A dark day indeed for the village of Kusagakure, when they finally discovered the mysterious genjutsu-skilled clan rampaged toward Kusagakure. When clan rebelled and attacked Kusagakure, the alarm was sounded as many ninjas ran out, every adult and every student came out to stop the rebellion. After five hours of fighting, they got weak and most of them were greatly wounded, but had managed to kill the last of the clan members. Even though the battle was a success, the clan had cost large casualties in the Kusagakure Shinobi Army, but lucky for them, none of the other villages were informed, so none of them knew that Kusagakure was temporarily weakened. When they checked the clan's HQ to look for anything suspicous, they found a young three-year-old orphan boy hiding in a corner. They took him back to the village put him in the orphanage. A lot of people eventually forgot of the incident, but random citizens however did know what happened, and the news soon spread once again, to more people before the Kusakage issued a decree that it was forbidden to tell Lexion of the 'incident'. The Kusakage managed to contain the information fast enough before it was all leaked out. Of course, Lexion still didn't know anything about this. To gain his village’s reconition, Lexion began to study in ninja arts so he can join the Kusagakure Ninja Academy when he turned eight.

Academy Arc- Lexion joined the Kusakagure Ninja Academy when he was 8. he rather enjoyed his days as an academy student, having fun with his fellow class mates, and learning about all the aspects of the shinobi world. He never really rather had a good taste in taijutsu, nor was he good at it. He did, however, rather excel at ninjutsu and gennjutsu. The teachers, noticing his frequent questions on genjutsu, offered him free lessons after every school day, which he accepted admirably. He became very skilled in genjutsu to the point where he was in the process of developing his own techniques, with nudges from his teacher. Lexion looked forward in his life, walking his way into the shinobi world as a Genin.

Genin Arc- Lexion, now 10 years old, had been teamed with two girls, which he didn't really like. He later on got used to it and ignored them most of the time. The girls eventually gave him the nickname "Lex". When his team went on their first B-Rank mission, they had to defeat a A-Rank Missing Nin. The ninja was skilled in lightning ninjutsu and genjutsu, which was much of a downfall to Lexion. The missing-nin then trapped Lexion in a B-Rank genjutsu, which Lexion had trouble getting out of. The ninja was able to defeat one of his teammates and wound their Jounin sensei. When the he was about to deliver the final blow on his teammate, Lexion was somehow able to free himself from the genjutsu without a "Kai" release and intercepted the attack. The team then used the last of their strength to kill the missing ninja with the help of their sensei. A month after his 12th birthday, he passed the Chuunin Exams and became a full active Chuunin. At this time, Lexion began to use a Lexicon as his weapon of chose.

Chuunin Arc- Lexion was put in another unique team with two jounin, making a three man squad. He was always mocked at by the Jounin cause he was the only Chuunin in the squad. The Kusakage assighned them to a mission that required them to hunt down and kill two Missing-Nin in the Wind Country. When they met the missing-nin, the battle was long and hard. But they left Lexion in the woods as back-up, though they thought he wasn't going to be needed. It was their way of keeping him from battling. The battle lasted almost 3 hours and they still continued to fight. Later, the Jounin were all low on chakra and had no other choice but to call on Lexion. One Missing-Nin was weak and couldn't handle anymore, so he was easy to take down. The other missing-nin was a genjutsu user, which was easier for Lexion to counter since he had already mastered his KKG. Afterwards, Lexion had gained respect from his squad team. He was later taken out of the team and was moved up to Jounin. He is one of the youngest ninja at the time to become a Jounin at the age of 14.

Jounin/Missing-Nin Arc- Lexion, now 16 years old, had been teamed with another Jounin named Roan, which he didn't really like. He later on got used to it and they began to get along. When they went on their first S-Rank mission, they had to defeat a S-Rank Missing Nin. The ninja was skilled in fire, water, and wind ninjutsu, which was a downfall to Lexion. The ninja was able to successfully wound Lexion and held Roan captive. In to defeat the ninja, Lexion would have had to jab right through Roan to kill the enemy. Roan, yelled at Zexion, telling him to kill them both. Holding back tears, Lexion performed some hand seals and shot out a giant fireball at them. Opon contact, the fireball exploded, killing the missing-nin and Roan. When he came back to Kusagakure, the village accused him of killing Roan and ordered him to leave the village and is now classified as a Missing-Nin. Three months later, he met a young female missing-nin named Revy Izumi. After hearing of her plans, he decides to join Revy in her quest. He is the second member of the Black Dusk.

It was your own rules that if an application is good enough, then it would be approved as a chuunin or higher, no offense, but this application is only good enough for a Chuunin .
To get an A rank, there's a lot of work to be done, mainly, the history .
Make it longer, unless you want to lower the rank .
If you don't want to lower the rank, try to add a paragraph more to each arc .
In your book's defense, it explains it can block some weapons and tools, explain how strong the weapons are to break, or pierce it .

Also, your kkg needs further explanation, what is it that's done to cast the genjutsu? I'd like to suggest you switch your main and sub specialties around since you have your kkg as a specialty of gen properties. Last, put rank limitations on your kekkei and what's the name of it? I say give the limitations because its like a full time genjutsu reflect and that'll cause some problems.

Also, in your characteristics, it explains you have a mastery of Genjutsu .
It isn't in your skill specialties, remove it, or something else and keep it .

Um, Fiona, yes it is in my skill specialties. Its right there, its very odvious. Besides, Naizu would have said something if he didn't see it.

As for the KKG, I didn't have a good name for it, so it is unamed for now. However, I did add a limit for the KKG. I also extended the history a little.
