Escape [Revy & Lexion]

The world was still, peace was flooding the small wood land, only the noise of the moving wind could be heard, rhythmically in the scene of pure serenity. Among the nature lied, a clear blue pool of crystalline water surround by a grove of small saplings that eagerly budded towards the sky. Few clouds littered the sun light, peace was unwavering. A small swarm of birds began to fill the clear open blue sky, singing and chirping, filling the quiet air with cheerful sounds. In an unrecognized feat, a young man walked peacefully through the forest, without disrupting the peace. The man had steel-gray, neck-length hair with bangs that cover the right side of his face and light blue eyes. He wears a Kusagakure forehead protector on his forhead, which has a slash across it, giving proof he no longer had ties with his village. This young man took the name of Lexion, being around the age of seventeen, and was around 5'6. He immediately turned as he heard the snap of a twig not to far from where he was standing. Lexion then continued to walk down the path, being more alert of his surroundings.

Revy, who had just recently broke out of the cloud village, being a former captive, was locked in a battle with countless waves of ANBU, ninja, and hunters from the cloud village who are trying to capture her. Killing some, and making others retreat, Revy was fighting for her freedom. This was the only opportunity she had to escape, which was right after the Raikage had died. Holding her large yellow transparent sword in her hand, which was around 10 ft long, and 1 1/2 - 2 ft wide, she clashed with the parties of enemies that charged her. Each one she fought she wound up getting wounded a little more, and more. A large gash in her side, minor cuts all over her body from avoiding projectiles, and senbon, 3 senbon needles sticking out of her right shoulder, and a deep cut right under her left eye, which was slightly squinted, as it was her cursed eye, and began acting up due to the wound under it. As Revy fought off the last few groups, she quickly turned around and began running as fast as she could through the forests, dodging trees, and hoping over objects on the ground. Shortly after she began running, she heard constant, fast foot steps behind her, other then her own. 3 hunters appeared from thin air running towards her, throwing a cloaking cloak behind them as they appeared. Revy decided to keep running as fast as she could, though she was getting tired fast, and her vision began to blur a bit. Not able to pay much attention to where she was running anymore, Revy ran straight into a man that had been walking through the forest at the time. Hitting him caused Revy to fall back on her back, and put her hand up to her head, and make a quiet, but extended moaning sound.

As Revy laid there on her back, not knowing what she just hit, from her vision blurred, the hunters quickly sped up to retrieve her off the ground.

As Lexion continued his venture through the forest, he heard the sound of running footsteps from behind. Just as he turned his head, the person collided into him, making them both fall to the ground. Lexion quickly stood back up, trying to figure out what just happened. He realized the person was a young woman, not much older than he was. She held a large yellow sword in her hand, which was around 10 ft long, and 1 1/2 - 2 ft wide. A large gash was in her side, minor cuts all over her body, three senbon needles sticking out of her right shoulder, and a deep cut right under her left eye. ”Hmmm…..from the looks of it, it appears she was ambushed. Since her wounds still look somewhat fresh and the fact that she was running for her life, she probably is still being pursued.” As he finished his observation, three hunter-nin suddenly jumped out of the trees, landing a few feet away from Lexion. ”So you’re her pursuers, eh?” ”Step aside, we mean you no harm. We only want the lady.” One of the hunter-nin said, completely ignoring Lexion’s question. ”Sorry, but I’m afraid I can’t let you do that. Now that I know you’re the ones who did this to her.” ”You don’t understand, she……” The ninja stopped what he was saying as he noticed the slash across the Lexion’s Kusagakure headband. ”Hey! You’re a Missing-Nin too!” “Wow, nice observation. I can’t believe it took you ten minutes just to figure that out.” Lexion replied sarcastically. Knowing that Lexion was a dangerous threat, the ninja who was talking to Lexion, took out a kunai and prepared to attack. Lexion responded by taking out a small book. ”Beware, this lexicon is my weapon.” ”That’s your weapon? Ha!” The hunter-nin charged at Lexion without hesitation. ”Bad move.” Lexion said, as his lexicon grew in size. It now appeared to be around 5 ft long, and 3 ft wide. He immediately infused his wind-natured chakra into the arrowhead-like blades—through ‘chakra flow’—and slashed at the ninja. Even though the ninja was 3 ft away from the lexicon’s blades, he fell to the ground, dead. Afterwards, the remaining two ninja threw a torrent of senbon at him. Lexion quickly used his lexicon to block the needles and held a simple hand seal, using the lexicon as a curtain so the two ninja won’t see. The ninjas waited for a counterattack as a few leaves fell gently from the sky above them. These “leaves” were actually explosive tags, which were apart of an illusion Lexion had just set up. He then tossed a kunai—with a final exploding tag attached to it—at his opponent’s feet, while they weren’t looking. As they tried to escape, the exploding tags detonate, followed by a huge blast. When the smoke cleared, he saw that one of them had died from the blast, but the other ninja was able to escape with only a few wounds. Knowing that he was no match for Lexion, he retreated back to wherever he came from.

Lexion put away his lexicon, grabbed the unconscious young woman, and made camp somewhere in a open field. He started a campfire and tended to the woman’s wounds. After doing so, he put the woman in his tent and placed her on his sleeping bag. He then sat down on a log and tended to the fire.

Revy, who had blacked out just after colliding with the man, woke up in a tent, and due to her constant fighting for a long time, sprung up fast, thinking she was captured, and started running back, paying no attention to the back of the tent being in front of her. Smacking straight into the back of the tent and falling, along with the entire tent collapsing down on top of her. Revy struggled to get it off her but she was completely covered, and tangled up in it. Due to her blacking out, she did not know that she was saved, rather then captured, and began to tremble a little.

Lexion turned as he saw the tent collapsed and took a deep sigh. Standing up, Lexion grabbed the top of the tent and instantly tossed it off of the woman like nothing. "Relax.....calm down, you aren't captured. Your lucky I showed mercy and decided to save you. However, your foolish stunt just cost me my best and ONLY tent." He said, as he sat back on the log. "But whatever, it doesn't matter anyway." From the looks of it, Lexion seemed to have a very calm but emo-ish attitude. His last sentence had sarcasm written all over it. Lexion then stood back up and headed back into the forest. "I'm going to go look for some more firewood, I'll be right back. Stay here if you want or just leave, I don't care. But because of your condition, its best that you let your body rest. Cause if you get attacked again, you probably won't have the chakra or energy needed to fight." Lexion then created a shadow clone and said, "Keep an eye on the girl till I return." After the shadow clone nodded in reply, Lexion headed into the forest.

Staying silent as the man talked, and just looking up at him, she waited until he walked away to lie back down. Not paying any attention to the clone that was watching over her, Revy turned onto her side without the wound, and bulled a blanket over her, and began to fall asleep. As she was close to sleep, she wondered what someone like him was around these parts for, in the wide open, and being a missing ninja only makes things more dangerous. Revy put her arm around her sword, which was lying down next to her, and quickly fell silently asleep.

The clone watched the woman as she layed back down on the sleeping bag and went to sleep. To pass time, the clone took out its lexicon, being in its small normal state, and began to read the sacred jutsu and information it contained. To pass even more time, the clone began to practice some of the jutsu within the book. First, the clone practiced blowing out tiny green fireballs from his mouth, but he made sure the flames weren't strong enough to burn the field into nothing. The clone then walked over to the sleeping woman, put his hand near the wound underneath her left eye, and muttered a few words. Imediately, the wound healed, leaving no trace of it being there. Knowing that the real Lexion was coming back in a few short seconds, the clone disperse. Just as he did, Lexion appeared from the opening and dropped a pile of firewood near the near-dead fire. Afterwards, Lexion layed down on the grassy floor and went to sleep. At 7am in the morning, Lexion woke up from his sleep and cleaned up the camp a little. "Wake up, Ms. Sleeping Beauty. Time to head out."
