ANBU front and center

"At what price would it be to bring true peace about this world of the worst, most noble, the most cunning and most beloved that is this shinobi world" Oriena said to herself as she sat on a rock. Her location, well, only the leader of Kiragakure, the elder of the hidden mist and the ANBU of the village knew of the area. A large cave like area where those that became apart of the villages secretive nin, this was the meeting place that would soon bring about more in a matter of moments. Oriena was always one that looked to heighten her knowledge of techniques as well as those that have abandoned their village, left due to capture or left due to outcast. She loved the challenges that came about with her job and welcomed them with open arms, sort of speak. Those that were to be in attendance would be the Mizukage, whom was also her clans leader in Naizu Nimakee. The leader of the ANBU, the one whom welcomed to this group in Hakudoshi. A newer, yet very skilled young kunoichi, such as she used to be years back in Kai Fuuma and the one whom sat alone inside at the current moment, Oriena Nimakee.

When the group would enter, they would be briefed on the tasks to be assigned to each them and any questions would be answered. At the moment Oriena was studying her bingo book and looking though to find anyone new to the pages in the last month or so. At the current time, she fully wore her bloody eyed designed mask and an all black long sleeved shirt as well as all black full length sweat pants. At her feet were a mass of scrolls she had finished making in a variety sizes, as well as a pen and pad to make notes post meeting. "I suppose I should pack up as the others will be here momentarily" she said aloud to herself, reaching to her side. She picked up a black back pack, small but roomy enough to store her belongings as needed. As she started to do so, a poof of smoke came about and the first individual made their way to the area.

Hakudoshi appeared in a swirl of mist and water, looking none-the-worse for wear and his clothes looking perfectly fine, despite the speeds at which he moved. The short, masked-and-hooded ANBU Taichou looked around the area, his eyes landing on the large lake that was nearby, causing a smirk to slither onto his face. That would really help him in the event he had to spar with any of the ANBU that were going to show up and quite possibly even the Mizukage himself. Lucky him that the Mizukage chose this place to be the meeting area. Granted he could just create a water source but that would take more chakra then simply using an already existing source and it does go against his entire fighting style to expend more energy then necessary.

He pulled himself out of his thoughts to examine the only other person there, a woman he recognized as Oriena Nimakee, a relative to his Mizukage. He didn't know that much about her aside from her abilities, which was all he needed to know at the moment. He gave her a stiff, cold and professional nod of his head as he acknowledged her presences. "Ah, Oriena-Kohai(Junior/Protege), it is good to finally meet you face to face, Boku" he said in a cold, emotionless, professional tone as he stood ramrod straight due to years of practice and patiently and silently waited for his Raibaru Naizu-Sama and his newest Rikiruto/Kohai ANBU member Kai. This was his second personality, cold, emotionless, patient and professional, an air of cold strictness he kept up around himself since he was on duty right now, exhibiting a rather impressive and admirable aura of experience, wisdom and professionalism. It wouldn't do for him to act in an unprofessional manner while on duty and in uniform.

Arrival was of bliss, and of non-importance. The new ANBU female had to place her mask on. Nothing more but her mask had changed her appearance. But her mask itself was different, but will be explained why later. Kai appeared through the area out of the heat itself right in front of the lake, where she turned around slowly. Her ANBU mask covering only half her face, she specialiy designed her mask herself for her affinity purposes. It was not against the rules at all, she was to keep hidden anyway so It worked out.



Her emotions were a bit toned, but no matter she was very interested in her first ANBU meeting. Her heat sensory already caught her ANBU leader, and another ANBU which she faced off against not long ago. So she showed up where they were to see what it was all about. The weather was pretty hot, the sun was shinning on a high scale. She had dropped her jacket at home, and came with a black half shirt on showing her stomach due to the heat. The rest was usual, pants and shoes was still in place. She couldn’t wait for this meeting to begin, she had been apart of things like this before but on this scale of secerectcy not at all. So she waited in silence for the two in front to start, then she remembered that the mizukage isn’t present. She placed her left hand in her left pocket, then the right and closed her eyes as she waited for something to happen.

“Present…”

Hakudoshi turned to look in the direction that he heard what sounded like feet impacting against soil, his improved sense of hearing picking them up easily. He then looked up, his Sanbi-like Turtle mask-covered face coming to rest on the face of his newest member. He heard his newest ANBU member say she was present and he tightened up his posture, giving her an acknowledging nod of his head as he stood in a military-esque, perfect, professional posture, one of his hands on the hilt of his tanto, preparing to draw it at any time trouble made it's appearance here. The mysterious short loner known as the Kirigakure ANBU Taichou was curious about his newest, getting a file on her that gave him a lot of information about her that he committed to memory.

He found her disrespect of his person while he was uniform to be irritating but he didn't let it get to him that much, though he knew that he would have to fix that later on in her training. He WAS responsible for training the recruits and that made her his responsibility. From what he knew, she was a Katon Jutsu Mistress, something that was rare since most people of Kirigakure were aligned to Suiton, like himself, though they were nowhere near as proficient in it as himself. He was also a bit of a rarity, having a second alignment to Raiton, something which he found invigorating, since because he fought using Suiton, it would really help improve his odds with battle. Thankfully for him though, his skills, along with his identity and appearance, were completely unknown to people aside from the Mizukage, who had extensive information on every ninja in Kirigakure, though his information was deemed classified, due to his nature at being the Sanbi Jinchuuriki, which was also classified and only a few people knew of that, which was great for him since the less information people had on him, the better. He wasn't going to start up a conversation with his newest recruit, deciding to let her start it off instead.

Kai head went back to her leader, the leader of them all. So she should be grateful, but due to the fact that she never met him and he just looks like he just demands respect was something she was not going to tolerate. Kai wanted to break the ice, she didn’t know how to how to do it. Spinning in complete three sixty. Then she would begin to walk over until she got to the water which was only of a few steps. To her this was going to be a bit fun, she lightly leaped in the center of the lake, and then turned around lightly. Her chakra used to stand on top of the lake with a large wall of rock behind her. She looked towards her ANBU leader. She gave a small smirk which would be visible due to her custom made mask on. “Hey Shorty, why don’t you show me the difference between a normal ANBU and the leader until the Mizukage gets here, because I’m not seeing the difference…Oriena jump in if you like….Leaders first” With that thought in mind she waited for her leaders response, with her reflexes and stance ready for action.

A vein started to pulse on his head as the woman made fun of him for his height again. He always hated people commenting on his height and to know that even one of his Kohai's was giving him slack about his height really brought out a spark of anger in him. His anger quickly turned to curiosity as he watched as Kai move onto the center of the large lake and openly challenged him. He grinned behind his mask, recognizing her making a rookie mistake. She apparently forgot that they were citizens of Mizu no Kuni, a place where it was common for ninjas to have the Suiton Element. Without actually acknowledging her challenge, he made a string of hand seals much faster then Oriena or Kai could make, about 25% fast, quickly blurring through the hand seals so fast that it would astound Kai and Oriena at it's speed. "I → Inu → Tori → Saru → Hitsuji - Suiton - Daibakuryuu no Jutsu" he whispered quietly, just quiet enough so that he could hear it, but no one else would, since he didn't want the challenger or the one-woman audience to recognize the jutsu based on name alone since it would be foolish the shout out the name of a Jutsu and alert your enemy beforehand as a massive whirlpool started to form beneath Kai and start spiraling at an almost neck-breaking pace as it attempted to suck Kai down to the bottom of the lake.

The time had come for the plans to be laid out for the ANBU and the leader of the hidden mist made his way to. A large flame appeared at the center of all the commotion as the Mizukage arrived in a blaze that would resemble that to show rage. "This is not the time for this, you'll have you shot at settling things after we get business done" he spoke loudly and fiercely" he spoke as the flame formed his body and subdued into his normal appearance. "Should you still wish to fight right now..." he said as grabbed kai, snatching her from the whirlpool and sending her by Oriena. "You may simply face me" he said as he appeared in front of Hakudoshi, with his back to him. There were actually two Naizu's, the one that had thrown Kai to the side and now walking towards her and Oriena, and the other, the real one whom was two feet in front of Hakudoshi.

The time had come for the plans to be laid out for the ANBU and the leader of the hidden mist made sure he had all attention on him. Walking into the median of all three ANBU, he spoke aloud but calmly to them, "I want you all to understand exactly why you are here but first I want to bring introduction to you all. Behind me is the Captain of your special unit, Hakudosi and if there is a problem with him, being such you may test his skill and learn my reason form making him such the hard way" he said understanding Kai Fuuma's fascination with making fun of his height. "To my forefront is one whom will is a fellow clanswoman, but will not receive any special treatment due to it, Oriena Nimakee. Lastly is to individual to my right, the latest addition to the unit but one whom I'm sure will be making the proper impact for us, Kai Fuuma" he said as he reached into his left robe pocket. From it he pulled out three bingo books and tossed one to each of them and spoke once more, "Thus far, are there any questions?"

Kai showed somewhat of a smirk as the mist started to fill the area, what they didn’t know is the skills and special talent that she has. She could sense him clearly, leaping right on time dodging the attempt for grapple and the whirlpool landing on the rock behind her. She then showed a sigh, then disappeared and reappeared right next to Hakudoshi and Oriena. She figured the time for ‘practice’ isn’t right now. She knew she probably needed to gather this information on what was given.



She noticed the Mizukage and his clones, no mind to either of it. Her hands down, or at least the left one. Right hand was on her waist in a posture somewhat like a girly girl. She then began to hear herself think for a moment zoning out on his words, she then blinked when se heard of her name itself. She didn’t have much of a response, but she did have a question. She did find it quite funny for him to show off the ‘tough guy’ role in front of his ANBU.


“Special unit…”

Oriena simply relaxed against the wall, watching everything as it unfolded and not saying a single word to either. To her, the battle would be petty to and something that takes away from their title as they as ANBU weren't to have short tempers typically. Observing as the woman taunted their Captain, she didn't expect for the man to simply leap into course of action. But the action didn't stay its course for too long as Naizu had made his way to the area and put a rest to the actions at hand. As he spoke, he centered himself between them all and spoke in a confident way and introducing them to the reason of gather. When tossed the book, Oriena quickly scanned through it and found a few new faces, but using her finger as book mark, she closed it to continue listening. When he spoke the words of "Special Unit", she, like Kai, held question to what exactly he meant by this. "Lord Mizukage, by 'Special Unit', do you mean we as ANBU in general?" she asked politely and aloud.

Hakudoshi's form stiffened up when the Mizukage appeared, though there was a slight hint of his shoulders drooping in disappointment, most likely because he didn't want the battle to come to an end when it just started but they only agreed to fight until the Mizukage arrived. He quickly sheathed his ANBU-commissioned Tanto that all members of the ANBU Corps. got as his gloved hands quickly disappeared back into the sleeves his cloak. He listened patiently as the ANBU talked about forming a special ANBU unit. He wasn't a genius by any means but he was smart enough to realize why he was discussing it in the open with two other ANBU members other then him, who as the ANBU Taichou was required to know this information, and immediately came to a conclusion that made him groan. That meant that he was going to be put into this special ANBU unit with these two, one of which was a greenhorn ANBU. Don't get him wrong, he made it his business to train and look out and being kind to and almost befriending all the ANBU under his leadership but he didn't want to be work with them out in the field. He worked better alone but he wasn't going to argue with his superior. So, after steeling up his features completely and tucking away all emotion, he replied to the Leader of Kirigakure. "You wish to stick the three of us together. Very well Mizukage-Raibaru, I will do as you say and ensure these two come back alive on any missions or Nuke-Nin hunts we have together. It is my job as ANBU-Taichou to ensure the continued survival of all ANBU under my command" he said with a salute and low sweeping bow.
