"Mammals.... Well. I personally love canines, but snakes come second on my list." Tsumi said, getting on his knees and saying a short prayer for the snake.

miyuki made the earth around the snake pure marble and on the headstone it had

"That is very thoughtful of you." Tsumi said, standing up. He placed a hand on her shoulder, in a gesture of thanks.

she sighed. " thankyou, though i wish i could bury it in its birthplace..."

"T'would be difficult. I have no idea where it was summoned from."

"hm...well. might as well leave him in peace." she left the mini shrine, swiftly climbed a tree and satdown.

Tsumi did something similar, though instead of finding one he grew one. It rested right behind the mini shrine, keeping it shaded. This was his gift to the snake. The tree flourished with Black and White flowers. Tsumi climbed into it and began playing a sad song on his punji, as all the snakes in the area came to the music, and to pay their respects as Tsumi commanded them to.

she smiled at the beating hearts she saw. she made it a hill so the rain wouldnt wash them a way in the biou season.
