Metaru shrugged, "So what do you propose we do?"

miyuki sighed. she had a headache now. " just use it to my own gain i supose..."

"Fair enough, so where's the saenge net, or wheever you called it? And what is it?"

"its just a bunch of lizard-like mutants that evolved with us, eating our already dead parents. a baby willow kills its parents and drinks it blood. then runs off. the scavengers stay in the birthing grounds eating what is left."

"So, what you're saying, is we've got to go steal ki's will from hungry mutant lizards, right?"

"more or less, theyve also been feeding on nearby villagers. they might have evolved already to a higher extent."

Metaru nodded, then started following Miyuki again, "Great..."

"this is gonna be fun" a large smile came over kisho's face as he began cracking his knuckles looking around for the lizards as he walked

miyuki walked up to the smooth stone. "kisho, i heard you fought one of them in the oto reagion. the one in the sand are completely different. they are much worse, but yet you know that..."

Metaru nodded, "Me and Kisho will take care of the lizards, you just find whatever it is you're looking for."

"okay, then get on my fan." she said, making her fan twice the size of herself. "ill propell you up."

Metaru leaped on the fan, ready to descend into the lizards pit. patiently, he waited for Kisho to do the same. Knowing that Kisho was a taijutsu specialist, Metaru's strategy would involve support tactics, firing off blasts from afar and taking out specific targets while Kisho met the brunt of the group head on.

as kisho jumped o, miyuki sent a blast of air underneath the fan. grabbing hold of it at the last minute. "dont underestimate them."

"come now, do you think some lizards can stop me" he drew his sword and waited for the chance to fight

Kicking Miyuki off the fan, Metaru and Kisho flew over the lip. "You should stop underestimating us, Miyuki!" As they flew above the pit, Metaru looked down, noting a mass of squirming lizards, humanoid in shape, standing on two legs. Many of them had already noticed the fan, their jaws up in the sky, prepared for a meal. "Alright, Kisho, I'll clear us an entrance, and then do your thing." Metaru then leapt off the fan, as if he was diving. getting closer to the pit, more jaws were upturned, ready to snap him up. As Metaru grew even closer to the ground, a larger lizard leapt, trying to sideswipe him. Twisting, Metaru gave it a sharp kick to the face, sending it off in another direction. Now nearer to the ground, he twisted again, delivering a fist to another lizard and landing on it's hunched over back. He then threw out both his palms, clearing a circle around him, pushing lizards back with his magnetic pulse. "Now!"

kisho jumped off the fan, silently falling down. as he got closer to the ground one of the lizards reached out with it's open mouth to bite him. kisho simply spun slightly, swinging down his sword, cleaving the creature down the middle, as he landed, he spun on his heels, slicing the lizard behind him in half

Metaru paced himself, now that he had his circle established, any lizard that came close to him was blown back by a pulse. When one got a little too close to his backside, metal from his disk impaled it, causing it to fall to the ground. Metaru turned and kicked the body away, but to his surprise, as it rolled, it got back up, the holes in it's chest healing. The akatsuki member then looked over to Kisho, seeing him cleave lizards in half, but as he did, the lizards seemed to rejoin and revive themselves. "Kisho! We have a problem! I think some of these reptiles have been eating far too much Willow meat!"

"than just start burning them" he pulled small red orb out of his jacket and placed it into a slot in the hilt of his sword, and as soon as he did the blade of his sword burst into flame and he continued to slice through the lizards, setting each of them on fire as he did so. he turned towards where miyuki was at and shouted "you can grab the thing anytime you want you know"

Metaru nodded, right, he didn't know any fire jutsu. Improvisation time. Lunging forward, Metaru leaped and spun, streaming a line of mud underneath quite a few lizards from his mouth, before landing and forming a handseal. Immediately, the mud shot up forming a wall, launching lizards into the air. Metaru then charged his fingers with electricity, firing bolt after bolt, shooting them through and searing the wounds shut. When that round was done, he then forced the wall down and outwards, burying dozens more.

"Burying or trapping seems to work too," He glanced over again, "but whatever you're doing looks like it works!"

Kisho had a point though, with these things regenerating, there was no telling how long they'd keep coming. Now that Metaru looked closer, they're were holes in the ground, they were burrowers, meaning their tunnels could stretch on for miles. "Forget what I said about burying them!"

(next time, wait for me to tell you their abilities. plus, their the only ones that can kill a baby and a fully grown willow)the lizards were buried but then as they came up they had grown 20x larger and their scales had turned red. they raised their wings and blew them back. making them hit the wall since there was no hold on the hard ground. when metaru activated his magnetic force, he was pulled back ward by the force of the onyx. (its magnetic so if you use magnets here, youll be affected too)

miyuki was sitting at the edge of the several foot wall watching them flail. she rememberd when she was almost mauled by one of them. she found out she couldnt use the atom eyes here. ( srry guys all of the restrictions wre kis idea)

the lizards circled them, as they opend their mouths there was a haze coming out.

miyuki sighed. " guys, hold your breath. their breath as oil and tranquilizing abilities. if you get caught in it, your dead and im not coming down there until i know your done for."

Metaru back up instantly, noting the large differences between what were probably the smallest of the group to the larger ones that now appeared. He also noted that his magnetic force was being slightly interfered with, meaning he'd have to use more chakra. Using what would probably have to be the last of his magnetic techniques, he formed a small oxxygen mask over his face, covering his mouth as the oil and gases flew towards him. he then leapy, up and away latching himself onto the high walls and observing the lizards from above. Where had Kisho gone to now?

they took to the air and as if the blue one in the front was marsheling them, they airdived at him one at a time while the other half stayed with kisho. trying to eat him.

Metaru decided to use their size to his advantage. Because of their long arms and necks, if he stayed in close to their stomachs, they'd have a harder time getting to him. Lunging off the wall, Metaru ran down the blue one's back, narrowly missing his teeth. Sliding off it's tail, he then flung himself directly in front of a red one, charging chakra to his fist. In a moment, it was thrown across the pit. A couple more lizards followed suite, then Metaru hit the ground.

their many tails swept under them and grabbed his neck, pulling him down and almost breaking his spine.

Metaru was thrown against the side wall by their tails.

"Forgot about the tails."

Snapping his wrist down, a lightning charged blade extended from it, and Metaru went in again, attempting to pierce and stab amidst all his careful dodging.
