A presence seemed to grace the land. As a young man dressed in black emerged from the shadows in the dark night in the outskirts of Konoha. Sairyou had arrived into the area and was keen on finding a new challenge. Suddenly he spotted a figure in the distance. He checked his hand a bit and made sure he could fight. That feisty opponent from the Chuunin Exams had sliced pretty well into the middle finger of his right hand. That was his favorite hand for throwing a punch.
He walked up to the man and looked at him. It was a missing ninja. Sairyou could tell because of the slash through the symbol of a leaf on it. A newly lost comrade to the insanity that was the outside world he supposed. “What do YOU want?” said the man in a sassy tone. Sairyou laughed at this man’s cockiness. “Blood,” he said. Suddenly he activated his sharingan and took a fighting stance that looked similar to Blood Wind Ninjutsu. A smile arched across the mystery man’s face as he swiftly summoned a long blade. Sairyou looked at it knowing this man was some kind of warrior to hold a seven foot long katana as such. “Don’t get so cocky you little brat!” the man said angrily.
Suddenly the blade was rose up and swung straight down at Sairyou’s skull. Sai swiftly dodged the blade and threw a punch at the man. Suddenly, something stopped him… Sairyou was somehow stopped in his place, some kind of jutsu that prevented him from moving any closer. The man somehow was able to move though. A kick went right to Sairyou’s chin. He slid back a bit and realized that this man somehow stopped all kinetic energy within a certain range of him. Sai looked at the blade. He knew what had to be done, but he was still weak. He tried to get a grasp on it and he did… but the blade was sharp, and a pain made Sairyou back off.
With a grunt, he knew what would need to be done. He closed his eyes. The man was now really fast. He was apparently able to use kinetic energy to boost his own kinetic output as well. Sairyou was going to need to predict this man’s movements better, so that he would exert the least amount of motion needed to win this fight. He reopened his eyes, showing a second tomoe in his sharingan. “Let’s get serious now,” Sai said with a raging look in his eye. The man ran towards Sairyou at a high speed, putting his blade out to stab Sairyou. “I can see,” Sai mumbled to himself. Suddenly, he moved slightly, the blade passing directly next to him. Sai put his fist out and the man’s gut crashed right into his arm. The man lost his grip on the blade and the sword went flying somewhere else. “Now it shall end!” Sai shouted. Suddenly, Sai twisted around and skidded his foot a little bit, letting his leg snap right up, crashing the back of Sairyou’s leg into the man’s jaw. The man went flying as blood blasted from the man’s mouth, he flopped onto the ground as he landed harshly, making a stream where he skidded.
Sairyou sighed and brushed a little hair out of his eyes. He walked over to the sword and grabbed it to turn in to the Hokage.
