Fighting in the tunnel (Chuunin exam fight topic)

Gen stepped threw the hole that was made in the tunnel, he then glanced to his left, then to his right. But once he had glanced to his right he had seen a shinobi's chakra, he could also that that this shinobi was holding a Earth scroll in their hand. The scroll that he and his teammate needed was a Earth scroll so they were going to have to fight for that scroll. Gen looked back into the tunnel were his partner Zein was waiting for him, he swiftly swiftly swung his hand giving him the signal to come threw the tunnel. Gen then began to walk to the left walking far enough to were the two contestants of the chuunin exams would have to be far into the tunnel to notice that they were in the tunnel. He was trying to be as quite as possible, so he and Zein could attack them by surprise and remove the Earth scroll from there possession. Gen knelled down on his knee as he kept his eye on the entrance of the tunnel wating for the shinobis partner to arrive so that they would proceed threw the tunnel were Gen and Zein were located. While keeping an eye on the entrance of the tunnel Gen began to speak to him self. (in my mind)

"Yes our chance has come. We will catch these shinobi off guard and take the earth scroll by either force, or them just giving it to use but i doubt that will happen. But i will be ready to attack and win i do i will hit hard yet taking the earth scroll and processed onto the tower some were down there"

Gen said to him self, then looked behind him, but immediately he looked back towards the entrance and kept a look down there. Gen was hoping that this shinobis partner will show up some time soon because if no then he was just going to bum rush the ninja. Which meant he was going to exit the tunnel were the shinobi is then fight them taking the earth scroll.

Zein had a perfect idea when he said he found them and he put his hidden blade down. He looked at gen, Tell me exactly where the one holding our scroll is and he will be dead. he then prepared to do a jutsu Zein had it perfectly planned for assassination and he would do it in a minute. [color=green]Or do you just want to steal the scroll [/color Zein could make both happen easily and quickly with almost no effort. his hood right then seemed to cover more of his face making the shadow go to his bottom lip.

As Gen sat on his knees he listened to Zein. Gen then began to speak back to him " They have a earth scroll, and just do whatever u can to got the scroll. So if you need to kill then do it show no mercy as shall i do the same". Gen said as he continued looking seeing someones chakra. "All we have to do is wait, it wont take long because someone will need the heaven scroll and they will also be looking like we are". Gen whispered to Zein as he began to build up a large amount of Chakra in his palm waiting for the right time to attack.

Naiko was wandering in the tunnels in the chuunin exams. He was aware of anyone around him for a large area, the reason was his destruction(Kikachii) bugs are all around the area scouting...searching for other genin teams holding other scrolls needed to pass that exam. Moments later, one group of his bugs spotted a genin team heading towards Naiko's way. Naiko quickly thought of a plan, " Damn where the hell is my partner?... am I going to work alone here?..." Naiko murmured. Quickly thinking, he left a bug clone standing on his position even before the other genin team can detect him. He left the bug clone stand there bearing his appearance allowing Naiko to move and prepare for they're arrival. The tunnel has trees on its entrance, the total number was 5, three on the left side and two on the right side. Naiko first headed to the left side, he took something from his backpack... he later revealed it as explosive tags. He placed two explosive tags on each of the four trees but leaving one safe, the distance between the 5 trees was enough for a person on the other side of another tree not getting affected by the explosion of the tags. Naiko stayed on the fifth tree and waited for the genin to arrive on that area, but looks like they are not going to make the first move, so Naiko ordered the bug clone to take a more closer position to the genin team, enough for them to see the bug clone in the opening of the entrance. The bug clone cant be detected by chakra detecting kekkai genkai's because it has the chakra of an average ninja being composed of chakra eating bugs who have they're own tiny chakra pool that when you combine can form a ninja's chakra level. Meanwhile Naiko waited patiently in the fifth tree, he murmured again, " If they want this scroll, then they'll have to fight for it.." Naiko chuckled afterwards taking a look on the earth scroll on his backpack. " The moment those genin's steps in this area, they're as good as dead, this area is crawling off with my bugs... but killing is banned here,... this is just for fun..." Naiko is confident, but in the good sense, if ever they get caught in the explosion of the tags, they wont be dead, they will only sustain enough injuries to knock them out. The trap was perfectly placed, no one will able to detect it, no matter how strong they're sensor is, and Naiko is confident that, the clone will get they're attention.

Kaiyo was wandering the twists and turns of the seemingly infinite tunnels of the Chuunin Exam.He had a picture of who his partner was supposed to be, under the circumstance that he would get lost and do something stupid.He took a good look at the picture and decided to sing to himself, though not particularly loud. "Naiko, Naiko, this be Kaiyo, where are you buddy? I don't wanna get muddy!" rhyming Naiko with Kaiyo and Buddy with Muddy.He continued walking, singing his little song until his voice gave up on him and them it became something more like "Nike, Nike, tibi Kike, w'r'y' 'uddy? D'n'wan' g' mu'" which sounds more like a tribal chant than a song for finding your partner.Suddenly in a clearing he saw Naiko standing, he ran over to him, his voice back out of his excitement."Finally found you! I'm your partner, Kaiyo! You sure look stiff, are you alright there?" as he continued talking to the clone, which he quite simply thought was the real Naiko and was curious as to why he was standing like that.If Naiko really wanted to, he could probably kill Kaiyo in the current situation though who knows how Naiko would react to his partner's moment of idiocy.

Zein stood there and waited for his enemies to get in his sight as he then turned in to his smoke form and floated on the floor so it just looked like there was nothing but smoke on the floor.

Gen also heard the echo of someone that was in the tunnel. But his Byakugan could only sense one persons presents, but yet he didn't have the scroll he didn't have either scroll. Gen then took a step in front of his partner and prepared for his attack being blocked by the smoke. With out further notice gen began to build of a great amount of chakra that into his palm. But before doing anything he pulled out 5 kunai that had a explosive tag wrapped around each of them, All of the kunai were linked together by a string. Gen threw all of he Kunai as he took step forwards closing his palm then quickly thrusting it forwards sending a large invisible wave of chakra towards his opponent. The invisible wave of chakra Was just about the same size of the tunnel. Thus Then the Kunai would of get pushed by the invisible wave of chakra making them fly faster and had more hard to see because the tunnel was dark, but they might of been able to see the kunai since were they were was light. Gen also knew once they seen the invisible wave of chakra it would of been to late The kunai would of exploded causing them to be get knocked out, or the invisible wave of chakra that would of for sure knocked them out and yet maybe closed there tenketsu points.

Gen glanced at his partner that was behind him as he began to speak to the kid "Alright, Lets move in but keep your eyes open for any strange movement, and ill do all i can. Oh and be careful, and quite.

Gen said as he spoke to his partner, but was faced towards the other end of the tunnel. Gen then began to make some hand signs as the slowly walked towards the other end of the tunnel waiting for something to happen while he looked threw out the whole cave with his Byakugan trying to find the enemy. Gen also expected for his partner to be doing the same and getting a good look at there surroundings trying to find then enemy. But as they walked further down to the tunnel Gen made some hand signs preparing for his next attack, but he also knew that he needed to watch his chakra level because it would suck if they lost this match by losing all of his chakra.

Zein heard what gen said as he drifted forwards in smoke form as he then was under gens feet as he was walking over him. Zein from his smoke puddle form was as quiet as ever and could not be heard. finnaly gonna get in to some action Zein thought and he floated a bit farther away.

" Wrong move,...." Naiko murmured as he was notified by his bugs that one of the genin of the other team is using large amounts of chakra for a area attack. Naiko can also see what the bug clone, being a good sensor he was able to sense the incoming attacks. Naiko murmured again, " Invisible chakra blasts?... a Hyuuga..." Before even the attack was released, Naiko quickly jumped down towards his partner, who was currently talking to his clone who remained stationary. As Naiko was falling he took a scroll from his backpack and as he landed on the ground he placed it on the ground itself. Biting a finger of his and reciting the oath, a huge stone erupted infront of Naiko and Kaiyo his genin partner. By that time the chakra was already released along with unknown weapons. A huge man, towering above Naiko and Kaiyo stood infront of them. Naiko ordered the bug clone to intercept the incoming attack by attacking head on head on it. At the same time Naiko ordered the clone, the man infront them gave Naiko a look, he ordered him also, " Protect us Rook...". As soon as Naiko was finished, the man who apparently Naiko called Rook slammed both of his hands on the ground, getting as much stone from the ground as possible, then moments later forming it into shields. He held the first one and threw the other to Naiko. Seconds after that scene, a huge explosion occured. Naiko had ordered the clone to head on smash the attack, he didn't knew that the attack was a combination of explosion tags. The 5 kunai's stucked to the body of the clone and exploding seconds later. The explosion occured few meters only away from the other genin team, but the explosion didn't hurted them. But the explosion was strong enough to disturb the upper ceiling of the tunnel, seconds later it crumbled and large chunks of rocks fell from above. At first the falling rock chunks only started in the middle of the tunnel where the other genin team stood, but sooner it covered the whole tunnel, to be simply the tunnel itself is collapsing due to the force and impact of the explosion of the explosion tags. Even if the other genin team notices the collapsing tunnel, it would already be too late to escape the inside out, because the entrance of the tunnel will be covered and blocken by the huge rock chunks, leaving the genin team inside to get smashed by the rocks, the impact of those rocks will cause them to fall unconcious. While Naiko, Kaiyo and Rook stood infront of the tunnel, they are also indangered by the huge rock chunks falling from the ceiling. Luckily the stone shields made by Rook protected all three of them, while the other genin team perished.

Personality: Rook of the " Shogi Summoning Pieces " is the second most quiet piece of them all. Quiet to the sense that he almost never talks to the other member of the pieces. Laconic is the term that he possess, he answers very briefly. His a very focused warrior, and won't stop for anything. He possess a very powerful wit or fighting spirit. And promised to protect Naiko at all costs. Rook have a very cold relationship with the other members of the " piece ", and really has a hard time doing teamwork with them.

Looks: Rook is by far, the largest " piece ". Weighing 340 pounds, really huge. That is because he is the main defense of the " Pieces ". Rook has a very mascular body, and have two large stone pads on both of his shoulders, showing the kind of power he possesses. He also have stone pads on both of his legs, but this never hinders Rook's speed in the battlefield. He wears a large metal armor across his body, that weighs double of his weight. His fierce looking face brings terror to his opponents.

Description: Rook is the defensive type in the line up of the " Shogi Piece Group ". His jutsus are fortification one, strengthening once own defense and his teamates. Naiko once stumbled upon a man in a forest, so thirsty and hungry. Naiko was about to have a alone picnic that time, but seeing as the man is really hungry and thirsty, something touched Naiko's heart that he shared his meals to the old man. What Naiko didn't knew is that old man was once a great shinobi specialize in strategy in his own village. Seeing Naiko's intentions we're true, he decided to give Naiko a reward, a summoning contract. Before the man left the area, he explained Naiko what powers the summoning contract held. But there was on tiny problem, the numbers of the summon is incomplete until Naiko attains full power. The summoning contract had a kanji sealing " Shogi ". The man replaced Naiko as the master of the contract. Naiko was facinated with the words shogi, because he knew this summons will greatly aid him in his life.

Description: Rook will slam both of his hands on the ground and reaches out for clumps of rock and stone. After getting enough stone, the stone will form into a earth shaped shield. Each for rook and another teamate, possibly Naiko. The power of the shield differ on how much chakra was used on it, may vary from C-Rank to B-Rank. The Earth shield can withstand a couple of B-Rank Water jutsus. Will break with one C-Rank or above Lightning Jutsu. It can withstand C-Rank jutsus of the other elements. About Taijutsu, it will not easily break for one.

"Phew, you really saved me back there! Can't believe I managed to get away with my hair! Time to seal the fate of this pair." he said as now being protected from any real injury, can begin to help nature run it's course of defeating his opponents.Performing a few handseals Kaiyo slammed his hands down onto the ground and sent vibrations through it, turning the soil down the tunnel in front of him into mud.The mud was viscous so Rook would have lost some footing but generally can still serve his defensive purpose.Should the enemy shinobi get caught in the mud their escape would become much more difficult as it will notably reduce their mobility, making it near impossible to dodge the falling debris using their own speed alone.What were the odds he was paired with such a capable partner, he really was relieved that lady luck must have been on his side in this affair.

OOC: i am sorry for the short post and absence of posting i dont have much time right now.

Zein looked at the rocks coming down and one of them came towards his head. he moved to the side as one of the other rocks crashed against that rock smashing the one that fell on it as one of the chunks of it flew off at Zein and it was small to the size of the rock it came off it was about the size of a foot ball he then took a kuni out and smashed the rock coming at him and then the rock still his his hand barely making it bleed in alot of spots.

OOC: W/E Naiko

Once Gen sensed that the tunnel was about to come down on them he quickly made actions. As Gen noticed that Zein had already moved out of the way he was clear to move, he quickly began spinning backwards. At the same time Gen began to release a large of amount of chakra from His tenketsu creating a whirling vortex around him. The whirling vortex would of blocked all of the rocks falling down on his head. Because gen was spinning backwards he went right back into the whole that they came from and was safe from all falling rocks. The whirling vortex disappeared into the air, but then Gen began to walk towards the end of the tunnel to see if he could get a good look at were they were at. But if gen couldn't then he would simply continue into the tunnel and try and find someone that had a heaven scroll.

OOC: Gen, to stop rocks that size from hitting you, would require a large amount of spinning speed, and a lot of chakra use, as well as incredible balance. A Genin at your rank wouldn't be able to pull that off, without tripping or something, or losing balance, and forcing to stop, especially doing it while walking backwards.

Predictable, the size of the rocks wouldn't just cut your arm, they would most likely crush your arm, or you entirely, considering their huge rock chunks falling from the ceiling.
