Accomplishment of Nothingness . [Flarnex, Saruno .]

Ryu, who was in Saruno's arms, after the duel, unconcious, pale, and almost dead, her skin ripped, and wounds digging into, and past her flesh. In her hand, was a kunai, which she would have killed her husband with after she had gone manical, but only dug a pierce into his skin. Her eyes, were obviously closed, and her pink, pouty lips firmed tightly against eachother, her head against Saruno's shoulder, and the marriage ring, which still layed on her finger, perfectly clean, and in her arms, a small plush kitten doll, which sometimes could talk to her, but never fight, until Ryu had taught the doll, like a puppet, but a mere doll.

Saruno's hair was against hers, being smaller then him, but held high in his arms, but for a woman her age, she was as light for a healthy body, but fragile as a twig.

A small few coughs came through his lips as he held his free hand towards his mouth. He felt the drawbacks of his Jutsu and Yuui come onto him from that intensive battle. His wounds weren't helping in the pain of carrying Ryu back to the village, even if he had to fight his way to his last breath, he would protect her. He was holding her in a position that her hair was against his own, the parts of the black and blond streaks showing from the shifting colors of his emotions, but being locked when he released Yuui. His footsteps were silent along the ground below his feet, his wings perched on his back in a weak position, though still folded neatly. He was tired, no, exhausted from the battle earlier, and to protect her, he would have to find his way back. He couldn't fly in his current condition, with the battle scars on his face, chest, back and wings. His shirt was torn off from Ryu, along with setting in some markings.

"R-ryu..." he said quietly, his eyes only half closed, he still had enough chakra to make sure nothing came by them, and to retaliate on contact.

There are fateful days in all our histories. Those days are like turning points in your life where big decisions are made or days where something really important occurs. And such days, as we know it, are very few. But have people actually spend time thinking how these days are actually meant to be fateful? The people who have...will have a small surprise for you. Yes, they will tell you that each day in your life and each moment you pass is a fateful one. There are no particular or special fateful days...it's just our belief that makes those days special. What will you say when you see a person a few seconds after you think about him or her? Coincidence? Yes, but to be precise, its written as part of your destiny. Each person's life is like a book where there are numerous chapters and one last ending.

Is it just mere coincidence that Kevin took the narrow path from the outskirts of the stone village for a walk and saw his two earlier best friends injured? No, its fate...destiny...whichever term you prefer. The training with the girl, Shin, had been over earlier the evening. Kevin had told the kage that he wanted a few hours to freshen his mind....erase off the painful past...and nothing seemed a better solution than taking a stroll through the narrow paths. But that can be, as they put it, the big decision right? The decision to take the path in which his past lover and friend were struggling to go further for help.

The terrain was uneven. Kevin saw Saruno carrying Ryu, limping with pain. He observed the wounds. Tears came to his eyes as he saw his two friends injured and in no condition to go any further.His emotions got overflowed with sadness and anger. Why did he leave his friends? He could have done something.... 'No, you would've done nothing,' his mind told him. 'No, I would've..I can...do something', he thought as though giving a reply. He was being childish. But then the childhood, teenage moments with Ryu, Saruno...all came back. He tried...tried to push all those memories to a poky corner in his mind. But it was of no use. Seconds passed by as Kevin observed Saruno limping and carrying Ryu with closed eyes. It was as though he was frozen at seeing the sight. And then a sudden urge to react struck him. He walked quickly to the two ninjas. Saruno looked as if he was about to collapse. Putting a hand on Saruno's shoulder, Kevin tried to help Saruno. "Saruno...Its me, Kevin..Are you Ok?..let me help you!", he said. A million thoughts flashed through his minds at the moment. He then turned his focus to Ryu, who lay unconscious on Saruno's arms...and she still looked beautiful! "Oh Ryu..."

Thoughts flashed at the feeling of her past lover nearby, feeling Saruno's arms underneath her reminded her of her daughter, Hikari, and the feeling of Kevin drew a blank, the lines slowly fading in as she slept, the memory of a kiss, and another, villagers screaming in Konohagakure, and feeling her eyes fade slightly, the memories fading as she saw Kevin trying to move her, but the memory soon faded, as the small kitten doll struggling out of her arms, as it looked at the two men, one carrying his mistress, and one who seemed to be worried. Ryu became more pale as it stood, but it didn't seem to notice, as it's plush arm gently rubbed her arm, a faint glow resonating from Ryu's arm, as it touched her, as he looked at Kevin, back to Saruno, and dropping his head onto Ryu's arm, letting it's body fall onto her stomach, still touching her arm.

You see, struggling memories caused Ryu to grow pale, and seem like she is dead, but she was stronger then most shinobi and kunoichi. Avoiding many things happening to her, including scars that never disappeared, in her memories, and some lost, forever, and only to come back when she saw someone she knew from her past, but there seemed very few left, some dead, some alive, and some never to be found. Memories flashed around in her head when the eerie glow had appeared on her arm, the plush kitten slowly pushing his plush arm away, to avoid a memory that could really hurt her, to know of it, she would want to see someone she knew long ago, considering she was about thirty some-odd, but never aged, so she remained at her last teenage year, nineteen, and the curse could never be broken.

The plush kitten rolled about, climbing on Saruno's shoulder, and slowly humming something in it's head, and looking to Kevin.

"It's less then ten minutes before mistress is dead .. nearly. She's an eternal being since she has ever loved you two." it spoke, and jumped back onto it's mistress, feeling her pulse.

Hearing the small animal's words just near him, made him want to burst out in a dark flame of power, but didn't. His eyes were tired, but his body was still enduring pain of the previous battle. But having Kevin near him, and wanting to help him with Ryu wanted his teeth to bare and bite his arms off. He wanted to make sure he kept on his way to Kumogakure. His legs were starting to shake with each step, but built up his strength and kept moving. Only....3 countries to go. His feet were quiet against the ground, his eyes staring in front of him, his folded, bloody wings against his back. He wanted to go home, get rested up, and help Ryu anyway he could. Having more people complicated things, especially with his current nature of personality. A small flicker of a summoned angel appeared around Saruno, swirling around his head and looking down at Ryu, Kevin, then Saruno, a tilt in the small one's head making a voice of a female be heard.

"Finally got her back, Saruno-kun?" The small angel said, it's tiny wings fluttering a little in glee.

"G-go away, Hini, I'm not in the mood..." His voice was annoyed, yet stern, his shoulder bumping a little towards her. He wanted her to go away, and shoo, she caused nothing but trouble, especially with that staff of her's. A violent cough came from him as she made him talk, his voice and entire throat being sore and aching from pain, god it hurt so much. Shifting himself to pick up his pace on the ground, a bit faster than Kevin's movements, he held Ryu softly, making sure she didn't fall or get dropped. His arms had enough strength to hold her for another 4 days, even after the epic battle earlier. He didn't want anyone to touch her, not to take her away again. He couldn't handle anther betrayal, not one more. A huge spark of chakra blasted from his right shoulder as it struck into a nearby tree, shattering it in two. Blood flowed down that shoulder as it died down from power, the skin being burst open, from the inside. It got far worse, especially when using, 'That', technique. It was torture, pure torture.
