~General Information~
Name: Jouijie Seiashi
Nickname/Alias: 'Who?'
Weight: 112lbs
Height: 5'4
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Appearance: Trimmed, smoothed back black hair with an annoying habit of random strands coming completely loose and hanging over his face. Has narrow, clear green eyes that have black flecks in them, extending out from the pupil at the 3 and 7 o'clock positions on the left eye and the 6 and 4 o'clock positions on the right eye. Eyebrows are slightly pointed at an acute angle, roughly tilted at 60 degrees above his eye with a tiny spike of brow going down the end, making him look vaguely intimidating. Small ears that often fade into his hair when it's uncombed and most of the rest of him is obscured by clothing. Light hands with lean fingers are really all left to be seen after a point.
Clean faced and skinned with an odd pale-mocha color to his skin, he has a general build that suits a training ninja: Lean, somewhat muscular and with a handful of scars of various kinds. His legs are deceptively slim and when actually viewed closely they have a layer of muscle on them not easy to see through his clothing. His overall build is one of subtle power, but not particularly outstanding in any capacity.
Clothing: Like many Mist-nin, Jouijie wears the typical attire; a cotton and fiber body suit with stripes on it. His suit his mainly a light, elegant pale blue with black stripes. He also wears a pair of gloves, typical of ninja with no fingers and a slightly expose palm for gripping, though on the back of them he does have a small metal plate with the Mist symbol engraved onto it. His forehead protector is tied around his left shoulder in such a manner that the symbol is facing skyward but visible from front or back of him. He wears oddly light boots however, little more then typical shinobi sandals with straps that tie around his ankle. Around his waist he wears a simple shroud, a black cloth tied in knots like a belt that hangs in an almost complete circle over his legs, down to his shins. It is stitched with light blue fabric and has the Mist symbol in the light blue on the back.
Personality: Jouijie is one of those types. Calm isn't so much the word, nor is relaxed. Quite a distance from emotionless however. He speaks plainly and well, however he often forgets to speak at times when pressure is on...Or simply doesn't. In his pressure situations, there are often periods where he won't even speak at all and simply make hand gestures. Far from being cold however, he can usually be found in crowds of people socializing nicely...He just doesn't like to talk. He's also very hard to find the line with emotionally. He tends to be quick to be friendly, but he has many easily pressable buttons that can put one on the other side of the line. And quickly.
He tends to stray from anger and tempers any emotional state he finds himself in with a thick band of reasoning. He never brags about accomplishments, he never puts himself before a companion and he serves his village faithfully. All in all, one initially can suspect him of a lack of ambition, which is far from the truth. In fact, all the things about him lend to an image that seems almost painstakingly crafted by Jouijie: Calm, reasonable, loyal, patient, peaceful and efficient. All in all, he comes off as the perfect Shinobi and because of his personality often falls into the back of packs.
In his deepest soul however, Jouijie strives to perfect himself. He isn't so much obsessed with betterment as dedicated to it. He trains often, by himself or with partners, and is often found training more then his mind. His personal favorite trainings include odd trainings such as sitting in a public place and making himself hard to notice or even more unorthodox trainings such as chakra training by standing upside down on trees, on ponds or even in semi-dangerous locations.
Comradeship means much and little to Joui at the same time. He welcomes it, but he has a deep seeded value of himself that makes him capable of ignoring the opinion or presence of peers. His personality also lends itself to the act of taking life, however. Compartmentalizing and pushing down reservations, he accepts the act of taking lives as needed for a Shinobi...Though he hasn't actually taken one yet. How he reacts under that pressure remains to be seen, but he seems to think himself capable of handling it.

~History/RP Sample~
History/Background Story: Birth: Born to a pair of low-ranking Chuunin Shinobi shortly before they left on a mission, Joui has flitted from various cares all his life. First his parents raised him until his first birthday, leaving him in the hands of their friends and companions. From that age on, he was living with a different family every year, picking up on all kinds of personalities and moods, ideals and mindsets. From harsh, dedicated Shinobi to calm, cool Assassins, he's lived with them and found himself more then once perfecting the invaluable asset of remaining quiet, complacent and above all, invisible. Taught varingly throughout his life, he picked up on many essential elements of Chakra control and ninjutsu even before his academy enrollment. When he came of age to enter the Academy however, he slipped out of the life of those who'd taken him in.
Academy: Once Joui entered the Academy, he literally became a ghost. Aside from official records and various friendships he made, nothing about him seemingly existed. He sat quietly during every class, only speaking when called on and when practices came, it seemed like he purposefully faded into the background. Middle of the pack, never leading or trailing. Though he passed with above average marks in most basic classes, none of his instructors seemed to even recall his name and most of his friends only knew him as 'Seiashi' regardless. He graduated quickly for his age, mostly owing to his upbringing and own ability.
Genin: Once he became a Genin, Jouijie completely broke free of his past. He took up his own home using his carefully hidden funds, though only enough to purchase a very, very slummy building in the back alleys of Kirigakure, and began to live for training and being a Shinobi. Though not assigned to a team concretely, he had done a few minor missions in the village...Mostly the typical D-Rank missions all Shinobi live through.
Roleplay Sample: The hand-seals were formed quickly, the young man closing his eyes as he faded into tree's shadow completely, even the whites of his eyes fading into black. His posture was quiet and contemplative, perfectly mimicing the serene forest glade he was in. A thin fog held over the area, providing even more cover for the shinobi to wait and stand. Seconds passed and he closed his eyes, then knelt down in the shadows. He focused foremost on maintaining the henge, second on paying attention to noise. The glade was right next to a small store house, in fact within touching distance of the small building. It had a clan sign on it and had bars on the windows, moonlight shining down on it. A dreary, peaceful place.
Footsteps cracked slowly in the distance, two voices distinctly making themselves known to the hidden Joui. "S'over this way. I figure we can sell the stuff." came one and a soft grunt of acknowledgment as the steps drew closer. They were soon close enough, the crunch of a branch telling Jouijie they'd passed just in front of him...
And he opened his eyes, moving quickly in the night and grabbing both forms he saw by the collar. In a flurry of movement and a brief struggle, he'd lifted both up into the air and twisted, causing a chorus of 'Ouch!'es and 'Shit!' to echo into the clearing. Moonlight struck his two charges, revealing a pair of Kirigakure children dangling from his hands. They kicked and struggled, turning to face him, but stopped when they saw his outfit and his forehead protector. "S-shit! They musta hired someone to watch the place after brother ripped it off..." one young man huffed as Jouijie moved, pulling that particular one under his arm and carrying him firmly, the other one still dangling from his had. "Lemme go! Lemee goooo! Smelly shinobi! We just wanted some money..." this one pouted as Jouijie kicked his feet, propelling himself into the air and landing on one of the larger trees in the area. He found the branch he was looking for quickly and pulled the boy under his arm up, now hanging his collar off a piece of the branch. The other boy soon joined him.
"Here...I've got to go inform the Clan Guards." the young shinobi said, pushing himself down to the ground and landing feet first, huffing a little. "But, you know, if they can't find you when they arrive, I might not remember what you look like...I get paid for stopping you, not for catching you." the man said, turning and grinning as he began to walk through the forest. The struggling and huffing of the two young boys behind him trying to free themselves was rather entertaining and quite funny to listen to.
Lifting his arms above his head, he stretched a little and bent to his side, cricking. He'd sat in the shadows far, far too long. Now he wanted to get home and rest for tomorrow, collect his pay...And hope someone gave him something worthy.
