Kutsui vs. first genin to post (read description)

The shadows slowly crawled across the dirt in the grand arena. The sun were setting over the deep forest. In the olden times, there would sometimes be festivals in the arena, with lanterna glowing throughout the entire night, and a crowd of people staying up to enjoy the festivities. Now, however, the arena seldom got visited. A few rivaling ninja met here to battle and test their stregth, but otherwise it was never populated. It was weird, because the arena was perfect for matches. It was designed to withstand even the toughest A-rank jutsu, and in the commercial time a barrier squad would provide extra protection for the crowd.

Kutsui sat waiting in the seats, waiting for her opponent to show up. She had sent out a note to that person introducing herself and inviting the person to a friendly match to test their strength. When the shadows covered the arena floor, Kutsui would take it that the opponent wouldn't show up, and go home again. She still hoped, though, that the fight would stand.
