Winking slightly, the discharged bolt curled around Metaru, guided by a magnetic field, the Akatsuki had used this technique against the raikage far too often, and was quite used to being able to activate the field instantly, and almost without any mental urge. With that out of the way, Metaru kept coming, his hand just about to make contact with Kisho. The metal clones meanwhile, kept up the lightning, if a single shot got through, Kisho would be stunned, leaving an opening for more bolts, keeping him stunned, and eventually giving Metaru an opening.

in the moment that metaru blinked, zodiark was replaced by a log, falling to the ground as id was hit by the lightning

Metaru cursed under his breath, the lightning stopping and the clones looking for instruction. Waving a hand, Metaru made a signal for them to spread out, and they did so, searching for their opponent. Ermine, then returned to Metaru, climbing up his leg and resting on his shoulder.

"What's the deal boss?"

Metaru sighed, "The usual, sniff out the traget, report back to me." Nodding it's head, the small stoat leaped off Metaru's shoulder, it's stealth cloak coming back into play as it disappeared. Sighing once more, Metaru used his own stealth cloak at this point, resuming his search for the missing Zodiark.

sitting up in a tree a about 10m away, zodiark pulled out his staff and threw it into the forest, controlling it to make it sound as if it were a person walking through the forest, in hopes to lure out metaru

Metaru's neck snapped towards the direciton of the sound, and not long after, his clones had surrounded it. Metaru meanwhile, stayed stealth, and eventually was within sight of the staff. Mentally cursing himself, Metaru's eyes strayed to wander elsewhere, trying to locate Zodiark, but the nin was so far, unseen.

as soon as the staff was surrounded it snapped back together and shot straight at metaru's head with enough force to shatter stone

Metaru raised a hand, metal covering it instantly, and blocked the staff with his palm. Though it didn't necessarily hurt him, the resounding vibrations sent through his body stung somewhat. But shrugging it off, Metaru kicked the staff aside, then reached into a pocket for a summoning scroll.

"So that's how it's gonna be hunh?"

as materu pulled out the scroll the staff hovered a few inches above the ground and began to spin at a blinding pace as it again shot out at metaru's chest

The staff spun through a white cloud, and instantly bounced out. When the cloud vanished, Metaru was standing there, tapping his chest. "Marble, slightly stronger then your average stone." In his right hand he held a black scythe, the bladed weapon looking quite menacing. Having undergone his transformation, he had quite a wild look in his eyes, the white marble making him look skeletal. Turning, he tossed the scythe hard, watching it spin into the forest, a few seconds it came back.

As if they were all hit at once, the trees north of Metaru all fell over, cut at the base. Nope, no Zodiark there.

"Come out come out wherever you are!"

the staff stuck in the ground straight up and down about 4m in front of metaru, a moment later zodiark was sitting on the top of the staff as he said "come now, is losing your mental stability really worth fighting me"

metaru responded by simply stepping forward, swinging out his scythe and hooking it on the staff. With a short tug, he then drug it out of the soil, hoping to topple Zodiark over. Metaru then laughed maniacally, launching himself towards Zodiark while swinging his scythe.

zodiark floated to the ground, stepping back he caught the blade of the scythe with his fingers, pulling back, causing metaru to stumble forward

Metaru simply flipped using his forward momentum, bringing the scythe under him and out of Kisho's grasp. Turning he then slashed downwards from above, his strength now multiplied by an immeasurable number.

stepping to the side of the slash, as the scythe buried into the ground zodiark swiftly brought his knee up towards metaru's chest

It was true what they said, Zodiark was the physically strongest member of the group. however, in this form, Metaru was the most physically resilient. As such, when the knee hit him, he flew back, carving a trench in the ground with his scythe until he connected with a tree trunk. He then opened his eyes again, and appeared to be unscathed.

Raising a hand, Metaru then fired bullets of metal, five at a time, one full round for every step he took towards Kisho. "Fun?"

zodiark spun the staff in front of him, knocking the bullets away as he said "i don't think we've hit fun yet, i still haven't gotten to have any kind of alcohol"

Metaru nodded briefly, "Suppose we'll have to find another way to ruin your liver."

Leaping high, the white demon then spun sideways, tossing out a kick. He then continued, flipping forwards and bringing down his scythe again.

catching metaru's legs, zodiark spun the two around throwing metaru into a tree. he tan reached into his coat and pulled out a bottle "well if we are going to continue this, i'm going to need a drink" he popped the top off it and chugged the entire bottle of sake, shattering it on the ground zodiark stood there as he began to sway back and forth slightly

Metaru's body crashed through the tree, and his solid frame rolled through some under brush, tearing his cloak, but doing a nice job of showing off his marble body. Standing, he continued to giggle, admiring Kisho's audacity. Raising a single hand, Metaru let out a pulse, attempting to knock the already inner ear infected Kisho off his feet.

zodiark fell backwards rolling around for a moment before stumbling back to his feet and saying "pfffft, i've had harder falls by accident"

Metaru just grinned, and continued the pulses, amused at Kisho's antics.

zodiark continued to stumble until he eventually got used to the pulses where they didn't even seem to affect him as he said "please stop, all this spinning is making my head hurt" as he held his head with his left hand

Metaru grinned, "One more? Pleeeeeeease?" Kisho's feet were about two inches away from the edge of a cliff, one of the lakes being below a good twenty foot drop.

"no" he started to run at metaru, closing the distance in less than a second, and once he was within a few feet of metaru he jumped forward, throwing his weight into his shoulder as he tried to tackle metaru

Metaru bent forwards far, Kisho's shoulder rolling over his. As soon as the other nin was on his back, Metaru stood, his lower back tossing the weight off of him. He then turned to watch how Kisho would land.
