Nothing is Left - [Ryu and Eiichiro] - [PM to Join]

Her mind staggered in the distant moonlight. Ryu looked around without confidence, her white hair slowly patted on by harsh rain. Her Akatsuki cloak was removed, she had her navy and silver dress on, with dark, slick black jeans underneath. Ryu looked around her with a sigh, hearing the rain patter against her, Ryu seemed to flick her ears each time when it hit her. She began to walk towards a shaded area of a tree, her mind shattering each memory, each good one as she walked. She remembered her friends, though Sakon seemed to fade from her mind. All because of Pein, she told her secret, and now everybody had known.

Ryu was an Uchiha. She remembered her mother and father with ease, but they seemed to fade from vision as well. It seemed like she was chasing her old dreams, as they never came back again. Ryu blinked lightly as her eyes turned to red with two comma like shapes sitting on either side of the pupil, this was the two tomoe. Ryu looked to the sky and seemed to cough in a light manner, but only some could hear it if they were passing by the trees in front of Ryu. She waved her hand in front of her mouth, she coughed a little louder, so more people seemed to see her. But then they faded into a nearby house for protection from the storm. Lightning cracked, though Ryu didn't mind it, she sat down under the tree she was heading to and pulled her knees to her face as she put her head down on them. "What did I do wrong.." Ryu whispered to herself, trying to cast a new vision.

A young figure stood in the darkness a few feet away, his features obscured by the constant flickering of the rain. He could only be about seventeen, possible less. He was wearing a slim black pair of tight jeans, held up by a black leather studded belt. The buckle a heart shaped mould of pure silver. The gloomy weather had soaked him to the skin, his shirt clamped to his body and water poured in a never ending stream from his hair.
There was something in his hand, whatever it was it glinted in the low light. A sharp prick of gold, cutting through the rain. Whatever it was he was staring at it, crying maybe?. Though the blackness of the night made it hard to tell.

Ryu couldn't see it but there was blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, within sat two inch long canines, painted with a smear of crimson. The figure raised his head and looked up at the moon, it was a full one. The brightness easily visible in the night sky. A shadow of red danced around its edges, giving off an eerie light that bathed his face in its cold blanket. For a moment he seemed fearful backing away from it, as though he were scared. As Ryu shouted he slowly turned his head in her direction, staring at her with his deep crystal blue eyes. A glimmer of surprise and hunger flashed through them as he dropped the object he was holding and turned his full body to face her.

She heard the faint shuffles as the moon slowly glowed an eerie blood-red, Ryu lifted her head as she seemed to have her fang sticking out, she was ready to jump if she could. She saw the shirt clamped to his skin, then his jeans with the studded belt. She seemed to give of a faint glow of chakra, it seemed to be a blueish colour. She saw him looking to his hand, she looked to him wondering if he was crying or laughing. The water poured from her wet self to the ground, it gave off more of a glow as it touched the outer glow of Ryu's. Ryu's white hair seemed to flow gently, she continued to think of her life, remembering her parents as they faded fully. Her eyes seemed to catch his eyes staring at her, she flicked one of her black ears and slowly stood up, her fang gave off another glow for a couple of seconds as it then disappeared eerily.

She saw the object fall to the ground, being her curious self she continued to look at it. Then looking back up to Eiichiro she saw him face fully to her, she slightly smelled smelling the essence of blood. Ryu seemed to look for it as she continued to watch Eiichiro with caution.

Eiichiro was Ouya. He knew why he couldn't keep his eye's off this girls throat. He knew why his brain was crying out for him to attack her. He knew why the blood on his lip tasted so good to him. His mother had told him once she had become clan leader. The Ouya were vampires. All of them. Once they see blood they become overwhelmed with an uncontrolable desire to feed on it. Earlier tonight, he had already seen blood. He was already well in to his feeding craze. But he couldn't attack this girl. She looked so innocent.

Her throat pumped gently, the crimson liquid flowing freely through it. One bite and it would all be over, he would be drinking the one thing every memeber of his clan needed to stay alive. Blood. He could almost taste the sweetness on his tongue, the flavour was undescribebly wonderful to him. But he couldn't do it. Not this girl. Still he was fixated with her throat, staring at it like it was the only thing in the world he cared about.
There was nothing holding him back except his own will, if he wanted to he could do it. But he couldn't.
No matter how much he wanted to. He wouldn't let himself kill this girl.

She saw his eyes staring at her, no not at her.. Her throat. Ryu seemed to now see a small drop of blood hit the ground, her eyes lightly following it dribble into the ground. Ryu then seemed to cough again, trying to catch his attention. If she did so, maybe she could befriend him, but it might end a little harsh. For she was Akatsuki and he was a Jounin. Ryu saw a man limping down the road, his leg beat to the crust. Ryu looked back to Eiichiro with an eerie look as she looked to the moon. She remembered folktales, bats and vampires come out at fullmoon at their full form to drink. Drink what? Blood. Ryu knew now he was a vampire, she'd known of them, but never believed in them. She believed her eyes. So she saw a vampire, but how could this be true? Ryu slightly flicked her ears as her eyes went to a golden shade, then her fangs were sticking out. Both of then attracted a chakra colour that seemed brown, the shade of the terrain they were standing on. The blue chakra surrounding Ryu seemed to get larger, she was angered.

Ryu noticed him holding back, though she reached into her pocket and pulled out a small bag, only senbon were in it. She looked for one that had been stained by her blood, or another's, then saw the kunai Kevin gave her, it was stained with blood from the man she killed from the snow. The blood was fresh still, though Ryu looked to it and waved it in the air, then stuffing it into her pocket.

"Lookie here, need some blood?" Ryu said softly, tossing the soft end of the kunai to Eiichiro, so he could catch it without getting hurt.

An air of surprise and relief flashed across his face and he nimbly caught the Kunai in between his index and middle fingers. As soon as he caught it he raised it to his mouth and began to slowly lick it off, savouring the metallic flavour. In seconds he was finished and let the Kunai slip from his hand and embed itself in the soft ground beneath his feet. It wasn't much, and it hadn't completly banished his hunger but it had satisfyed him enough for him to happily approach the girl. His tongue dropped out onto his lip and licked up the remaining droplets of blood he had missed from his last meal. The girl was looking at him calmly. If she was scared then he hid it well.

"Thanks" he breathed. Gasping in a big gulp of air "I...I think I'm full enough now". Speaking with disgust he screwed up his eyes and shook his head. When he walked towards her, he seemed to glide over the ground. No sound was made by his soft footfalls and in a moment he was standing next the girl. Like him she was young and they were about the same height and build. It was their hair colour that contrasted. Her snowy and pure white colour was striking against his dark, midnight black shade.

A dark wave of wind began to flow over the area, slowly encasing a small amount of leaves from nearby trees to around a certain figure in the distance. It was Saruno, on his usual walk through the land of the Rain, and his visit to the village's many features. "Well well, what do we have here?" he said within a dark, unrelenting kind of voice. His chakra was simply burning through the rain that was surrounding them. Clouds formed over the sky within moment's of his entrance, pounding against the rough edges of his straw hat. His right eye was covered in it's usual sealed bandage, the sealing over his skin on the eyebrow and the lower part of it was showing to the two before him, his left eye being it's normal shade of white with a crimson streak around the edges.

Sliding his left palm to his hat, he removed it from his head, showing the streaks of white over his crimson hair, letting it slowly fall to the edges of his ears. It was a normal day for Saruno, meeting with someone on his travels, even his own Akatsuki partner as well. It was interesting to him in several ways, more than one it seemed, but his usual emotionless expression didn't tell his mood, just his tone of voice.

Eiichiro slowly, even hesitantly turned to the direction of Saruno. His lips moved as if he was about to speak, but he thought better of it and swallowed the words before they could be spoken. Still eyeing Saruno with a mixture of curiosity and wonderment he switched his attention back to the girl in front of him. " I must thank you for the meal, but it would be dangerous if I were to stay any longer...". Blood dripped from his mouth to the ground in a mesmorising but equally digusting manner, leaving red splashes among the perfect green of the grass as it shivered in the sudden wind Saruno had brought apon them.

For what seemed like an eternity no one moved, there was an awkward silence hovering in the midnight air. Eiichiro shifted uncomfortably, twitching almost...he could sense the unease between the three people. For amount his blood-lust returned and he started to open his mouth in an eerie hiss, but he shook it from himself with no little diffuculty and regained his composure. The icy wind picked up and lashed at the skin of the three shinobi, whipping them with flecks of water and...snow?. Still no one spoke, all three remained silent. Staring at each other, trying to disguise the suspicions they haboured so willingly...

Ryu felt the hail and snow lash at herself, Ryu brang her arm in front of her face and listened to the two talking, "Saruno, your here why?" Ryu seemed to drop her hand from her face and heard Eiichiro's hiss. "No, no. Please, stay here, Eiichiro."
Her eyes seemed to shift to the moon, it's aura then covering itself in red. Ryu looked to Eiichiro again and sighed.

[Short but, eh.]

Saruno simply looked over to Ryu, an emotionless gaze showing, nothing else. Softly, he shifted his left index finger slightly, creating a small amount of chakra in the air around them, blocking off the hail and snow with ease. "Eiichiro, you may stay if you like...I am not that dangerous" he spoke with a dark, unrelenting kind of tone. He didn't like seeing people leave because of him, it was annoying to him a bit. "And Ryu...I am here because of my own...reasons" he said within a softer sort of tone, but still within it's dark nature. Sliding his left palm to his hat, he shifted it a bit downwards, letting a more powerful wave of chakra overflow the outside of where they were, blocking off more of the snow and hail coming down at them. Saruno was powerful, but he had some weakness.

[Short....]

" Reasons?...". It was Eiichiro who spoke next, his voice was unsure, somehow distant and dream-like. His eyes also bore the same tone, it was almost like he was not fully connected with reality. It was almost like he was in some kind of trance...

...An owl swooped silently overhead. The wings making nothing but the smallest noise to annouce its sudden an presence in the night sky. Eiichiro let out another hiss. More menacing this time, the sound was laced with the hunger and lust of a hunting animal, the same noise it makes just before it strikes...his eyes followed the owl as it circled repetivly overhead, hooting softly. Just as the bird began to drop Eiichiro's eyes flashed, his pupils expanding to cover the entire iris. Then he let out another noise, a screeching out breath that chilled the spines of everyone unlucky enough to here. With a looked of horror in its eyes the owl desperately attempted to gain its height again...but it wasn't fast enough...it took a fraction of a second for the unfortunate creature to be plucked from the air and held at such an angle that one swift movement would snap its neck like a twig.

Nobody moved, Eiichiro kept the bird in his deadly choke hold poised to kill it intstantly. But as earlier something was holding him back. Deep down inside him, trapped by the blood lust of his clan was his sanity. A second passed, two, three...still he held the bird, he wanted to kill but once again he wouldn't. Terrified out of its mind the owl was screaming out wildly, twisting and turning in a hopeless struggle to escape. It had been almost a minute now and still nothing, nobody spoke, the horrific squaking of the owl seemed to envelope the whole world.

Suddenly Eiichiro let go, stumbling back a few paces and shaking his head with disgust. On the floor, writhing to regaining its footing the owl spread its wings and shakily returned to the sky. "Sorry...". Barely a whisper came from his mouth as he stared sadly at his former prey. "Sorry...". This time he spoke to the people around him, neither Ryu or Saruno seemed to have anything to say...both had an air of surprise on their faces but other than that they were emotionless. Eiichiro shook his head...

[Srry if that was a bit random...I was bored out of my head...lol...]

Ryu heard the faint swoops of the gentle white owl flying above them, then seeing Saruno's chakra absorb the area around them. Her eyes shifted to Eiichiro then back to Saruno with a gentle, but small smile. "Oh.. reasons.." Ryu sighed faintly, hearing the owl screech as she looked back to Eiichiro, grasping the owl's death. His hands unfolded lightly a few moments later as the owl studdered and flew back into the sky, screeching for help once again. Ryu seemed to see Eiichiro for a few more faint, quick seconds until she shut her eyes and fell onto the ground with a large thud. Ryu passed out, but no one knew why, not even herself.

Saruno watched as Ryu fell unconscious to the ground, only for him to gently walk over to her, his sandals stepping to the newly dried ground, the rubble under his feet sliding against it. It wasn't all so interesting to see his partner fall unconscious for reasons unknown, but it was something he had to take care of. After sliding up to her side, where she lay, he began kneel down to her body, seeing what would of cause the unconsciousness. It was curious, but at the same time intriguing to him. "Reasons...." he whispered quietly to himself. The reasons he was thinking of were many of different thoughts, but something was all so curious to him. Why. The chakra barrier around the area, protecting the placement from the pounding snow and hail began to weaken along with a bit of his emotion. It was totaled on his emotion, and how he used it. Some bits of snow began to fall through the barrier of chakra, seeing what would happen next in this moment.

kamoku was right behing ryu, in a low tree. his eyes glowing bright, his eye looked like they were intesley interested in the small cluster of humans. humans and creatures like him.
he gripped his umbrella made out of waxed human skin and bones. the canine teeth lining the edges. kamoku raised his finger slowly. retracting his black index claw toward eiichiro. " i have something that you might need. you look like shit right now so i think i came in time."
he rubbed the water out of his dyed hair and pulled out some bloodbags from his pack. " i heard you like AB. its hard to get this stuff but i pulled a few strings."

Eiichiro came up behind Saruno and knelt down by Ryu's head, still looking unsure as he checked for her breathing. " Probably..." he mumered to himself as he gently unravelling his scarf and placed it under her head to form a pillow...of sorts. " Often happens...". This time Saruno looked up at him. " When we're in the height of our blood lust we send out this sort of negative feeling...it knocks our victims unconcious so its easier to feed...". For a moment Ryu's eyes fluttered open but they almost instantly closed again and Eiichiro turned his attention back to Saruno.

" I never meant to put her to sleep...but I can't control it". A flurry of grey and white burst over the two huddled ninja blanketing them with a light dusting of snow. Ryu's whole body heaved as she let out a deep shuddering breath. After chewing his lip for a while and staring at the sleeping girl he stood up and began to walk off...

...About thirty seconds later he returned with a pile of wood and dropped it to the ground. Ignoring Saruno's quizzical look he let out a light breath laced with chakra. The wood caught light instantly and threw up a crackling fire, quickly heating up the three ninja with its swirling myraid of orange and yellow flames.

kamoku toosed the blood packets to eiichiro after he made a fire. he then directed the rain away from the growing fire. he pulled out a thick wool blanket and draped i over ryu, caeful not to touch her. "jeez, i wouldnt want to be the person you cant help to kill..."

he widend his umbrealla so the skin streached into a dome. he watched the snow settle and swirl all round them like dust along a dirt road. a blizzard will come soon, kamoku loved them. but it would prove fatal to the rest.

kamoku turned to the tree and took out a scroll te size of a cigarette. he activated it." Hawwaian firebug...."he squashed it and pulled out mineral oil. he mixed them and put it on a rag and wiped it on the humans skin. " this'll be like a hot and cold pad. so she wont get frostbite."

Catching both packets deftly in one hand he shot a thankful look at the newcomer before ripping open both packets and downing the blood in less then five seconds. After the last dribble of red trickled won his throat the last hint of darkness was flushed from his eyes and he walked over to the stanger wiping a drop from the corner of his mouth.

" She won't be able to feel a thing for about an hour, our gaze numbs our victim so they won't feel a thing" he said kneeling down and staring at the sleeping Ryu. "It'll be best just to keep her warm and wait until she wakes up...". Eiichiro giggled a crossed his legs " No ones ever woken up after being put to sleep by an Ouya".
The stanger let out a fraction of a smile before shaking it off and going back to applying the rag to Ryu's freezing body.

" I'll have messed up her blood flow as well. Once the person falls asleep the blood flows to the head and neck... Causing disorientation and dizziness...". Eiichiro checked her breathing again and moved her head so she was partially sitting up. "That should make it easier for the blood to leave the head" he mused looking at the stranger.

kamoku shrugged. the snow was building up fast and his hair was growing " just because she cant feel anything, doesnt mean she wont b affected by the cold. she could still acumulate frostbite. and im srry to say, so could you". ike cray. his white hair showing and the black dye making it stand out more. it was down to his shoulders now. kamoku made the umbrella urn to wood. making it into a house-like dome.

he then put some meat on and held out his bag full of blood just in case the bat dude wanted more.

Saruno looked to the two at the corner of his eyes, feeling all so protective of Ryu with a bit of his might. Yet he calmed himself before his emotions took the better of him. He let down a small sigh as he brushed his left palm against her cheek, thinking a bit about his past, and how it happened to a few family and friends of his as well. It was something he did not like, one bit. But people were trying to help her, and they didn't even know what was Ailing her, but even with Saruno's chakra reading capabilities, he couldn't know what was.

A drifting wind came by the small barrier of chakra, flowing past the people within the area. It brushed past his crimson-streaked white hair with ease, his left eye continuing to gaze upon Ryu. He was simply worried about her, wondering if he could help in any way that he could. In terms like this, he would do anything to help her.

[Short...]

Ryu didn't feel anyone moving her, standing over her, or just plain helping her. She was deep in her sleep, though she knew what was calming her outside this wretched nightmare, her friends, or just good people. Outside where the others were, a purple aura started to surround her just like it was feeding on her chakra, but the aura was chakra itself. Her eyes seemed to shut tighter by the minute like she was in immense pain. Ryu gritted her teeth as well, though she still did not know what she'd be doing 'out there'.

As Saruno sensed the purple chakra around Ryu, he knew exactly what to do next. Placing his left palm into his pocket, a small pouch filled to the brim with large shards of Narusu. It was a special crystal known as such to absorb the contents of chakra. Although dangerous to his own kind, he kept it around as a medical tool. He placed the crystal on the top of her stomach, seeing what would happen next with the crystal, Ryu's chakra flow, and the way she might be if she wakes up in such pain.

[Short....]

Eiichiro felt Ryu's forehead with the back of his hand. "Luckily she's beginning to warm up" he said with a hint of guilt finding its way into his voice. "I didn't mean to do it but the feeding craze takes over your mind so easily" his voice was shaky as he leant back and crossed his legs. " I can't even belive I managed to let that owl go...".

Behind him the fire gave a loud crackle as it was beffeted by an icy gust of wind but it managed to stay burning. Eiichiro was staring at Ryu silently mouthing something inaudible to both Kamoku and Saruno's frostbitten ears.

(ello, my bodies dead, i cant feel cold)

kamoku didnt hear what eiichiro was saying, and didnt really want to. he tossed a few more packs of blood at him and pulled out a firebug. he set them in the folds of her jacket o keep her warm. he then put soe boiling water over the fire and pulled out several herbs and coffees. ".........." kamoku then pulled some bark off the tree and ground it in a pestel.

Breathing softer once again, Ryu felt faint movements, but they were almost unoticibal, "Mother.. Kira.." She whispered in her thoughts, which were able to be heard out where the others were. "Father..." Ryu heard faint footsteps that hadn't been real, imagining the world without her, she thought of Modorokie, Oshiroku, and some others who saved her life. Feeling warmth, Ryu slightly breathed heavier, then chakra being drained out of her made her thoughts worser.

Saruno removed the crystal on her stomach all so lightly, not to wake her up from her slumber, but to see if she would be alright. Seeing her in such a state worried him a bit, but in more than just because she was his teammate. A small sigh escaped from his pale crimson lips, closing his eyes as he sat on his knees, next to her, hearing her whisper in her dreams, and listening all the same. He was there, to listen, to do anything.That was a promise he kept dearly.
