meeting an old friend

the clay house glowed in the sunlight, it was a peaceful morning. with no one, not even the kazekage here yet. it was around 5 in the morning, the desert hawks calling out on their roosts and the camels readying for the villagers. soon, a man in an old orange dusty habit walked into the office. his white hair and creepy face coverd in an old hood with beads rattling around him. there was an elephant bone staff in his left hand and a small japanese tea cup in his right filled with mango tea. he sat down on the floor with hisback to the wall and crossed his legs. waiting either to get caught or to see the kazekage. " oh, a pirates life for me. haha." he laughed. his voice sounded like he was either crazy or high

Lee was walking over to his office. He didn't live in his office you know. He had his own home where he slept at. He yawned into the early morning sky and scratched his ruffled hair as he walked inside the Office Building with some files he had to do overnight and a cup of coffee to try and keep him awake. He just happened to walk up the steps and reach the top floor, where he opened his office door and was nearly scared white. His coffee spilled all over him and his morning shirt and he just stared at Ki, sitting in a chair. He just stood there, looked down at himself and laughed full-heartedly.

"So, of couse i haven't seen you in a while, and next thing you do is sneak into my office and scare the daylights out of me!" He was laughing. He reached down and picked up his mug as his laughter slowly ended. "So, what has been going on with the Great and Mighty Ki Willow?" He chuckled.

ki chuckled, handing modoroke kis mango tea. pulling back his hood to show his white hair and his usual squinted eyes, giving him a weird look. "well, thats what im asking you. i woke up naked in the middle of a forest with my capsules all gatherd around and next thing i knew it i realized several years have gone by. did i die again?" ki laughed, uncrossing his legs and scratching his neck with his black claws.

Lee had stopped for a second and looked up at Ki. He realized his white hair and older face. He then processed what he just said through his mind, thinking of the incident with him. He then had a thought.

He stood back up and placed his mug ontop of his desk, took off his shirt, and put on a spare one from his closet. "Well, what were the capsules for?" Lee asked as he placed his foot on another chair, but his arms were at his side so he looked like he was in a Captain Morgon position, but he wasn't. You know the Captain Morgon whiskey, right? The bottles have a pirate on it? Well, he looked like that, only his arms were at his side and the other one was on his knee.

ki swivelled around in his chair like a child and then hung upside down on it. his feet almost tounching the ceiling and his head touching the ground, his hands folded ehind his head, grinning. "well, in short the capsules hold my memories, feelings and general health throughout my entire....160 years of life. turning them into biotic weapons and removing them for my jolly attitude and to ensure the humans saftey that i wont go bonkers. though its kind of hard not to at the moment." ki laughed again. "i didnt store my last memories before i kickd the bloody bucket."

Lee just stood there, a little puzzeled. He then thought a little bit more, then realized what might have happened. He looked back over at Ki, then asked "Alright, I have an idea. Is there a chance that those pills were identical to your memory ones, but were poisonous, so you would have no idea what would have happened?" This was the best theory that he could come up with, either that or a different idea that he had in mind.

ki laughed. "they're not that kind of capsules you twelve inch stick.they're sort of like fluffy tupperware with legs. no poison in em." ki sighed and swiveled himself right side up again. " maybe i just forgot to store my memories before my death, making them disapear...eh. the only way to get em back is to ask people what i did and said..." he mumbled. " bt thats immpossible, i always store my memories...."

Lee just stood there puzzled once again. He was totally stumped on what to do. "Well, I'm stumped." He stated. He was still tired from waking up just 15 minutes previously. He yawned some, then walked behind his desk. He laid out some files, pulled out his chair, then sat down, but fell asleep with his head on his desk for about 20 seconds before he woke himself up. He shook his head some, yawned again, then looked onward hazily at Ki. "So, is that all to the story or did something happen before that....or do you not remember?" He asked him.

ki streched and pulled a cup of tea out of his sleeve. " no i do not, and i found out that my brother in law is here, miyuki is dead, the castle is gone and i found out that i was the mizukage for a while. though i have no rcollection of it."

Lee was puzzled for the moment, so he did what he normally did in a situation like this...."I'll get back to you on that. Maybe if we investigated some later, then we might find out what happened." He then turned back to his coffee cup, which was now empty. He just sat down at his desk and put his feet up on top. He knew that he had paperwork to do, but he did not want to do that yet. That was the only flaw with being a kage. "So, besides that incident of you being dead....again, how have you been?"

"eh, im teaching a genin." ki took modos cup, refilled it and set it back down. " there, just dont drink it all, i put a lot of caffine in it. and no investigation is nessecary." kis eyes gleamed through his hair. " you and i both know i can d intterogations."

Modorokie sniffed his cup and the liquid inside of it. He smirked a little, seeing that he could use the caffine. It might wake him up from his awaken slumber. He drank about half the cup and took one big gulp. Satisfied, he snacked his lips, then set his cup down. Just then, his eyes opened up....WIDE. "So, your teaching a genin are ya?" He replied with and increasing speed in his speech. He then took another drink and smiled big.

ki sighned. palming his face. " i put 4 servings of caffine in there....god...here. ill inject you with mydrisol so that way you wont crash and itll last about 3 days." ki got up and puled out a bottle with green pills in it. ki took out one pill and gave it to modo. "and yes, kushinata and hybris."

He was injected with the needle and slowly started to calm down, but there was not a major difference. He squinted a little, but that was basically it. He then grabbed the cup and tossed it behind him, into the trashcan, without looking. "4, wow, that's quite a bit." He stated once again.

"yeah, i thought you needed it." ki pulled out the needle and took a swab to staunch the minor bleeding. " so what can i do? i was dead, i have no connections and im the most powerful willow that is known to the ninja nation at the moment. plus, im bored and my sanity isnt getting any longer."

Lee just laid back in his chair and propped his feet up onto his desk. He then tilted his head back and relaxed his body to calm down and flush out the caffine. "Well, I have no clue then." He closed his eyes and started to breathe as little. Seeing as though he now could not fall back asleep, then sat his head back up and sighed. "Sorry, I'm just tired to the point of dying.....rhetorrically."

ki laughed. "eh, you humans are something. you deprive yourself of sleep, the one thing that keeps your huge spaggetti heads moving and expect to be at the top of the world. well, i could always help you with paperwork." ki shrugged, plopping himself on the floor.

Lee just laid his head back and simply replied, "No thanks, I'm okay. It is just difficult at times since I have to be in my office from 5 AM - 10 PM." After a minute of just sitting there in silence, he propped himself back upon his chair and grabbed the file of paperwork. He reached into his desk, staring blankly at the opened file. He pulled out his pen and started writing. "Well, might as well get started."

Hybris traveled all the way from the Mist Village to speak with the Kazekage of the Sand, and hoped to discover the location her swordsman, Ki Willow.

She walked to the headquarters and entered after revealing her identity to the guardian ninja. She lightly knocked on the door, stating her presence was known by announcing her name.

"It is me, Hybris. I wish to speak to you Kazekage Lee"

ki suddenly jumped from his lounging state and grinned like a nude kid that just ran from his bath. "well, i cant let the game go unfinished. away my legs!!!" he yelled as he grabbed two paper wings, attached them to each of his feet and lunged out the window, teleporting just before he hit the ground. his laughter could be heard throughout the building as he fell.
